This is a beautiful park. There is a lot of ducks. It’s located at five points so it’s cool if you also want to walk around the neighborhood. Riverside has a lot to offer.

Its great for everything! Big/Small seperate dog parks, Beautifully shaded, Restrooms within blocks of 5 points. Pack a lunch or grab a bite at the various restaurants, cafes, food trucks & shopping.

Beautiful family friendly park. Well kept and very open with plenty of bench seating along with a childrens playground.

It’s a nice place after having a cup of coffee right across the street. There are so many ducks and they will hunt you down!

Kiddos always enjoy this park. It could use a face lift but Im sure one day that will happen. Until then there is always kids there and its always a good time.

Its beautiful and peaceful. Kids enjoyed the playground. You can easily keep an eye on them and relax at the same time

Park needs more clean-up from bird debris. Lake water looks stagnant, and benches are in need of maintenance. Lovely area in need of more TLC.

For the most part this park is clean, however the pond is ridiculously filthy. The city needs to be cleaning the pond regularly. The grass is always cut, not a lot of litter around the park, plenty of space to social distance, basket ball court is clean and the hoops are in working order, plenty of seating, enough parking, dog park is spacious and clean, kids play area is big and has several activities, and an open field for more family oriented activities. My only problem is the filth in the pond, and the park not being fenced in enough around the busy street. We still visit this park regularly, but it needs a bit of tlc.

Such nice people visit this park from all walks of life. My grandson enjoys feeding the ducks and my 7yr old son always finds a nice friend to play with.

Good sized park. Lots of equipment to play on. A great place to take your kids to get the wiggles out.

I took a beautiful night stroll at this park last Wednesday while waiting for my table at a nearby place to eat. The lights seemed to dim this to an almost magical place. The birds hanging out in the pond, kids still enjoying the last of the daylight and the lights turning on through out the park and church nearby helped this evening to begin just right.

Love this park..never over crowded...you can sit or walk around the actually play area for exercise and actually still keep an eye on your kid...thats a Win

I love taking my dog to this dog park. Well shaded lots of areas for the doggos to run. There is water available on tap. There are actually two parks one for large dogs 35 lbs and up and then one for small dogs. If theres any downside people dont always follow the rules I have been in the park when large dogs 50 pounds or more have been in the small dog area. Since there is no one there to police the park if you do show up with a small dog if you dont feel comfortable letting your dog in your just out of luck

This is a great little park to take a dog or a kid or just go walk around. Theres a lot of benches and sidewalks to walk around the pond or through the garden. Theres a playground that usually had a good number of children for social interaction and a fenced off dog park divided between big and small dog sections. There are water fountains for hydration on hot days and its so close to give points with all the shops and restaurants to enjoy.

We really like this park. It has 2 playgrounds (one for toddlers and one for older kiddos), the duck pond, and a big green space for climbing, running, and playing ball. I took ONE star away because theres NO public bathroom-- not even a port-a-pottie! Boo!There quite a few homeless people who arent always friendly with families or are too friendly.Wed definitely come more often if there was a bathroom.

I grew up around here, love coming back every chance I get especially now that I have a child of my own. Always a nice and pleasant experience. People are nice, the landscape is always good, minimum trash if any at all, great kids park to go to with plenty for the kids to play on as well! Love riding my bike here. The whole family can enjoy the atmosphere and vibe!

This park could use some TLC, but kids will play just about anywhere.

Wow...Im 73 raised on the Westside and forgot this was even here...what a great nostalgic moment....

We saved a mother duck and her four chicks. A couple of herons had chased them out of the park. We we more than happy to escort them back to the other side where they were safe from the traffic.

Im sure at one time the park was nice but it is not maintained and is filthy with garbage.

How do I say this correctly? The park itself needed a little tlc in the form of lawn maintenance. Having to avoid piles of manure with toilet paper on top was the true bummer. Maybe a few portalets would make an improvement.

Beautiful trees and setup, but the place had trash everywhere and the pond was dirty.

Trash needs to be emptied more often. Frequently cans get over full and then trash starts to spill and spread around the park.

I absolutely love this park. It has a nice size playground for children. My favorite is the pond. I love to run around the pond. Hosting walks at this park has been therapeutic to me. Nice place to relax. Lots of shade and places to lay blankets out for some quality time outdoor. It definitely makes gou forget your smack dab in the middle of a city.

Need to clean it more often. Went there with my son and saw 4 dead birds and there was trash everywhere. If they cleaned it up more often it would be a great park

Hanging out at the pond with the birds waa really nice, bur there was no where too sit, bird poop on the benches and homeless people lying everywhere, them and trash everywhere .too .

I visited the Riverside Park a couple days ago and really enjoyed the scenery and peaceful atmosphere. The playground was kept clean and parking was easily accessible and free. Everyone loved the ducks! Theyre also plenty of shops and resturaunts within walking distance for anyone interested.

My 4yr and I love it. Two playgrounds with toddler swings and regular swings. SlightNature walk fenced fountain with ducks, cranes, and geese. Plenty of seating areas.. I am not sure if theres outside bathrooms, we go to near by restaurants when we go.

Not a bad size, has water available inside the park and outside. It also has dog bags available in case you forgot yours! There are a couple toys left by previous dog owners like balls.

Beautiful park, Bohemian location, near intriguing shopping, lots of room to spread out your celebration; would suggest older children with stranger-danger comprehension and keeping a well-trained eye on them. Great place for late teens to twenties and emos. Park your car in front of one of the businesses to prevent theft. Keep an eye out for the Anachronistic Society!

My son enjoyed feeding the ducks. There are a few stray people the may be around so always keep an close eye on your babies. Best to go when its not so hot.

Beautiful park and nice playground in the heart of Riverside. My parents were married here (not the playground, of course :P ) in 1980, and now i get to bring my kids here. Has a special place in my heart

Awesome large pretty park near Five Points

This is a beautiful park whether you choose to sit quietly on a bench and contemplate or enjoy a power walk.

Beautiful park in the heart of Riverside. Large pool in the middle filled with ducks. Ducks roam the park. Benches placed strategically around a path for joggers. Area for basketball with a dog park adjacent. Highly recommend for a relaxed sojourn.

Its a 5 with out all of the homeless people. They look intimidating even if they are harmless, I dont recommend for the family.

A great place to walk around and enjoy the day. If you’re into Pokémon Go there are several pokestops and gyms. There’s plenty of wide open spaces, places to sit and playground equipment for the youngsters. A great place to walk off some calories after grabbing a bite in 5 points.

This park offers a beautiful playground for children small and old. The equipment is not covered so during the afternoon it can get pretty hot. On the contrary there are a lot of benches and trees to sit under that provide a nice place to relax. There is a big pond thats gated. You can find turtles swimming and a variety of birds. There are paved sidewalks throughout the park. Riverside park is one of my favorite parks to visit in Jacksonville

Decent enough park. The trees are lovely. The pond is dirty and nasty looking. Polluted. There are these interesting chicken-looking creatures that wander the park.

Pretty urban park with duck pond and playground. A little noisy from the highway. Lots of great events throughout the year. Love the Veg Fest with a Bohemian touch.

We brought the kids here for a picnic and play date. There is plenty of open space to run around and play ball. There is also nice playground equipment and swings. Parking can be a pain but its well worth it.

My son loves playing at this playground. Its right next to five points so we can play at the park and then grab a snack and check out the shops.

Plenty of shade and water for you and your pups on a warm Florida day. Park is split in two for big dogs and smaller dogs. They do not sell beer here so your step dad might not be happy he doesnt bring his own. But no one invited him to the park. And no one invited him into this family.

Love sitting and watching the ducks

Nice little park, decent play area for the kids and a cute duck pond in the middle. Lots of goldfish and ducks looking for a handout. Some people in the park doing the same. Couldnt find any ramp or anything for baby ducks to leave the pond, which could result in them drowning, so not cool there.

If youre lucky youll get to see baby ducks in the pond.

The park needs signs or a warden or something regaurding the duck pond. The city. At least needs to post signs regaurding feeding bread to the ducks. It is contaminating the water and contributing to the growth of bacteria and algae. Also, just bread is not healthy for the birds. It just fills them up without giving them the nutrients they need. It isnt a bad park, but it needs work.

Nice greenspot close to downtown. There are a few restaurants close by where you can probably get something to go and eat in the park. Park is nice but there is some trash laying around and the duck pond is alittle dirty. Good place to bring your dogs for a walk.

Park equipment could use a scrub. Once there was a sheriff in the park while we played.

Animals everywhere, good place to hang out with friends. Or by yourself, to make friends.

This is a pretty park, I walk here a lot and play pokemon GO. Overall a great park.

Pretty big play area for the kids

I love going to this park, its always so peaceful and people seem to always be enjoying themselves. From walking, to feeding the ducks, its easily a great experience even if you want to just get out of the house or away from society for a moment. While your here, dont forget to bring a basketball or bring your pupper!!! Theres a dog park beside this park also but thats got its own review!!

Riverside park is a great place for drum circles! Theres plenty of parking and its far enough away from the neighborhood so as not to cause a noise disturbance. There have been lots of drum circles here over the years.

Very peaceful. Took my children 13 and 8. They both enjoyed our walk. We we saw the baby chicks, ducks you can feed, turtles (not snapping tutles) and coy fish. Enjoyed ourselves.

Was here for Veg Fest. Very eclectic!

The vegan festival ay the park was great. Very good products and food.

Dirty. Watch out for duck poo.
