Nice memorials purple heart, gold star mothers, vietnam, buy a brick for a veteran. Very nice walkway built by volunteers and volunteer veterans. Vietnam nurse memorial also and others.

Traxler Park has always been one of my favorites. I grew up here there are many parks this one is amazing. With Veterans Memorial that will make you pause and or cry. Also home of one of the best water ski shows the Rock Aqua Jays are National Champions the kids will love it. Nice boat landing for whatever you want put in the water. And of course its very good fishing for whatever your skill level. Enjoy and please help keep it clean theres garbage cans everywhere.

The park in itself is a nice place... the bathrooms are absolute garbage. The bathrooms are the surrounding spiders mansions...

When I run my RC Car there, there not much to do but there a playgroud there and is kinda boring but I had fun

Really cool park. They had the Renaissance festival there. It was super fun and we they had a lot of unique shows, food and vendors for shopping.The park itself is awesome with the Veteran Memorial. It was done very well.The water shows they put on during the summer time is also worth a watch!Pokemon Go players, definitely a place to go to walk around. Lots of stops and a couple of gyms.

Come here to see the rock aqua jays whenever I can! They put on an amazing show every week and my son loves playing at the park.

Great place to visit! I just recently went to the ski show. It was amazing, and free! However, like most places its not the best. But it comes very close. When I visited the show, there was a very family-friendly fun environment. The people were great, and the food was not overpriced. It was a very clean area too! A place where you could definitely take your whole family! 9/10

The park seemed to be clean and well cap. The flower garden in front of it though aqua jays building is beautiful. There seems to be a nice play area for children .

Open, expansive riverfront park with a nice military veterans memorial. Has riverside access and lagoon areas for fishing and is home of the Rock Aqua Jays, a national award-winning show ski team.

Good fishing over all a very nice park

Quiet on the week days always something going on weekends. People curb your dogs. Keep an eye on your kids. More police patrol would be helpful.

What a wonderful spot! If you seek nature...you got it. If its activity youre looking for...you are covered too. And if youre really lucky you get a close spot to see the water ski show!

Lots to do at this park. Plenty of well maintained jungle gym equipment, a bunch of Pokemon Go stops for those who play, and in the summer there are fairs, events, and the water ski team puts on shows & practices in the area. There are also picnic tables available for use as well as sand volleyball courts if that side of the park doesnt flood.

The events that are put on here are amazing and fun for families to enjoy. The park in itself is calming and exciting for people of all ages.

A gorgeous open park that regularly hosts local events. Its surrounded by water with a boat launch and has ample parking. The local water skiing team is based here along with a beautiful veterans memorial.

The rocks around the eternal fire in the veterans memorial are falling out of place. They need more picnic tables around the lagoon. But the park is a still a beautiful place to relax.

This park is situated between the river and a man made lagoon. It has plenty of parking, open grassy areas, a pleasant bathroom, a sand volleyball court, and a well appointed playground. It is the site of regular water ski performances through the summer and has permanent bleachers facing the river to watch the show.

Solid park in the city of Janesville, great parking, good access.Lots of green space and easy access to the Rock River and the Lagoon for fishing.Good family place.

Nice park with amazing river views. If you are going for an event make sure you go early as parking can be very horrendous. It has nice volleyball courts and playgrounds as well as being a great place for events.

I would have had a better experience and have stayed longer if there were bathroom facilities available. Restrooms were closed and not even an portable outhouse.

Nice park. We were there for a birthday party. The pavilion was used for the party. The kitchen area could use a brighter light bulb.

Many great memories from this park growing up in Janesville as a kid. Memories of watching fire works here as a little kid with family members no longer with us. Watching the Aqua Jays shows. Ice skating playing hockey with my best friend C. Anderson as kids on cold wisconsin nights. To hanging out there on late hot summer nights in the early 90s as teenagers with girls, swimming, making out, making great kid memories.

Beautiful water ski show.

The rented pavilion was clean, with useful amenities. The park was clean with a nice playground for children.

Good fishing in early spring and late fall.
