Bismillah. ASA. This is the only Masjid in Key West! We were traveling and had the opportunity to pray there, Alh. So simple, beautiful, and peaceful, M’A. Jazak Allah Khairan to those who take care of it. Note: you enter through the black iron gate at the side of the building next to the barber shop. There is a small latch on it that you could open. Then go up the stairs and enter the last door on your left. Well wishes. Peace. IA, to all the above.
Salaam brothers and sistersReached to Brother Mustapha today asking about getting a Nikka done. His response was No I can’t do it.No questions no interaction just a flat out no.This is very concerning and in my opinion not a very good representation of Islam. In times like these we are all charges with how we represent our faith.
Small mosque.. but neat and clean.. peaceful.. you’ll love it..don’t get confused because the map shows the mosque in the wrong place.. where it says just cross the road and refer to the pictures of mosque..
A place for Travelers to pray. I love that quote. It hit my heart.
May Allah reward his blessings to whomever is built and open this humble mosque to travellers. We prayed here and it was open and available throughout the day. A must stop for Muslim travelers.
Brother Mustafa. Thank you for maintaining a Masjid for the locals and the Traveller. Much appreciated and may you receive your reward from the Maker of us all. Aameen.Advisable to travellers to call and listen to the voice message.
It is more like a Mussala. There is an old gentleman who takes care of the place. Getting inside can be tricky, as it is through a black gate that seems more like entering a private residence.
May allah bless the people who made it and work here. The location is kinda hard to find, but there is a gate between “bobby shop” and “we cycle”, you will go upstairs second left door. The gate is actually on southard st.Thank you again for hosting us.
Nice and clean. Take the stairs going up, and it’s the door on your left. There‘s a Wudu sink in front of the prayer hall to your left, behind the left door.
Good to see masjid
Masha-Allah -go top floor it’s on your left side
Up the stairs. Door to the left. Mashallah very nice.
Very clean and nice place.Note that they moved to the second door on you left when you go upstairs.
MashaAllah, prayed Jumma here today, 8.11.2017. To find a place to pray in even the last corner of the US, Subhanallah. Pls donate to support the people who run this place. May Allah bless them, Ameen. Its a small musalla, upstairs, very clean, and nice recitation of Imam. Not a designated place for women, but can arrange a small room upon request. Jazakumallah kher.
May Allah bless people who provide this place to pray.
From January 2017 Key west Masjid al-Maalik has moved to a new location - 600 Whitehead Street (upper rear), Key west. The entrance to the masjid is from Southard street, take stairs by the bike shop.
Assalamualaikum, ma-sha-allah a very nice community. The mosque is on the second floor, go in from the gate that faces the police station/pink apartment building. Call the mosque for jumuah salat and other salat timings.
Nice little mosque above the bicycle store on Southard; strangely enough, Ive had a couple of bad experiences with the superintendent (who I think lives in the mosque); on two different occasions, this guy interupts my prayer to inquire who I am, and why Im at the mosque; Ive never experienced something like this at any mosque except this one; anyway, I called the cops on him, and hopefully he never talks to me again
Assalamualikum, I went friday but missed the jumma. Alhamdulillah very nice masjid.
Assalamu Alaikum This is Imam Musa Azam Ibrahimi From Chicago, my wife, kids and myself were visiting the keys, as we pass the Islamorada, (Islam orada) we said we need to build a masjid on these islands. Alhamdulillah we found this and were pleasantly surprised, beautiful place, we thanked Allah and prayed for the caretakers and the Muslims. We would have benefited if we had found little history on the masjid and the local community.at the masjid Plus some recommendations for muslim visitors,, we would have celebrated.May Allah reward you and accept all your efforts. Jazakumullaahu Khairan
Very small masjid, jumah has attendance, but parking is costly, and not on site!
You must goto the second level to enter this masjid. Also is the second level facing the street not behind the building
Ma Sha Allah amazing
Very nice.
Beautiful masjid
Makes me feel right at home
Nice mosque
