The only place i know you can get a whole meal plus a beer for under $10. The staff is amazing and the food is delicious. WOULD RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE.

Decided to stop in and try something different besides the regular food spots in Jacksonville and boy was I pleased! The food was great and the beer COLD! If you like pinball machines, good food and a nice cold one, then stop in! You wont be disappointe!

This place is a nice, clean and fun authentic hot dog place. The staff is super friendly, clean place and the hot dogs are delicious. They have arcade games and cold beer.. every week they change three of their craft beers. I haven’t seen my husband this happy in so long. He barely even siloed his second beer because he was busy playing the pinball machines .. too cute.. support this business it’s great!!

The owner was there actually working with his employees. Walked in and immediately got greeted. Asked if we had been there before and then was handed a sample from tap (after checking IDs if course). A definite gem in Jacksonville! The Gone AWOL Cafe is a must add to your list of family friendly places...the establishment is extremely clean, the staff is helpful and very attentive and there is a large selection of games/food (and beer)! Reasonably priced! Veteran owned!Side note...before we added this stop to my daughter’s birthday itinerary we messaged Gone AWOL on Facebook, their response time was impeccable and they were happy to answer a plethora of weird helicopter parent questions.Thank you for bringing this much needed spot to our community.

I had the pleasure of going here for lunch last week with a good friend. I got a cheese hot dog with onions and jalapeños my friend got a club sandwich. The food was great and affordable prices too! The young gentleman that helped us was so nice and very polite! I definitely recommend stoping in for lunch. They also serve beer have a arcade next door that’s probably open now and a gun shop on the other side. Check it out you won’t be disappointed

First time attending establishment with some friends and it was a blast. Prices were fair and the staff was super friendly felt like I’ve known them years. Also aesthetically pleasing to just sit at and enjoy some brewskies with the boos.

Always a good atmosphere. Foods good and so is the beer. I also work next store and I love that someone delivers my food to where I am.

This place is beyond amazing. The food is extremely delicious (I dont eat hot dogs that often, and their Devil Dog left me wanting another), and we also tried the Jarhead (their reuben) which did not disappoint. The potato salad is the best I have ever tasted. While you wait for your food, definitely play some pinball or the other arcade games. This reminded me of childhood ventures to a local restaurant that had a similar setup, and Im happy to take more trips down memory lane with Gone AWOL Cafe.One of my favorite parts is the employees are all military veterans, and everything pays tribute to the military in some way. Thank you, Gone AWOL staff, for your service, and thank you for the excellent service during our visit.

The Young Ladies that served me were are Very Nice and Very Friendly. The Hot Dogs were phenomenal and the beer was perfectly cold. Will definitely be eating there again, soon.
