I didnt have enough time to look and shop. There is so much culture oozing from the many shops. The are food vendors as well, yummy to my tummy. I brought trinkets, souvenirs, decor, clothing and a hand bag. I just couldnt decide, there was so much to choose from. The island beauty is represented in many of the items.
For some reason tomatoes are extremely expensive in Maui. $4 for four. But at this market, it was only $4 for 10. I loaded up on fruits and vegetables. The golden pineapples were $3 here versus $8 in Kauai. They taste very fragrance and delicious. There is an entrance fee of $0.50 per person, free for kids. Parking is easy and abundance. Restrooms are portal potties. Lots of clothing shops. About a few groceries tents. Some shave ice and drinks shops. Fun place to spent the Saturday morning. Bring your own bags to carry home the goods.
All tourists to Maui should stop at the Maui Swap Meet! A great place to pick up souvenirs. Stop by the 808 Clothing booth and say hi to Julio and Renee. They sell the best shirts and hats, all sizes and colors for a great price. Also a great place to pick up metal pictures. Many different photographers to pick from and the best price on the island.
A lot of cool shops. Great local food! All kinds of cool trinkets from Maui. Very cool little flea market.
I love this place. Great prices on local things. You can always grab a bargain. Large variety of items for sale. The hard working locals always make you feel welcome.
Huge swap meet or Flea market or whatever you want to call it.Costs only 50 cents to get in and there are spots for over 600 vendors. You find food, drink, snack, vegetable, clothing, jewelry, art and a whole whack of other goods, services and products here.Something different to fill up a couple hours if time.
If you can find it, its worth the drive. The50c admission price is more charming than anything, and theres plenty of stuff, from apparel to souvenirs, at discounted prices. Be sure to grab a bite from one of the local food trucks in the back.
Huge selection of crafts and souvenirs along with a great selection of local food including Maui grown produce!
Lots of friendly, local vendors! Bring your sweet tooth
The Swap Meet is amazing. Our guests love it. A great place to save $$$ on souvenirs and vegetables. So many vendors with so much to offer. .50 to get in. Only open on Saturdays from 7-1...Go early!!!!
Go every year to this market.Love the local art .
SO much great stuff here and the coconuts are not to be missed! There is even a booth with kids science kits and a dinosaur. We tried the ice pops and bought most of our souvenirs for our friends back home from here.
A lot of booths. Great craftmanship. Truly unique pieces. Then some that were mass produced.
Super fun flea market and Farmers market on Saturday mornings. There are a few food trucks, coffee stands, lemonade made with organic cane juice, as well as farm stands with lots of fresh fruit and veg. In addition to souvenirs and t-shirts and Beach cover ups, there are artisans with jewelry, hand carved pendants and statues, hand-turned wooden bowls, gorgeous photography, potters.... Really a mix of everything. 50 cents to get in. So fun!
Fun day of shopping. Many wonderful items for just about everyone you could possibly know.
Great finds from local artists.
So much fun stuff, real Hawaiin shirts, art from Maui. Cool, soft tee shirts with hawiian images. Great food, fresh juices and smoothies. And lots of small fun gifts and do dads for your friends back home.
Great Maui Swap Meet. Great place to get souvenirs.
Not a flea market, lot of vendors though! Market is open even on rainy days. Price decent compared to rest of the island, definitely not at the level of flea market. Lot of wooden crafts, jewelry etc, less of farmer’s market/produce.
A beautiful side for buy souvenirs
I love going to place. I always fine something good at a good price. While your there try the food. Its great. Get there early. It gets crowded fast.
We love this expo. However, today we got caught in the rain. And oh what a rain it was. Sadly the vendors were packing up to close down because the walk ways flood. Oh well, maybe next time.
There are so many vendors. You can get just about anything, fresh fruits and vegetables, brownies, lemonade, crafts, cloths, amazing hammocks, fresh coconuts, jewelry, bags and some amazing art work. Its is also super convenient with tons of parking and it only costs fifty cents to enter.
We love this market and always make it a focal of our Saturdays in Maui. There certainly is a lot of junk, but there is also just enough great local food and art and produce that it makes it all worth coming. Often rainbow views. Today even the locals were on awe. Favorite are the samosas and also fresh squeezed sugar cane juice with passion fruit.
Amazing flea market with tons of great deals! Many of the items I saw here were a higher price in other places on the island. Plus, theres a malasada truck!
We call it the swap meet. I buy all of my fresh veggies there which are organic and great prices. Also lots of jewelry, clothing, plants etc. Just fun to walk around. You can get home made food there too.
Highly recommended for all your souvenir needs. Less expensive than other parts of the island and a lot of selection. If youre looking for stuff thats actually made in Maui make sure to ask the vendors though, because a lot of the woodwork is made in Southeast Asia and sent over, even though they claim to personally oversee the process.
We buy most of our produce at the Maui Swap Meet every Saturday! Go early if you want a good selection and to avoid the crowds, be aware that the prices go up in January, substantially from November. Also great shopping for jewelry, food items, unusual finds and Hawaiian style clothing. If you arrive after 8am, it may appear as though theres limited parking, but if you drive up front where you think youre least likely to find a spot, there will be many open spaces! (People who arrived early, leave early)
An awesome way to kill a morning on Saturday. Great deals and cool trinkets, good food vendors and an OK small farmers market. Remember you can usually haggle a good deal with some of the shop vendors.
Lots of vendors with lots of products to enjoy. Great foods but not a lot of places to seat.
Finally made it after many years of visiting Maui. Great selection of many artists works - many displayed by the artists themselves. Jewelry, clothes, ceramics, photography, historical maps, trinkets/touristy momentos, fresh flowers, various food vendors ...Glad I went. Its a must-do when visiting the island. Every Saturday morning - 7 to noon at the Maui Arts and cultural center. And a lot of Aloha going on.Mahalo
Great market, lots of fresh local produce, and a broad assortment of local carvings, jewellery, art, clothing. Perfect location for it and admission is 50 cents only. Market is Saturdays from 7 am - 1 pm only.
Lots to see and buy. Easy to get to lots of parking.
Great place to get well priced local goods: Produce, art, crafts, etc. Some junk but also some great finds and worth a stop. Good spot for gifts, and many vendors here own stores on island or sell their products to the stores. *Full disclosure, Im sometimes a vendor here :)
Such wonders! Great vendors, some even give out samples. The selection is mostly your typical street fair goodies, but what a great way to spend a few hours.
Maui Swap Meet is a Saturday morning must. It only costs 50 cents to get in. Great tourist gifts, and fun food. I always have to buy malasadas. Theres also spam musubis, shave ice, kettle corn, and lots of fruits and veggies. Theres usually a food truck for something more substantial. I mainly go for all the great jewelry.
This is a great place to find fresh fruit and vegetables and lots of unique gift shopping.
We go to the swap meet every time we visit Maui. Great variety and the vendors are so nice.
Great place to buy and sell local products. I myself sell darts and accessories there.
Go early in the morning or itll be super hot in the afternoon. Lots of cool stuff but not much of a bargain.
Fantastic place to see many crafts and things all about Maui!
If you cant find it here, then Maui doesnt have it. Get here early for the best produce 50 cent entry with kids under 12 free. So even if you dont find anything it is definitely worth 50 cents for entertainment value just seeing all the stuff available to buy.
From shopping for produce to massage services, the Maui swap meet has it all. Its a great place for locals and tourists alike.
This is the LARGEST Saturday market Ive been to and everyone was so kind and helpful. Get there early so to beat the heat! Tons of great gifts to bring home!
The kids loved getting their souvenir shopping knocked out here. A great assortment of local vendors.
Fun way to spend a Saturday. Great artist venue.
If you have an opportunity to be in Maui on a Saturday and Love local produce and fruit, you must come here! Best prices you will find on the island for produce and fruit and you will find produce here that wont be found in Safeway, food land, Costco, or whole foods! Like calamansi (lemon/lime/orange) great for dressings or freshly squeezed over grilled meats. And they also have vendors that sell jams, tshirts, and souvenirs.
The swap meet is every Saturday morning near the Maui Airport from 7 oclock to about 1 oclock although best is 7 - 11 great place to get everything from made on Maui Gifts 2 Farmers Market vegetables fresh tropical flowers and so much more it only cost $0.50 to get inside and theres a whole bunch of a dollar tables to the more expensive very very popular
Best place to get souvenirs. Good prices and I always pick up a hand carved tiki from Tau.
Nice place to pickup souvenirs although some stuff is over priced.
Fun place for high prices souvenirs. Lots of neat craft items. Lots of produce. Brings LOTS of cash!!
Love going here everyones so nice. Lot of different things to choice from.
Good prices and friendly people
Only cost 0.50 cent to get in. Lots of vendors, but a lot of them are selling the same things.
Fun market. Go early for the best deals. Great place to find souvenirs.
Decent amount of choices - cozy...noticeably smaller than the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet on Oahu, very easily walkable and can be done in one hour if you speed through it.
Selling at the Swap meet has been a great experience
Good for both locals and tourists. Fun shopping with clean settings
Best on island. Great prices and great selection. Wish it ran all weekend
Met awesome people here, make sure you get some fresh coconut from the coconut man.
Great place to get your local exotic fruit!! $0.50 to get in. Free parking.
Fun little stop for lots of gifts and decor, jewelry, shave ice, fresh fruit and more. Go early because it gets HOT. It costs 50 cents to enter, which is nothing here on Maui.
Best Farmers Market on Maui, best produce selection and prices direct from farmers. This is the place for produce if you have time to come on Saturday. If your looking for gifts there is everything from cheap imports that say Maui to very nice items direct from artisans / crafters at lower prices than you would find in the stores (inside tip- this is where stores on Maui come to shop for local items). Cut out the middle man and get the savings yourself. Not uncommon to find the same items in stores around Maui at much higher prices.Another tip, Maui Swapmeet is not so much like a mainland Swapmeet with used items for sale and such. More of a large framers market and craft fair. If your looking for used items for sale like the mainland this aint the place for you. You are most likely to find silver sterling jewelry / new items than that 50 year old Hawaiian collectible that had been sitting in uncles garage .
This is the it farmers market, arts and craft market, and flea market on Maui at this moment. It may not be big compared to some of the markets on the mainland, but its the biggest on Maui. Come here to meet the local farmers and artisans and enjoy a great morning where youll sure to find something to take home with you. Fresh produce, local flowers, food trucks, shaved ice, and artisan bakers abound in this quintessential Maui market. There is an entrance fee of 50 cents per person. The market is open at 7 am and starts to get busy at about 9:30 am. Be sure to bring water and sun screen with you as it gets pretty hot by 10 am. At 1 pm the market is closed but some vendors pack up and leave by 12 noon if they sell out their goodies. Cash is the easiest method of payment at this market. There is plenty of parking but be careful not to park in the wrong parking lot (one thats right next to the Swap Meet with a security booth - it belongs to the condo building) where you may have to pay $50 to the security guard before they remove the clamp they put on your car tire.
Best place to get a souvenir gift. or great snacks
The swap meet is a fun and social event to go to. So many crafts to choose from, and lets not forget about the ono food!
This was a fun shopping experience. There was a purse/bag i still eish i had bought there.
Good entertainment on a Saturday morning and only 50 cents to get in.
Too many new items. If you are looking for vintage items not the place for you.
This place is fantastic. People are very nice and professional. You can get great souvenirs for excellent prices. There is ample free parking. There is an admission fee of 50 cents. Many talented local artists. We had the best ice cream- coconut with lime (yummy!). As we were looking at candles, we smelled fresh popping kettlecorn- Im a popcorn fan and I have to say this was the super best popcorn I ever had. There is a sweet lady who sells baked goods. She sells freshly baked mango bread (loaf), passionfruit bread (loaf) and other items. We just loved her passionfruit bread. All her bread is made with fresh fruits. She was very sweet and her prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend to stop at her booth. There is a $1 booth with some great souvenirs ( 6 items for $5). There are soaps with loofah and these are excellent. Loved for my sensitive skin. Great selections of t-shirts and bags. Tons of souvenirs. There is also local foods there such as Loco Moco. We went early. It gets busy around 930 am. It does get very hot there so earlier is the best. Walking shoes, hat and sunscreen are highly recommended. Enjoy!
Excellent market on Saturday morning, Local artist
Huge selection of handcrafted goods, friendly faces and happy vibes!
Fun stuff to shop for great tacos
Fun
Amazingly fresh produce and fruits. May seem a little disorganized if you are a visitor as you may find food shops next to a clothing shop.
Good for few hours try the food
Loved it
Lots of vendors, parking and yummies :-)
Come early!
Fantastic!! Great Time!!!!
OK, nothing special
Great place to find souvenirs
Just my kind of place!
