Great area with lots of open spaces. Done my kids birthdays here a couple of times and never had an issue. Great for photoshoots, walking, riding bicycles even.

The park is great and is full of poke stops for pokemon go players. As of August 1st the playground is wrapped in caution tape for an unstated reason. Hopefully it can be reopened soon

This park was great. It had a little bit of everything. The best part were the clean restrooms. As a mother of two little boys, a clean bathroom made our visit to the park even better.

Very nice little city park. It is perfect for kids with a good sized playground and generally kept very clean and manicured. They have interesting garden sections dedicated to different regions of the United States and a small meditation maze pattern out of stone. There are paved walkways criss crossing the park with dog poop bag dispensers to walk your furry friend and public bathrooms. It also has covered picnic tables, a grassy field, a small amphitheatre for live music and a pond fountain across the street. Be careful of goose poop near the fountain however.

My grandson loves this playground! Over the hill is a huge pond with fish and turtles with a huge water spout! NICE FOR PICS...

The city does an amazing job of keeping this area clean and also informational! Love the new signs around the walking path too!

My boys love the park. There are stations describing the plants from around the Country. Wish there was the same for local wildlife. We saw many birds, squirrels and butterflies. Would have been nice to identify them all.

Ddnt explore this park to much because there are caution signs everywhere about poisonous snakes. there was alot of huge mosquitoes and bugs if your a nature person you will love it. I lasted 20 minutes lol

This is a lovely park! There is a large walking path and a pretty fountain/pond with turtles and geese often hanging around! There is a nice playground for young children with a small free book exchange nearby. There is a small covered pavilion at one end and just down the road there are several more. Its well maintained and has a pretty landscape. Its a nice park!

Stumbled upon this park and it was a great find! Kids love it. Great for all ages. Very unique. If you have kids in the area its a must that you bring them. Great for dog walking as well which I love.

An absolute blast. Its the only park that Ive taken my children to that actually replaces broken parts on the park.

Was nice but I have a service dog who walks off lead and responds to hand signs and voice. So wont be gong back there

The park itself is nice, as is the playground. There was, however, an issue with the restroom. The girls room was out of paper towels(not a problem) the boys room, however was nasty. The were human feces ALL OVER the sink. This is not fantastic with a family of little boys who have yet to learn how to keep their hands off of things. Yall, its a family park, lets keep it clean.

Peaceful and nice layout. Bathroom is always clean. Can even feed the Canadian geese and other birds

Nice big clean Park directly across from the recreation center and senior center. I only wish the bathrooms were as clean and maybe a little closer. Its a long way to walk when a little one has to potty.

The kids play area is good size. It also got a climbing wall, its clean and the walking paths around the water are nice.

This is a nice park to walk the dog, the only reason for four stars is because it is often crowded and surrounded by busy roads.

Lots of walking space. Playground kinda needs some work, a few things are broken. It would be nice if there was more for younger toddlers to do.

Very peaceful park. Beautiful trail to walk your dog or go jogging in the morning. Close to Starbucks so if you want to walk from the park and go get a drink and walk back to the park its a very short walk. Love the scenery and there is a kids park on the other side of the bridge so if you have kids it is very convenient.

Definitely a great family park with enough room for many types of recreation. Its trails for walking can be hazardous in some areas though due to sudden level changes in the ground so be weary while running on them!

Bring some bread. Carp and turtles will come right up to the bank to eat it. Water fountain is also very relaxing if you just want to sit on the benches.

If you play pokemon go this the one of the best places to go to for stops and gyms

Nice area to chill, parking lot is a little small, but walking around is not exhausting at all, which is great.

This is one of the parks that my kids seem to really enjoy. Also,it is a great place to play Pokemon Go. It is nice and quiet. You can really appreciate the scenery here.

This park is beautiful. They have people landscaping and cleaning it up every other day. It has a lot of poke stops and gyms. Theres also a duck that follows all the geese around. The ampatheatre is mediocre but has a nice view.

I came out to this park to go geocaching. This is one of the nicest parks in the area and I never knew it was here. All of the amenities, disc golf, boat launch and many other activities. Head out here and have a good time with the family.

We love this park. Two kids, 6 and 8 years old. They always want to go there.

My daughter loves the park here. It can get over run my pogo players and they leave no places for parking which is infurating when you have an infant in a stoller and have to walk across the street with two kids. The bathrooms are never fully stocked but usable. The plants are beautiful in bloom. Short nice path to walk on. The turtles in the pond at the amphitheatre are a hit for smaller children.

I love taking my son to this park! We also like to watch the ducks at the pond across the street! I have yet to see the new outdoor amphitheater but during the summer Ill be sure to check it out!

Good place to bring the kids to play and play Pokemon go on Wednesdays for raids.. the amphitheater as has shows once a month.

Park is ok ...except in the summer. The bugs are in full force and theres not a lot of places for parents to sit...some things need to be fixed. But, the atmosphere is positive and havent had any problems with anyone. Parking is limited so be aware

Great area to walk around. There is a labyrinth, a play area with swings for children, grassy areas for picnics and pets, restrooms, covered picnic tables. Across the street there is a fountain and small pond as well. Just beware of the geese, they have no fear of people OR vehicles.

Nice clean park, could use some more apparatus for the kids. Very enjoyable.

This my kids favorite park in town Jacksonville. I like the ground rubber under equipment best!!Plus two or three years ago roughly had to replace some of the park. Updated park of safe and concerned for kids.

Great little park. Wish I had taken some pictures. It is green with walking trails (paved). Ducks were there the day I was and that made it all the more special. If you need sometime to yourself this may be the place for you.
