I love the Buckman Bridge usually travel from Orange Park to San Jose (Mandarin) its a fairly decent bridge. Only issue is they stripped the emergency lane for what Im not entirely sure. They only issue is that motorists drive way too fast on the bridge. Overall 10/10.

This bridge is long wide and fast. Plenty of room for a quick run up too 100mph or a nice video fly by. Really good site lines and best if all, most of the slow, bad and just plain in the way drivers stay out of the left 2 lanes. If you get the chance make run during early hours of the day.

Better now since they built the express lane toll lane. Most of the traffic experienced here are from accidents.

This bridge is really nice. Except, it feels like I horseback riding due to the way it dips up and down throughout the entire bridge.

Its a bridge... A way to get over the water. So as far as that goes.. its great. Driving over it at peak hours..different story.

Its part of my daily commute so you begin to love the view at sunrise and sunset.

This bridge is a giant pain. Traffic either flies way too fast or is dead stopped. Needs more lanes or dedicated lanes. Seen way too many accidents and fatalities yet DOT states its a safe bridge. The concrete wall doesnt even come up to my window. Cars have flipped off the bridge and into the water a bunch of times. Worst bridge to have to cross!!!!!

It is part of I 95. When I went over it the traffic wasnt bad but this can be a very dangerous place with heavy traffic and crazy drivers.

This bridge is a traffic nightmare for most people here in Jacksonville. The view from it is beautiful but people look at the view and crash their vehicles daily.

You can get across it most times. There are accidents that occurred there stopping traffic.

Dangerous, deadly even. Not enough State Troops around to dissuade the speeders and weavers.

Lots of traffic during rush hour. Avoid it if you can during those times.

Fantastic bridge over the majestic St Johns River. Traffic is horrendous weekday mornings and evenings and too many stupid people causing accidents and cutting people off and no signal even cops don’t signal. It’s Florida nuff said..

This is a very scary bridge. People have lost their lives on this bridge for various reasons. Most people drive like idiots on it. I get anxious everytime I have to go over it and hope I get to the other side.

One of the longest bridges Ive ever seen in my life ever 3 miles beautiful scenery in the st. Johns River

Dont go below the speed limit, use your blinker when changing lanes well before you change lanes to be sure that others see you. If you cant or they wont let you in, too bad as they- not you- have the right-of-way. Even if it means you stopping, yes, you stopping, That is the law in descending order. If you are at the end of the merge ramp, you are NOT entitled to merge if there is no room. If you have to stop, you stop. Those on the right-of-way are not obliged to let you in, so dont curse them, but bless those that see you because you are using your blinker and give you room to get in. Get into the lane you need to be and stay there 5 miles prior to your exit. It is your portion to deal with traffic and slow downs in that lane 5 miles before your exit. After all YOU have the right-of-way. Also go the speed limit and keeps checking that you are going the speed limit and take pains to maintain the speed limit.

The Buckman is a beautiful bridge... but its traffic is horrid...

Its the only bridge from the West area into Jacksonville. It usually completely sucks, but Monday afternoon on January 29th, the clouds made it a perfect drive.

Keep your eyes open....many accidents on this bridge during peek hours.

Long long bridge, four lanes on either side. Everyone drives a minimum of 25 mph over the speed limit unless the sheriff cars are out. Additionally, lane changes are generally reckless and without any signals. At least once a year someone crashes and flips their vehicle into the St Johns River. Rush hour traffic is deadly. Off prime time, it isnt ghastly horrible, as long as you drive very defensively​. Definitely not one of my favorite places, but a necessary evil.

Necessary evil with beautiful views. You will have plenty of time to watch due to the idiotic amount of traffic and bad drivers causing unnecessary congestion.

The most dangerous bridge in the city. So many deaths from falling off the side, broken down vehicles dont have nearly enough space to safely try to repair let alone exit the vehicle with hundreds of people flying a foot or so away at 80+ miles per hour because the cops generally wont pull you over on the bridge itself is so dangerous they wait on either side and miss all the needlessly reckless driving occuring on that bridge on an hourly basis. I hate this bridge with a passion.

If anyone remembers the Buckman Bridge before it was four lanes on each side this bridge is spectacular and so awesome compared to the old bridge where there was wrecked every day.
