I believe the show would of been better had we had a fast pass or better seats. The seats in the back limit the viewing on the water. Had to get up and stand in an area that we were not suppose to stand. A bit disappointed with the overall experience.
Beautiful but I would have skipped it to take advantage of shorter lines on rides at showtime. Not as good for little ones (my 4 year old was terrified of the villain sequence) as Rivers of Light at Animal Kingdom or Magic Kingdom Fireworks Spectacular. Great show but not worth the wait and the crowd to get back into the park once its over.
This show was incredible. I have never seen something like this before, and I had a smile on my face the whole time!!! So neat how they use the water as a screen! I love how they incorporate so many different things into this show! And If you haven’t seen many characters live in the parks, it’s great because you get to see them all in one place!!
This is our favorite show at Disney Hollywood. We always do the dining package special that gets entry into a reserved section. We have always been able to sit on the first or second bench from the front. Warning you may get a little wet if you sit in the first 3-4 benches from the mist blown by the large sprays of water.
Very fun show. Warning to parents with small children, this may be a touch frightening. But Ive always really enjoyed this show, tip to newcomers; Use the dinning package, you get in early and get center seats.
Loved that medley of Disney packed into one show. Our favorite songs and scenes with lights, fountains and fireworks. Get the dinner package for priority seating and save a fast pass slot
Great family experience celebrating the creativity that was Walt a Disney. All seats are equally excellent so no need to use a fast pass. However you can do the dining deal and get great meals and great seats.Easy for all ages.
Great show! Very crowded but worth it. Get there on time and sit in the front! Good end to the day
Got a little scary for our youngest (6) but other than that good show
One of the best shows in Disney. You need to make it to this show, you will not regret it.
Nice closing show, arrive a little early, plenty of room though, the bus lines will take long after though, maybe up to 2 hours, so leave the show early if you need a quick exit
Fun and entertaining fireworks show with disney characters, get there early if you want a seat near the middle, show can be seen clearly from all seats nonetheless
This is my daughter’s favorite nighttime entertainment at Disney Hollywood Studios. It’s great Disney storytelling in a nice amphitheater with seating. We never get tired of seeing this show!
That was a really fun show. I didn’t know you could project onto water like they did. Very impressive.
Wonderful and I hadnt seen the ears my daughter got at any other park
Fantasmic is a unique Disney experience and one you can only see at Hollywood Studios from the Orlando parks! The show is a mix of fireworks, boats, and character appearances. The fireworks and special effects are spectacular! The story is a little mixed, but seeing some of your favorite Disney characters in special costuming makes up for it! I would see Fantasmic at least once on your Disney vacation
A classic. Its basically the same show for just... so many years now. The music is by far my favorite part. I love this show and will continue to see it, although I must admit I would LOVE to see some updates to it. Some scene changes would be great. But I also love it as it is.
My favorite show from the parks
Personally I feel this is the best show on Disney Property. Great narrative and great visuals... Especially when the water is set on fire. We will be back on our next visit. My suggestion is to book it as part of a advanced dining reservation so that it doesnt affect any of your fastpass+ reservations.
One of Disney Worlds finest nighttime shows!
Love the story. I recomend a dinner package with reserved seating!
This show is a great way to end your day at Hollywood Studios.
Couldnt possibly think of anywhere better to go if you love Mickey Mouse. Its outstandingly fabulous in every way, shape & form.
I watched this show many years ago after having a few drinks and I must say it put a tear in my eye. Mickey shooting fireworks out of his hand ... who wouldnt get a kick out of that?
ABSOLUTELY MAGICAL. Fantasmic stands the test of time, and sitting there listening to the pop covers of Disney songs over and over just gets me so excited for it to start. Its easily one of the best shows on Disney property. Get there early so you can get a seat- you dont need a Fastpass, but it gets crowded.
The best show on property! Sadly only saw it once, but it was really good! Effects are great!
I heard they were or already have changed this show. The show is wonderful so Im sure they are only going to be making improvements. Get there early to get the perfect seat as it fills up quickly.
An experience like no other. This is my favorite show at Disney that both kids and adults can enjoy
Ive seen this show 4 times. Everytime it gives me chills. Really well put together.
The show is good and Disney always change it
A little dated but still one of my favorite shows. The cattle call to get in and leave could be better.
One of the iconic night shows at Disney Hollywood Studios
With close seats in the amphitheater it is by far the best show Disney can offer. It is engaging and very entertaining. I’ve seen it several times over the last 15-20 years. It hasn’t changed that much but it never disappoints. Just don’t be in a hurry to leave.
To bad experience... Show was cancelled, I brought my mom all way from a different country paid the ticket and she wont able to enjoy the show... And the worst thing they dont care ... @disneyworld should be responsible and at least refund the entrance or admit us back next day to enjoy what we have missed tonight
Not my favorite nighttime spectacular. Loud and disjointed with a very small seating area. The wait lines are extremely long since people are willing to stand in line for almost two hours to get a good seat because of the limited seating.
I have missed this show in the past and I was determined to see it this time. It is held in a stadium so that limits the number of viewers unlike Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom which can be seen anywhere you can see the front of the castle. We got there an hour early to secure good seats. The show is a mixture of water, land, music, film projection, pyrotechnics and fireworks. It lasts 25 minutes and is presided over by Mickey as the Sorcerers Apprentice. You see his dreams and his battle with the villains. Of course Mickey prevails after an epic battle with a snake and dragon and he is joined by all of the well loved Disney characters at the end.I am glad I got to see this show at least once. Unless it was changed up I probably wouldnt need to see it again. When we came out I saw that there was even more fireworks in the sky. I followed them to the front of the Great Movie ride where I saw yet another night time show, Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular being projected on the front of the theater. It was very cool with scenes from Star Wars and stirring music. I dont know why Disney ran two shows a the same time when I would have like to see both fully.
A good show but getting dated
GREAT show ! In this show you can see many characters which you dont normally see.
PLEASE, PLEASE!!!Dont waste a fast pass here, we had fast passes because we want good seats but the employees sort the people in arrival order, so our fast passes were useless here. The show was amazing and spectacular!!!
Beautiful show and a lot of fun. Gave it 4 stars because the Fantasmic at Disneyland is the 5 star version.
Pretty show but wet. Make sure you bring a poncho especially the front. Glasses wearers beware. Other than that it is a good show which reminds you of the movie.
The best kind of Disney show you can attend. So much to see: Characters, Fireworks, Fire, Projections and more, all in full swing with the Disney music. You should see this if you have the chance, but be on time and please pay attention that it will take some time to exit the arena, as thousands of people will find their way to the exit.
As one who never uses the word “banal,” I left the show thinking, “I need to look this word up to see if it’s right for this experience.” Sho’nuff: banal.Use of sprayed water as a projection screen was cool. However, we sat in the middle of the grandstand, between 2 of these “spray screens,” and had a good view of neither. The show compensated for its lack of imagination & inspiration with its loud volume of music & inconsistent stage lighting.Giving it 3* since it entertained the kids.
The live show is unreal!!The wait for thisspectacle is long because the arena is so large...so just be patient. You need to arrive at least 30 mins early to grab a decent seat. The Fantasmic show mimics Mickey Mouses Fantasia cartoon. It follows Mickey through many of Disneys classic movies while he is pursued by the evil witch who eventually changes herself into a huge Dragon at the end. The water even turns on fire!!Great for kids and adults alike. There are some scary parts for younger children so be aware of that and make sure you cover their eyes. Show is nearly 30mins long and youll exit the park after it. Youll get to see the Star Wars fireworks as you exit the show. All in all...it is really a great performance that is masterfully crafted by all the live performers.Highly recommended.
Very entertaining. All the Disney characters.
This is not to be missed!! Spectacular laser, water, special effects, fireworks and extravaganzas of characters.
Spectacular Disney shows are everywhere, and this one is good. Not just because you get to sit for a while, but that is nice. The kids get anxious waiting for it to start, but they are glues to the entertainment as soon as it starts.
Great show, amazing effects and nice to see so many villains involved.
Amaizing show. Go see it!
Wonderful for almost all ages, but very intense imagery continued for what may be a very long time for the very young. The climactic resolution may be missed if their young sensibilities have shut down too soon. I may be over-blowing this, however. My almost-4 grandchild was sufficiently impressed, and expressed delight.
Awesome show, lots of seating! Very neat water effects! If I had any complaints, they sell light sticks and Mickey ear hats that flash different colours, while fun, if you sit behind someone who doesnt turn their hat off during the show, its very distracting.
Seems a bit tired. But its entertaining.
Great show. Definitely worth doing
Kids will love it. Be prepared to get wet. The mist tends to blow onto the crowd during the shows. It can get cold.
Fantastic is a show you will NOT want to miss! Its a great way to end your night at the park. I wouldnt suggest getting the dinning package because the seats are actually not that great!
Always worth it to stick around for. When they have 2 shows nightly, go to the later one. Its much less crowded.
Saw the show 12 years ago and still remember the magic! So upset I took my family to see the show and we got rained out. Missed the Star Wars parade and firework show as well :(
One of our favorite shows ever. We ordered the dinner plan tickets and got amazing seating! Its well worth the extra money!
Great show. We Fast Pass with dinner at Brown Derby (which I highly recommend). Do not sit behind the stage posts. Do get a good view of the Disney Mountain.
Absolutly fantastic, no words can describe the feeling of being there.Just...magical.
Arguably the best fireworks/nighttime show in all of Disney World. The theater is great, and there really isnt a bad seat in the house! The show incorporates acting, dance, characters, fire, water, projections and fireworks for a truly one-of-a-kind experience.
While the DCA version of Fantasmic is my favorite out of the two, the WDW is just as entertaining and magical! The only issue I had was the funneling of the crowd to exit the theater, there needs to be more exits available!
An enjoyable show at the end of a day at Hollywood Studios. Its been going on for a while and appears to have had minimal changes compared to our last time seeing it several years ago. Lights, fire, lots of loud sounds and music, fireworks - it is a high energy show. I wouldnt spring for the extra cost dinner package. We were able to still get fastpasses for it (after using the three we had booked for other rides) about an hour and a half before the show. The fastpasses here really just get you to a more centrally located seating area and I though the view of the show from there was really good. The theater is in kind of a remote area of the park back behind the Hollywood Tower of Terror - which is particularly an issue when it comes time for several thousand people to try to leave at the end. Dont plan on exiting quickly. Still, while I wouldnt do it every time we go to Hollywood Studios, particularly if you havent seen it before, it is worth a view.
One of my favorite night time shows at Disney!
The pinnacle of Disney shows. On the whole they are well done but this one absolutely sets the standard for what Disney embodies. There is something in it for all ages and it suprises at every turn with the unexpected. Well worth the crowds and the wait.
Disappointing to be honest - preferred every other show at the other Disney parks. Fastpass also seemed a waste of time - we arrived during our fastpass slot to discover almost all the seats were taken.
What a way to end your day with the fantasmic display
One of the best shows at Walt Disney World Resort!
A lot of water and A lot of Special effects. on any given night I would say about 2/3 of them are working. Dont get me wont. It is still a great show. GO SEE IT! just saying that with all the stuff that they have going on you are very unlikely to see the show in its true perfection.
I love this show! But while it’s good fun for the park to pack the theater, it’s not good or fun for guests - we showed up 30-60 minutes before the show last night as recommended with FastPass+, but still were seated in the extra bleachers in the back of the area. We could literally see nothing on the water, so about half the show. It’s a pretty dumb idea. We would’ve rather been told there was no seating left than catch parts of the show from the nosebleeds. No theater or stadium in the world would put in seating like this in which guests can’t see everything going on. Do some more shows for everyone’s sake!
Great show! Saw it for the third time around and was not disappointed. The effects can be hard to see on the water projections but when they are visible, it is amazing. Its a free show and everyone visiting should see it!
Fantastic experience and a great show. Takes a while to get everyone in and seated, but totally worth it once the show starts. Be prepared for a bit of a wait at the end of the show, takes a long time to get everyone out of the venue.
YOU MUST EXPERIENCE THIS!!!! It is seriously one of the coolest shows I have ever seen. It is a bit slow to start and sometimes hard to get good seats. But it is a great and entertaining show!
Incredible show. Id say this is a must do if you are at Hollywood Studios. Our kids loved it as well.
The best experience Disney has to offer. The light show and fireworks are incredible. Expect huge queues to get out at the end though.
Great show, we got there 90 minutes early to get a Front row seat. This show is great and fills up very quickly
I love fantastic. Awesome
It was a great show and I liked it!
This is a dont miss nighttime show. They combine pyrotechnics, movies, and live action into a great show about Mackeys dreams. The synced Mickey ears you can buy are really cool with this show.
Amazing live action laser/fireworks show. Plenty of great seats in the theater. Should be seen by anyone visiting the park.
Amazing show, definitely a must see at Hollywood Studios. I loved how they played the scenes from the movies on the water being sprayed and the scene with the dragon and fire on the water just WOW!
Jaw-dropping nighttime spectacular; most exciting at Disney World. Due for an update, but for first-time visitors, unbeatable.
Good show.
First row you will get wet when the wind changes direction, but not much. My family has never seen a show like this before. Definitely magical.
Excellent show. It is always fun no matter how many times youve seen it. Make sure you get a fast pass or get in line early to get a seat. Worth aeeing if youre in the park.
Fantastic show at Disneys
Fun show, but once youve seen it once or twice it is no longer worth the hassle to watch again.
Awesome show. Very neat experience to finish the night at Hollywood studios
Beautiful show with a story, everything is in the water. You get to see so many beloved Disney characters and scary villains! Mickeys water show is so memorizing. This show is for all ages!
A not-to-miss show at Hollywood Studios.Arrive early, seating section is not guaranteed even if you have a fastpass. Those who pay for the dinner are the only to get priority seating. There is very limited standby seating so do actually get the fastpass, just dont show up 15 minutes before showtime and expect a good seat. Some parts might scare very young children, but only if they have not seen many classic Disney movies and know that good wins in the end.
Place is pretty cool but what it is I dont know the kids loved it everything up theyre so expensive so its not I dont want you pack a big wallet to have a really good time you going to bring some money but this place wasnt that bad they had a lot to offer
We really enjoyed the evening show. Just make sure you dont forget to bring extra layers of clothing, it gets cold @ night.
Exhilarating show, decent length too. Yeah, it helps with the park exit push, but it is worth it. Some really cool effects.
Very large amphitheater with plenty of seating. The center of theater would be my recommendation but the show can be seen from the sides as well without missing much. Lines for the show start forming 1-2 hours before the show starts and everyone rushes in, pushing to make way. The mad dash out as soon as the show ends is even worse. As for the show itself, I can’t make a trip to Disney without seeing it at least once. A definite classic!
