This is a beautiful park and trail where you can relax and enjoy the nature by walking and running! Absolutely, it is not too big nor too small but perfect distance for looping. Great place for family gathering and spending! Nature is absolutely gorgeous tho! In the midst of the city life, this is definitely a needed place. Come and enjoy the views and place and space! This is a great park with a very nice paved trail that covers a few miles. Weve been enjoying it for years, but it used to not be so crowded. The crowdedness is fine but there are a few jokers that ride E-bikes going much faster than necessary. It may not seem extreme, but its much more than these people could achieve on a regular bicycle. Im looking at how to report this because the sign clearly says no motorized vehicles or excessive speed.

This park is great for outdoor activities. We had an awesome time with the bikes. The water retention pond is huge. Next time will go fishing.

This man made wet land preserve has something for everyone and it serves an important purpose in holding rainwater. The large playground is perfectly designed for kids to run and play. You will also find exercise stations around the trail for chin-ups, sit ups, etc. If you are up for some off the side walk exploring, you can take the off the beaten path trail that leads to the pond.

Beautiful park with a great bike and walk trail surrounding a lovely lake. Its usually pretty busy lately in the evenings. We went on a bike ride during the very hot afternoon and there were creepy guys lurking around, one was wearing a full hoodie with the hood up on a 97 degree day. Something was up, so we got the heck out of the park. Be careful everyone!

Ok trail nothing fancy...the nice trails are more up north. Wouldnt come back again. Clean trails soccer and baseball fields around ..

Nice paved trail with optional hiking trail for a section of the walk. The exercise stations along the way make for a thorough workout, and each station has examples of several exercises that can be done. We got there about 1pm on a Monday, so the traffic was light. The park serves as a reservoir for flood waters, so after a heavy rain, expect flooding and a muddy go for several days on the unpaved part of the trail. We found several nautilus type shells that washed in, a couple with inhabitants, and saw a few geese, ducks, and egrets. Definitely going back.

I really enjoyed the bike trail at this park it is perfect if you are a beginner rider or if you are getting back on your bike after a long break.

Walked the loop behind the Lakecrest subdivisions and there is not 1 bench to sit on if you need to rest. Otherwise, very nice and quiet on a Sunday morning.

Solid beginner trail for walking and biking. Goes around a lake bed.

Nice paved trail around water and trees. Almost feels like a nature preserve. There are fitness stops around the loop you can use and theres even a swing with a nice view. The playground is nice size for children to explore. Plus theres plenty of parking. Nice choice.

Pretty nice park with a couple of different pieces of equipment, and very cool bike trail. My husband comes here on his mountain bike sometimes. There are paved paths and dirt paths.

Great sights and great for beginner bikers and kids, aa it is almost a level ride all the way. Just be careful when crossing Porter because theres no street light for pedestrians.

Great place to run. To clarify there are 2 trails. One around the wetland area at 1.49 miles and one across the street at 1.55 miles.

Nice park and trails. Ive never been on the weekend, but it is usually quiet during the week, which I prefer. Good place to bring your dog, but please clean up after your pet. Most people seem to ignore this despite posted signs.

I particularly enjoy running here. It has a nice paved loop and the lower part on the south end of the park has some nice little trails. You can also get another 1.5 miles by going to the trial on the other side of porter road. My only suggestion might be to put a bathroom accessible for the park.

Great park and wonderful bike trail. March 2018 we saw a bald eagle while at the park. It was my first time seeing a bald eagle outside of captivity...it was something I will never forget.

Great place just make sure you do not leave valuables, in your car at this park unless you want them to disappear. Area has a playground for the kids.The most important thing to know when coming here is to DO NOT LEAVE VALUABLES IN YOUR VEHICLE.IF YOU DO PEOPLE WILL BREAK INTO YOUR VEHICLE, and FIND WHERE YOU HID THEM.DONT BE STUPID AND THINK IT WONT HAPPEN TO YOU.ITS NOT IF......ITS A MATTER OF WHEN. And if you have left stuff in your vehicle, and nothing has happened yet. Then you have been very fortunate.** The park is only as safe as you make it. Dont be a victim.Dont bring cash,credit cards, social security cards,or anything you dont want to disappear.PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR SURROUNDINGS and you should be fine.AGAIN if you FAIL TO FOLLOW THE ABOVE and your vehicle gets broken into, dont look for a Pity party for your own stupidity.

About a mile long with exercise stations along the path. I love it and go there for my cardio and calisthenics exercises.

This is one of my favorite places to go walking. It would be better if there was a restroom but there is a clean gas station just down the road.

This park is a great place to visit, relax, and enjoy your family. With a kid-friendly play ground and an asphalt walk-way around the lake, this park is a great place to stroll and exercise (several exercise stations, with posted directions, adorn the walk). There are ducks, geese, birds, and squirrels across the park and on its pretty lake. Take you family and enjoy this great place. (The park needs a restroom near the play ground.)

Peaceful track to walk, run or bike. Everyone seems to mind their own business while exercising . There are a few exercise stations along the way, including the pull up bars, pushup bars, inclined sit up and a few others. If you are tired there are benches along the way. There are pet poop bags and trashcans along most of the route.

Great place to take a long walk. Once around the lake takes awhile! Plenty of parking spots. There is a trail between this park and Katy Park that really adds to the value of this park as a destination. Be careful crossing Porter Road; very busy. Great for bicycling too!

Nice park to walk with family or run for exercise. There are ducks living in the pond too. I just saw the park start to add some benches and exercise equipments along the trail around the pond. Im interested in what kind of equipment they will put. There is no light in parking lot at this moment, so better leave before get dark so you will not run over duck by accident...

It wasnt he pokemon go event and it is a Rhydon nest. Was comfortable with 2 Gyms and 2poke stops got a Hyperion in 3 hours very effective nest.

This is a very beautiful trail and I hope the road construction finishes soon because at the moment it is only accessible by car or by foot traveling on a busy road. When you have two dogs with you that isnt the most relaxing walk.

Hardly any shade but its nice and open and seems to always have a cool breeze blowing through. No bathrooms. But very nice. Ducks. Paved trail for biking, skating boarding. Some primitave trails if you want to get off the pavement, but it doesnt go ask the way around. Overall nice place to take the family to get some exercise in and let the kids play.

A long paved hiking and bicycle trail, however the creek smells.

I took my cub scouts here for a walk they needed to do. There are many families that use this trail in the evenings, so its s a fun. Just beware, Ive heard reports on an alligator living there.

Nice park for walkers and joggers plus an occasional mountain bike cyclists. Also has some dang good fishing for some Yellow Cat.

Its a fun place, and it has been repaved since then and has only one spot that looks like a pothole,thanks whoever;it is a nice place to bike now,and the place is greener also.

One tour around the park is like going around a football field three times. Still undergoing development. Will turn out just fine.
