Nuuanu Pali Lookout is easily accessible off the Pali Highway and a short walk from the parking lot provides beautiful ever changing views of Oahus beautiful, lush mountains, valleys, and coastline. The Nuuanu Pali Lookout is a must see stop for anyone enjoying all Hawaii has to offer. If you enjoy the pictures or find this recommendation useful, please like it and leave a comment or review. This lookout has the most stunning views of the island. High up in the mountains the view looks down the settlements and forest below. Parking is $3 no matter how long you stay. We only stayed for the lookout but there is also a few trails to do. All the money from parking goes to the upkeep of the area. The lookout is about a minute from the car park so we only spent about 10 minutes there. It gets extremely windy up there so youll need to hold on to your hat.

Just an amazing stop. Parking was free and the view is amazing. Its windy as heck, but thats kind of the point. You are on a saddle in the Ridgeline and all the ocean wind is concentrated there. You can see all the places it is raining below you and above you. Definitely a must see and is very handicapped accessible.

Words and pictures cant describe the beauty here. When we walked up to the edge my wife said take a picture I replied there is no way I can take a picture of all this beautyYou can see almost everything from here. If you are reading this wondering if its worth it, I assure you it is. Parking cost $3 for some strange reason but $3 is a very small price to pay to see this beautiful work of Gods creation.

Beautiful. A bit somber. There were a handful of visitors. We came around 5pm. Windy and a bit cold. It felt so still when we arrived, but by the time we left, the wind was howling through the trees. I found it odd, and a bit eerie that one side of the lookout was really windy, and the other side was almost still. Im sure theres a perfectly good explanation to that, but yeah Ill take the side of folklore and urban legend.

You do pay for parking.... it was just $3 i believe. Tip: This area is unfortunately high car break ins and theft.... do not leave valuables in open sight. It is not always easy for visitors to remember that when you are in the midst of excitement and relaxation. Other than that, its generally a safe area. Very windy, a must see and do experience, absolutely gorgeous and breath taking

One of my favorite stops on the island, the view is always amazing. It was crazy windy when we stopped but the views is just as good. I highly recommend this stop to anyone coming to the island, especially if heading to the windward side. Its a short trip off of the highway to get to the spot, and you do have to pay for parking but the view is worth it. If you drive anywhere near here and do not stop, you have failed yourself.

This lookout has a beautiful view of the north shore or windward side of Oahu. You can see Kailua and Kaneohe in a sweeping vista. When we were three in November 2019, they were working on the ramp to the lookout parking lot so you have to turn around if youre coming from the north (driving south) and take the ramp off of the highway going north. You do have to OSU for parking which is what funds the lookout but its a nominal fee and totally worth it. Keep valuables out of sight as we saw car window glass on the pavement while wer were there.

Lovely view of Kaneohe Bay from here but it is sometimes very windy! Do not venture onto the cordoned off Old Pali road as it is unstable! There was a landslide in that area in February 2019.
