Rockport Park

Its a nice park and I love mountain biking here. My only complaint is there are constantly hikers with unleashed dogs on the trails. Ive had my share of dogs come after me and snip at me while trying to enjoy the trails.

Really beautifully done park! Even the playground has stunning artwork added to it. The message this park sends is one of unity and peaceful coexistence, literally written on the walls.

This is a perfect park for everyone. There are trails,swimming pools. Beautiful playground good vision points to watch your little ones. Or just relax in a lot of open areas.

Had graduation dinner with my granddaughter and family. Cant get much better than that.

I never really go to the playground area as I dont have any kids, one time me and some friends went at night so it wouldnt be crowded bc it is basically ALWAYS crowded during the day (even with the whole covid-19 stuff it was super crowded which worried me a bit but the trails are literally never crowded) to use the swings and I walked around the playground and if i was a kid id of probably had a blast. However the part I go back for is the skiing/hiking/biking trails. They are my main go to if I wanna hike on a trail somewhere other than on the one I live by, theres tons of variety in the trails and theres a couple bridges with really pretty streams the only thing that worries me is bugs cuz its by water and some dense foliage off to the edges of the trails so I always load up on bug spray before going as I never go during the cold season when the bugs would be gone

Great themed park with a pool next door

Few communities offer such a high quality swimming venue. Ill admit my shock to discover a 10 foot or higher springboard dive pool. Wow! Impressive. Nostalgic as our hometown had one I used as a youth. Thank you city of Janesville!

Favorite park in the area by FAR!

Decent park. The trails surrounding it are better though. The park itself had a very strong smell of urine.Has a lot of poke stops and gyms though for those avid pokemon go players.But if you want to be out and about with your kids, I would definitely check out the trails.

Something for everyone. Nice playground and trails for hiking, walking, and running.

First time visiting and it was great. My 4 year old godson absolutely loved it. It was so much for him to do. Next time we will visit the pool right next to the park. I believe it is $3.50 for adults.

Its nice for the walk the park are for the children nice only if there not older kids in the play are now in days those kids dont respect they get on the kids swings and dont let them on there should be police watching out so that they dont break them you politely ask them to please the children play they f you there language is very bad so we end up lieving even if we were there first then they dont respect there elders

Kids love this place but Equipment could use updates, some dangerous areas from lack of upkeep on playground itself.

Nice clean pool with high and low diving boards, nice playground, and decent mountain biking trails. Trails are reasonably well kept, with plenty of elevation change. No super long climbs or downhill sections though, good for intermediate riders. Mostly open, fast and flowing, not a lot of rocky or technical riding

Rockport pool is super fun for summer days.

8 miles of trail, right in the city. Some single track bike trail and some wider ski trail. Quiet and peaceful. Two small streams run through with bridges crossing over them four times. Deer, hawks and depending on time of day owls.

Its a fun park. They have a smaller play area for the younger ones, and a nice big one for the older kids.. And they have nice spacious pavilion, great for parties/ gatherings

Expansive trail system and very cool tepee

Great play area for all age kids, outdoor public pool. Native American theme for most of the park and smaller boat theme play area for younger kids, lots of benches around the play area along with the pavilion but not much shade other then that. Would love to have an enclosed off-leash dog area there then it would be perfect.

This park has a rubber bed. No dirty sand or wood chips. The only part the kids can play at in the spring that they wont come home covered in mud!

Great park! Our 7, 4 and 2 year old grandchildren had a blast.

Rockport pool is great I guess if you absolutely have to go swimming. And if you feel you absolutely have to take your kids there. But the problem with public pools is they attract all walks of life. Both our vehicle and the lady parked next to us were broken into. Wont go near this scum bag trap ever again.

Great place for the kids! Lots of land, two different parks, pool, soccer fields.

Our favorite park in Janesville. Lots of different things for kids to do, lots of space to play! The road to the park is closed in the winter months, though you can park and walk over to it using the Ice Age trail.

Small short trails through the woods but extends along the river for a greater distance. Connects to Peace Park

As ive said before; this is the best parl around and its all made possible by donations and volunteers. This is proof that a community can come together and run things more efficiently than a beaurocracy.

I love this park. Nice and open. Big field for Frisbee and football. Theres also a firepit.

Fun park with an impressive wooden tepee-themed structure, a great childrens playground, a spacious pavilion, an outdoor pool, and plenty of space. Wish we had something just like it in my neighborhood!
