Like the Angel Oak outside Charleston. The Treaty Oak is a magnificent specimen! I believe it was named after Obadiah Treaty, a seldom used back-up defensive end for the Jaguars.

My boyfriend and I loved visiting this cute little park. Definitely a nice place to bring kids, however you can not climb on the tree. We got some great pictures and had a wonderful time. I do wish there was some extra parking. We didnt want to stay too long and inhibit on someone elses experience.

Its a very cool story, and a ginormous tree. There are only a few parking spaces, so I didnt want to hangout too long.

We have visited this Park and the ancient oak tree a few times. I have heard homeless people all around but both times we didnt see any. Its definitely worth stopping by to see if you love this Earth and nature. Parking is limited and thats the only downside I have.
