Nice place to visit. I just moved to johnstown and this is the first place i found. i took my kids and i loved it. They have a nice little kids playground and a picnic area also.

Awesome day of weather for our vendors event outdoors, was alot of fun.

My kids and I love it here. Its peaceful, relaxing, scenic with hiking trails and whitewater rafting/kayaking. Picnic pavilions and fire rings with lots of open space. Even has a nice playground for kids or adults alike.

Absolutely lovely place if u desire some peace and quiet. Fortunately I was the only person there so it was peaceful and refreshing. Love the stream flow (water super clean and cold!) and pretty big ground suitable for camping although no overnight camping is allowed. There was some construction happening and no specific place to park but made it work. Definetly a place to stop by.

Lovely park with pavilions, playground and clean bathrooms. Convenient place to put in for floating on the Stoney Creek.

Such a cool local gem. With the improved water quality in the Stonycreek this place is going to continue growing. Conservation and whitewater releases from the Quemahoning make it possible to score great whitewater on a schedule. The developing upstream tailwater fishery will further enhance recreational opportunities. Check out Benscreek Canoe Club for more details. Great greenspace. Good parking. Nice restrooms. Close to a local watering hole with good eats. Trek upstream for some recreational paddling and hiking at Quemahoning Lake.

Its so lovely and peaceful. The grounds were clean and spacious. The water... well you just have to be there.

Very nice but need to allow camping other than bikers for thunder in the valley n select kayaking events,not fair to the general public

Greenhouse Park is a great place to cool off and have fun. Just a word of caution, though. Its helpful to wear water shoes or some kind of foot protection. There are rocks on the river bottom and they can be rough on your feet.

This is a great park! Fun events are held here every year, like the Stoneycreek Rendezvous, a festival celebrating white water kayaking. Worth attending. Great place to go swimming, rafting, or kayaking on your own as well!!Only 3 stars because this park does not allow dogs.

I love that they have finally put in real bathrooms! Theyre great! The whitewater park is amazing too! Its the reason Ill drive 5 hours to come play.

I go there on occasion it is a really nice place. Has pavillons, fire places, changing area, toilets, and a really nice river to go swimming in.

It was great in the summer then they changed the water flow somehow now you cant swim. I guess better for rafters and kayaking.

We rented a pavilion for a birthday party. We were close to a playground, the bathrooms and enjoyable scenic view.

Super nice park. The pavilions are well built and HUGE! The whitewater park was a great place to get comfortable in the water.

I went for the Rec the Alleghenies Active Expo and was impressed with the event and the park. Hope they hold more family events there. Its great. Weather didnt change that.

Park is great for events. Plenty of room for people and parking. Some cool spots to hang out near the river if youre anti-social too.

Use to be a family place for everyone to enjoy but since they made the river deeper and stronger you cant swim there which takes away from the enjoyment in the area.

This is a small Township Park with picnic pavilions, lots of open space and most importantly, an artificial whitewater park built by a local canoe and kayak club. It is free to use and a great place for whitewater kayakers to practice their skills.
