Me and my hubby went for a drive and stop at Jamestown. I ask him to take me to see Lucy sculpture. Nice place to visit. This is where Lucille Ball grew up. I hated the sculpture that they had at first there. Didnt look anything like her. Then they place the old sculpture with a new updated that really looks like Lucille. I Loved watching all her shows when I was young.

I think if Lucy was here today, she would make us all feel better about ourselves. Two statues greet those loyal. One of her is offering Vitameatavegamin and hideous: a Lucy none knows. If I were King for the day, one of her stomping the grapes into wine would be forged.

Statue is in a cute little park by the water. Theres a playground nearby. Bathrooms are only open seasonally. Not a lot to see, but its a fun little stop!

Nice little park on the shore of Chautauqua Lake. Two Lucy statues, scary Lucy and pretty Lucy. Its a nice stop if your in the area.

Lucille Ball was born in Jamestown, New York. This statue replaces an earlier one that the community did not like. She is also buried in town and a museum named for her is also here.
