Its awesome at Nichols Green Park. My neighbor & I walk 5 miles every morning Monday Thursday Friday God willing I really enjoy walking there . The trees & paths and every thing around there makes it nice to want too walk there.. We enjoy it the both of us & really enjoy each others company too.Try it youll like it

Great little park. Has good walking paths. They take about 40 minutes to walk around one time. They have two playgrounds for kids. They also have two pavilions to rent out. Their is also a tennis court and a volleyball net. Would definitely recommend coming here.

This is a lovely town park with well-kept trails and a beautiful waterfall. A great place to take family members for a fun and relaxing afternoon.

Beautiful park! It’s well kept, has great walking trails for short or long walks. It was wonderful to get out of the hotel and be out in nature. It was right on the outskirts of town and easy to get to.

Amazing Park in this town. You can go walking, play soccer, basketball, playground, and you can even bring your furry pet friendly in this park!

Great trails love the waterfall wished they have cleaner water u can see an oil puddle on the bottom in a pile also need to clear up some of the trees other than that they have frisbee golf horseshoe setup basketball park and even small courts for jr size kiddos soccer fields. Etc...

Nice trails and such, the splash pad is almost always off with no way to turn it on. Almost all lights are shattered on the pavilions.

Great park! Nice paved trails that are decent length, over 2 miles of paved trails, plus there are dirt trails as well. Pretty waterfall. Well maintained.

Who is this and why you want too know

We went to the splash pad today. Almost 2 year old and 10 year old alike enjoyed the splash pad. Play area is a little lacking or too advanced for the little one (all attached and wanted to go to the big kid slide, with little safety rails) and a little boring for the older. The water features change over time so it keeps their interest. But the grass is Ill kept, the bathrooms were filthy and garbage all over the grass. Plenty of garbage cans. Very sad because it could be an awesome park but with the filth and Ill kept its just okay.

Do not go here for the waterfall! Unless its been raining I guess. The waterfall was nonexistent. Splash pad looks awesome tho.I suppose I just happen to come when there wasnt water there. Not sure how often that happens. Would be nice to be able to have known in advance. The water was stagnant and the grounds were quite trashy along the walk there sadly.

Great place to walk, my daughter loves the splash pad. But there is trash all over the place. Who owns this park? Whoever it is they obviously dont have a clean up crew of some sort. I will help clean up the trash but I didnt put it there. There needs to be more trash cans along the trail.

Lots of space to ride bikes, hike and take the kids to the small summer water-park. Sometimes i even set and watch the soccer plays. Great for daytime use

This park is like a maze. I got lost a couple of times. Yet, the variety of trails is surprising. While at the park for two hours I still had not traveled on all the trails. The waterfall was very scenic and you can go on the top of the waterfall through a dirt trail. Most of the best pictures I got were off trail adding more variety to the park. Also, most of the best trails are off the paved trails and they are very adventurous. I would say that it is the best park I have been to. On a side note, there were lots of trash and some pictures were ruined by that. It would help the atmosphere of the park if the trash was completely eradicated.

This has been the most relaxing place to workout. There are just enough people to feel safe while walking/running. The entire walk is about 2 miles.

A very large Park of a few hundred acres is soccer complexes and areas to go play Frisbee golf as well as a playground and trails to walk on with a beautiful waterfall. The only reason I absolutely every single time.

Nice clean park.

Trails are clear, and the grass is cut, but this park could use some improvements. The baseball fields are washed out and uneven, paths are unlit, . Other than that and the graffiti carved into the bathroom walls, this park is family friendly and fun for the kids in the daylight. Has baseball fields, soccer fields, walking and hiking trails, playgrounds, frisbee golf course, skate park, splash pad, several ponds, pavilions, picnic tables and even a waterfall. Fun place to let the kids play

I carry my grandgirls and nieces and nephews. There and they love it. .. they love the splash pad very well and the parents do too

Try and find the hidden waterfall along the trail! This park is huge I travel an hour just to visit it often. There is so much to do here, you can play in the water area to cool off, there are a variety of courts for plenty of sports from basketball to soccer, football, and baseball. They even have a skate park! Cannot stress how big this place is, you can have relative privacy depending on what trail you are on. I can crack my bullwhips all I want without bothering anyone, I doubt anyone even notices me through the tall trees. A bit of advice, plan ahead where you want to go, if you want to hit up the skate park dont park near the water area or youll be walking for what seems a mile just to reach the other side of the park. Unfortunately I have not been able to find restrooms, and the trails do need to be properly named or at least include maps to help you identify where you are.

This park is huge. I was looking for a shady place to rest between visiting different friends in the area for lunch and dinner. I was intrigued by a users photo of a waterfall, so I decided to visit this place. I found lots of water but no waterfall by the time I had to leave. The place was too big to see it all in my first visit. I will probably make extra time to stop by here whenever I have to go to Jacksonville. The only downside is I wish the sidewalks had labels to tell you what things are in which directions.

Phase 1 definitely needs maintenance and cleaning! Dirt is washed out from around the play area exposing the underside of sidewalks! Pavilion was disgusting, trash cans over running onto the ground, dead limbs laying all over the ground around the pavilion and play area! We had to clean the area before having my grandsons birthday party.

Water pad is fun for the kids but people have no respect for the nice things in this town. Trash is everywhere. SMH its a shame

The foliage was beautiful. I was surprised by and enjoyed the sidewalk. Loved seeing the spring fed creek. The only negative was that so many idiots left their trash everywhere.
