My family and I(married with 4 daughters) have lived at the crossing for almost 5 yrs. It is nicely set up for a trailer park. They are all double wide trailers set up in a subdivision type layout with nice yards and fences dividing the property. This is the only nice thing about the crossing. If you have children dont move here.Their playground is dismal and they do not keep it repaired. Its actually getting to the point of unsafe. The sand is dirty and the 6×6 used for the supports are rotting at the base and the swings are usually broken. You cant have your own swing sets or trampolines or even small pools for toddlers. If you have children I absolutely recommend another trailer park. The others around Knoxville are much more kid friendly with much better playgrounds and pools. They go thru park managers a lot here. I think this is currently number 4 in the last 5 yrs so be prepared for a constantly revolving and changing set of rules. And this latest one, I think her name is Lauren(honestly I dont know. She isnt worth the small brainspace needed to remember), is arrogant and condescending. She walks around with this pungent aura of Im the manager and Im superior to you and regardless of anything else, I have total control. Sadly, she does. Ive found out that they have the power, they dont need a legit legal reason, to ask you to leave. And that leads into the real reason for this post.Like I said Ive been there almost 5 yrs and have dealt with a few different managers and of course there has been minor issues and concerns. 4 daughters and a full time 70 hr a week job, you prioritize things differently and time moves much faster, than those who dont have children or who are on public assitance or retirement. Sometimes things get pushed aside. So sometimes a manager would come with concerns and, after feeling embarrassed of not getting to it sooner, I immediately took care of it.This latest park manager, up until a month ago,we had an nice relationship. We had nice conversations in person and I brought the home and the yard up to her very stringent standards. Im surprised she doesnt measure the length of a blade of grass with a ruler to make sure it isnt over length. A month ago we had a very great conversation on the phone about just that. The yard.Im away from home a lot now and spring hit and the grass started growing really quickly so she called. She said they would mow the lawn and after this 1st time we had an agreement that I would pay her(the park) to mow it weekly after. A super easy solution and I thought it was a nice conversation.Um...... Omg that conversation ended up being a disaster for my girls and I because it was that conversation or very quickly soon after, when she must have found out I was trans-female. I say found out because she had no idea. I pass extremely well and Im, in the eyes of my doctor, fully transitioned in the medical guidelines. Im sorry, I dont play pretend or am part time and up until a month ago she had no idea.Soon after this phone conversation we get an eviction notice from her with no reason given other than we broke some park rule but she refused to tell us which one. And when I called and asked about it, I actually thought I was talking to a different person. That the park had a new manager because the entire tone of her voice and her personality had changed. She turned cold and refused to even talk to me. All she would say is you have an eviction, no I dont need to give you a reason or give you a chance to fix it, you have 30 days to leave or it goes to court but you have to get out.Like what the hell. So my full and very honest recommendation is, if you or.your family is anywhere in the LGBTQ spectrum or you have children that like to act like.....idk.....CHILDREN, stay far away from the crossing. The management is apparently very transphobic and the corporate office doesnt feel obligated to respond back to emails.

I have lived in The Crossing for 17 years. It is a nice place to live. The neighborhood is beautiful and the management is always there to help. I am a homeowner and this is where I call home.
