Its gotta dog park, two gated sections one for bigger dogs and one for smaller. Albeit both sections are small. Its always picked up. Never stepped in poo, a pretty big miracle considering the space.Theres a creek, trails, playground, bathrooms, kids love it, closes early, butt still a great spot.

Its quite, spacious, and well provided by the city, or county. Whichever it may be. Clean and serene.

Great place to hang out with the family, dogs (for a walk or inside the dog park), playground, paved paths for walking or jogging, playground, fishing platforms.

I absolutely love this park because there’s ample amount of space to have your family hold a picnic, play football or take your dog for a walk on the walking trail.

Very nice park, its big. It has a dog park, playground, soccer field with a track to walk around. Theres a boat ramp and docks to fish. It also has picnic tables with bbqs

Quiet park on the morning I went. Lot of walkers. I am Magnet Fishing in the U.S.A.

Took the dog for a walk. It was good day for that and they have added additional trails. Walked about 2.5 miles.

Excellent park for a relaxing walk, bike ride, rollerblade, and whatever other activity you enjoy. The restrooms were open and extremely clean. The lawn and trails are well maintained and there are many places to sit and enjoy the river.

Beautiful, peaceful, clean, great staff, loved the river pool, if I could rate higher I would. Will be back.

Arrived after a 6 hour drive, to eat was in a ambulance as I am a paramedic, was 6:15 walked in an was told they couldnt seat us we have to order an go, which we did, an walked back to the ambulance to eat, an watch as other people,were seated an ate inside. I felt as if we were punished,for being in a ambulance,But I Will NEVER eat again at a Waffle House.

Great place to float from to Neyland and Volunteer landing. Takes about 2 hrs

The playground equipment really needs to be cleaned thoroughly. Other than the state of the equipment, the park was rather enjoyable. My kids had fun and after all, thats what matters right?

I love this park! Its kept up better than any of the other parks around and has a nice walking trail with multiple path options. There is also a barbque area and a covered pavilion.

There is an enclosed Dog park near the parking lot. There is a Picnic area for reservation with Knox County Parks. Soccer field, walking path and kids playground. There is also an area where you can go fishing by the River.

Nice park right along the Holston river.

The room had exposed sheetrock mud on the walls. The exhaust fan in the bathroom wasnt operable. One of the 2 bedroom lights was in operable and appeared to be coming away from the wall. The bedspread had cigarette burns in it. I found this place through Priceline and wish I had paid 100 bucks a night somewhere else despite the good deal I got for this place at 44. A truly unforgettable experience.

I love this park for walking my dog. There are paths in the wooded section and around a double soccer field. Sometimes there is trash left on the ground. Sometimes its quite a bit.

WARNING!! HOLE IN FENCE!Unfortunately i had to find out the hard way. Needless to say, after an hour i have my dog back . I will never be back to this park. Regardless of whether the city/ county fixes the hole. Im very disappointed in the city right now. One park goes to disrepair while another is having tree planted right now. Just not right. I will be reporting this first thing Monday morning to parks n rec department.

All of the trees and vines were cut out at the street which were a noise and eye sore buffer from the trashy apartments across the street .... ugh... we go there a lot and today all we heard was loud music and people from the apts

Very nice and safe appearing park. Have been here numerous times through the years. Nice soccar field. There are walking trails that go along river and through the woods. Bathrooms were well maintained. Parking a bit limited for large events, but extra can be along street

This is a beautiful park that is, unfortunately, near a sketchy part of town that utilizes it as a haven for drug deals and unscrupulous behavior. That being said, my boy thoroughly enjoyed the playground.

Just visited for the first time today. I found it to be nice and peaceful. Good walking trails and taking a break to look at the river was cool.

An awesome place to have picnics, birthday parties, or any kind of outdoor event within the rules of the park.

Beautiful riverside park features paved Greenway trails around 2 soccer fields and up into a hillside forested area, where bluffs overlook the river. The picnic shelters are large and there is a dog walk. I love walking and picnicking here for the open countryside feel.

What a surprise nice walking path and playing fields along the river. Peaceful. Did not know there is small dog park here.

2 miles greenway is really good!

There werent many signs saying anything. We saw an open field, a restroom area and a picnic area. Restroom was trashed. We drove further in search to see water, but ended up leaving the park without knowing... It was okay but not what I had in mind.

A pretty community park with river view and access for kayaks. Soccer field and paved walking trails are a plus.Dog park: minimal. Small, maybe 1/3 acre for entire park, divided for small and large dogs. Water fountains available outside of dog area boundaries. Trash cans outside of dog area boundaries, near parking lot. No waste bags available, except donations. Bring your own and please use them.

Part nearest river was underwater due to the recent deluge of rain. Usually a beautiful park to stroll or run around.

Nice quiet park on the river. The reason for the 3 star rating is numerous times the gate to the parking lot for one of the entrances has been locked for no reason during the day.

Nice park with pavillions and clean restrooms. Parking gets full at games and events.

Simple open place to run your dog. Plenty of shade and benches to sit on. On the smaller end of other parks around. No swimming area, but good amount of walking trails. Usually not too many dogs around, with small and large dog sections.

It was cold, and basically empty. Perfect for a winter morning walk.

Very nice park has a nice walking trail also has fishing piers so you can fish comfortably. Also has a soccer field, picnic tables, barbecue grills, public restrooms, an adequate parking.

Park was neat with both a shady dog park and a playground for the kids. We were able to let both boys and dog burn some energy on our long road trip. Also have covered picnic benches
