Small but very pretty. The staff was excited to share their knowledge. It was damaged by a hurricane before I arrived, but they did a very good job cleaning up and keeping the integrity of the garden.

We inadvertently disturbed a birds nest with chicks while trimming a palm tree. They were nice enough to take custody of the voices and hopefully raise them until they can take care of themselves.

I had a sea turtle meeting. Park has a wild animal rescue center that you can volunteer at. Bocce court. Across the street one way is Rest Beach. Across the street the other way is Higgs Park with dog park, play ground, tennis courts and more beach.

Walking along the beach, its a somber and educational experience to visit this park. It is more or an historical monument. Nicely done

There is a small nature park here, but thats not the main draw. The draw is easy, plentiful off street parking right next to Key Wests main beach and a bocce court with 6 lanes. A league plays there 4 nights a week.

I use to come here for the bocci courts. Playing with or just spending time with my friends here or just watching the others playing was fun. A lot of people came here for this and fellowship.
