Its a must visit place. If you want to experience the really beauty and magic of the nature then you should definitely choose this option. Also, the people of Air Maui are really good and helpful. An interesting part of the journey is that you get an opportunity to see the falls and the cliffs which was used in the Jurassic Park movies. You get an opportunity to see some of the oldest cliffs in the world, a dormant Volcano and much more.

My girlfriend, her family, and I had a great time with Air Maui today. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and I found Richies knowledge of the islands and their history fascinating. He took some great pictures of us on our oceanside landing as well, which we really appreciated. Overall the operation was smooth and professional. Would highly recommend! Gotta do the doors off tour next time though...

My first helicopter ride did not disappoint. Take the Molokai and West Maui tour and you will NOT leave in awe of this gorgeous place. You get to see some absolutely incredible waterfalls and areas of Hawaii you could not see any other way. The pilot had a great sense of humor, explained the history and geography of the areas so well and his flying was so smooth and easy. Probably one of the best experiences I have ever had!!

Amazing experience, first time in a helicopter!!! We did the west Maui and Molokai tour. Wonderful view of waterfalls on Molokai (its truly stunning). I would advise trying to get a front seat since for the best views. Courteous staff, always felt safe!. Definitely recommend

Amazing tour. We purchased the 45 minute tour, which was totally enough time for our first helicopter ride. The views of the waterfall is so beautiful and priceless. I thought I would be nervous, but they get up in the air quickly, not leaving much time for nerves. This was the best price on the island and the staff were great.

We got our tickets through Costco by recommendation. Wow! This was our favorite part of our stay in Maui. Wish we would have done it before road to Hana as it gives a great perspective of the trip from above. Next time I would try a doors off tour but this was worth every penny.

Priced better than some of the others and very pleasent to to deal with. The pilot, Dylan was great at explaining everything and giving a nice history of the sights. If youre going to splurge on your trip to Maui...do it here!Btw...when they say to where dark clothing for better photos..do it! The sun reflecting in caused havoc with mine even with dark cloths.

Great experience. Thank you Richie for the fantastic flight. My ears did feel uncomfortable but it was worth it for the fantastic views and scenery. It’s $60 in cash for the flight video. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend it.

One of the coolest experiences I have had! Maui is a completely different island from the air. All the staff were super helpful and extremely nice. Check in was easy and instructions clear. Dylan was our pilot and he was awesome. Played a great playlist while in flight and was informative about particular landmarks we were flying over.100% recommend. Worth every penny. Make sure to wear black/dark clothing so that there is minimal glare when taking photos.

Cant say enough good things about this helicopter tour. Our guide Troy was amazing and was full of information. I only wished it was longer than 45 minutes. Dont think twice about going. It was a smooth ride with no one feeling sick.

Loved our ride with Captain Kelly. We did a doors off tour to Molokai. Truly amazing views that you cant see from the ground - like the sea cliffs. Very windy, but they give you a jacket and a phone holder. Totally worth the price tag from Boss Frogs - about $250 with fees.

Outstanding experience. Captain Troy was an excellent pilot and tour guide. The perfect speed, the right amount of talking, and plenty of time to take in all the incredibly scenic views. Waterfalls higher than the empire state building, the largest sea cliffs in the world, gorgeous coast lines, and if the tide is right, a few blow holes!

Awesome! When I realized I would be sitting in the middle seat in the back, I was initially disappointed, because I figured I would be unable to see well. To my pleasant surprise, the pilot, Dylan, rotated the helicopter in different positions so that everyone was able to enjoy great views and take pictures/videos. It was my first time in a helicopter, and I felt safe at all times. Takeoff and landing was very smooth, as was the whole flight. Dylan was very knowledgeable about landmarks and historical information. Based on my experience today, I would highly recommend it!

Shaylan our pilot was exceptional as well as everyone at Air Maui. They are quick, efficient, and kind to make sure your flights are on time or to get you on a different helicopter tour if Maui is playing tricks on you ;) . We highly recommend the Molokai loop but hope to do them all in the future.

Awesome helicopter ride with stunning views. I felt completely safe. Molokai was beautiful. If you choose the open-door flight and are a glasses-wearer, then its best to wear contacts because the goggles they provide are very tight on the face.

Fantastic! Awesome service and amazing flight. We did the west Maui molokini 45 minute tour and our pilot Jessie was great. Air Maui location was easy to find and the staff were nice. Went through safety briefing and the friendly staff answered any questions. Throughout the flight Jessie made sure we were okay and was knowledgeable about the geographic locations and facts.

Best experience Ive had in a long time! Would highly recommend. The 45 min Costco e-ticket is a great deal if you have a membership. The mountain waterfalls reminded me of the glacier national park mountain waterfalls, so beautiful,It’s very very easy to get motion sickness on these little helicopters. Worth It! Only way to truly gain an understanding of Mauis majesty is to see it from above. We did the doors off tour and it was incredible. Couple of takeaways for the doors off tour:6 passengers go at a time.The outside seats get beat up from the wind but have incredible views.They allow you to buy the footage and picture afterward for 50.00 if you pay cash.Highly recommend!

We did the doors off West Maui/Molokai tour! This was an amazing experience. It was 45 minutes long and totally worth the money! We got to see the tallest waterfall in Hawaii on the backside of Molokai at around 2000 feet tall! The doors off is windy and cold, but they give you a jacket and goggles to make sure you are comfortable. The office staff was super professional and helpful in booking and making sure we arrived ready to fly! Sit on the outside and it will be much windier than the inside seats, but the view is amazing!

First helicopter tour and super glad I went with this company! I was a single rider and did the 24 hour reservation, it was super easy to book and was discounted! I rode front row middle and had great views. The Air Maui staff is super helpful and nice. Rode with pilot, Cameron who is super informative and amazing at his job. The ride was super smooth and he makes sure everyone gets a good view. Also, his playlist was awesome and went along great with the tour. Definitely check out Air Maui if you are looking into a helicopter tour.

One of the best experiences in Maui. They have different route options. Staff are friendly and the ride was awesome. TIP: Buy the tickets from Costco which is very cheap compared to buying from them directly.

We had our very first helicopter ride and opted for the doors off option. Everyone was really professional and made us feel safe before the ride and as we were getting set up inside the helicopter. I was nervous going into it but had such a fantastic time!

We took the doors-off tour over Molokai with Captain Troy. Sweet baby Jesus, was it breath taking! Im not sure the heli tours with doors on will ever be worth it now that Ive done this... Troy had excellent music jamming in the headsets, it blocked out about 90% of the wind. Perfect music selection as well! He had some really cool and informative knowledge of all of the islands and the sea as well! Cant wait to do it again!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience on our helicopter tour. Seeing the many cascading waterfalls in Hana was awe inspiring. The picture and video we purchased at the end was completely worth it to us. Ive hiked all over Maui but this was a completely new way to experience the beauty and majesty of the island. Our pilot, Cameron Meldahl, was fantastic. He even turned back and forth so everyone could get great photos and video of the rainbows that formed near the waterfalls. He was very knowledgeable and kept the ride smooth. I would definitely recommend Air Maui.

Captain Jesse you are so worth it! I mean your tour is so worth it! It is a must do! Not gonna lie, the tour is expensive, but if you are going to ride the helicopter only once in a lifetime, do so in Maui. Oh and choose captain Jesse.

A great experience. I have taken other helicopter tours in the past and this one was right up there. Very friendly staff that makes it an easy experience. They did seem maybe a little too focused on pushing all of the add on services and items for sale. For a different air experience try the glider rides by Hans out of the Hana airport. A little more folksy and down to earth. Hans gave us a great, safe ride and even extended our air time for no extra charge because he felt bad that the weather wasnt better.

Overpriced.Your better off spend the same amount of money on roundtrip tickets to another island for the day. Youll get 2 flights this way, better photos, more comfortable chairs and double the time in the air. Get a cheap car rental or moped for the day.$45 minutes for 2 people and the helicopter blades are so powerful it ruins almost every part of video from your phone. Even the video from the helicopter company that they offer to sell you is very choppy.It was my 1st time on a helicopter. Never again! Puddle jumpers are way more FUN!!!

Despite my hopes, weather re-routed our Hana/Heleakala tour to the West Maui/Moloki tour. We were not told until we had all the equipment on and were about to walk out to load. It was a tough decision to change my tour or not do it at all, so we went for it. As you can tell, it was rainy and cloudy but we were able to access areas we could never see otherwise. Even though I was in the dreaded middle seat, I got the most beautiful photos. Be warned, helicopters leak in the rain...wish someone told me that beforehand. Not sure I would do another helicopter tour, but it was a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Doors Off is the only way to go. Do the doors off flight it is 10 times better. We had a great time from start to finish, it was worth every penny!!!

Our family has been to Maui 5 times and we had never taken a helicopter tour so we decided that we gotta try it. Absolutely loved it; the scenic views, waterfalls, a birds eye view of the crater and a landing on the far side of the island gave us a new perspective. Took the 1hr ride in West Maui/Moloka’i with Cameron..... seriously coolest pilot ever. (Mahalo Cameron!) This might be the most awesome 1 hour of my entire life. Couldn’t say a single negative thing about the entire experience. Do it. Trust me.

Maui Air was a great company to work with. We arrived and they had mistakenly made a scheduling error so we could not fly. However, they wanted to make it right so they upgraded us to a longer flight about an hour later. They even threw in a couple of other perks. The flight itself was gorgeous and Captain Kirk was a super nice and well informed tour guide that made the trip well worth the money. Highly recommend.

Pricy but good service

The flight was great, pilot was very nice.We ordered a 1 hour flight but got 45 by accident. We did get our media package for free as a compensation, but it still sucks we had a short flight.

My husband and I decided to take a helicopter tour so I started researching tour companies and after all the great reviews I called Air Maui. From my first phone call placed until we exited the office every employee was fabulous! Friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and safety first. We were fortunate enough to have Captain Richie who has lived there for 43 years and shared so much history while flying over areas we will never get to explore. I wanted to see waterfalls on our trip and we flew so close to the most amazing ones on another island. In advance, we chose to pay extra to guarantee a seat upfront with the Captain as nobody had booked it already. I would advise this tour over any other tour in Maui. Memories we will never forget!
