We had a blast but dont trust the masks at all times policy on the door. It is not being enforced at all. Many without masks including the referees. Facility was pretty clean and sanitizer available. If masks were enforced at least while not skating then I would have rated 5 stars.

Went to the Learn to Skate they have on Saturdays from 1030 to 11. While I am able to skate, I am an atrocious teacher. They were great with my daughter. Will definitely be back.

We had a great time! My little one is learning to skate, the lesson on Saturday morning 10:30-11 (before they open) was really helpful! Everyone who works there was super friendly and helpful! The place looks exactly like I remember the rinks looking when I was a teenager. Yes, it’s a little dated but it felt clean and wasn’t crowded. I really hope more people will go there, it’s a cool place that I hope will stay in business. My daughter loved it!

A Friday night of going to Skate Station in Mandarin might be a little concerning. Seeing middle age school kids vaping was probably the worse, but the fact a police officer who was on duty was oblivious to it should make any parent concerned. Another issue were 5 boys who were hockey stopping behind inexperience skaters. They were also attempting to throw one another to the ground, not minding anyone who was around them skating. After approaching the kids to be careful around kids who dont skate as well, since the staff clearly wasnt acknowledging what was occurring on the skating floor. The kids made several attempts at making my sister and I fall. I think the facility could improve on their staff. Especially knowing how the owners Lester and Patty expected their skating rinks to be ran in the past.

It was really fun. My friends and I went and I made a couple new friends! Everyone calls them the rink rats and theyre really nice. There was another girl I briefly met and we just yelled vines at each other. Over all really nice people and the food was also pretty good.

I still cant skate as this was my first time, but wow it was fun. Staff was nice and helpful. It was also pretty cheap! They also sell food and socks! Great place!

Skating there is fun!Place is old but I like it there!

This place was packed for a Saturday night and I could count on my hands how many people was wearing them. We stayed for 30 minutes and could not take it. The floors are horrible to skate on and thats from the skid that a lot of the kid skaters do. A few of the younger kids are slam skating which is knocking and running other people over. This was my first and my LAST TIME. Proceed with caution

Fun place for kids. The whole place could use a little TLC. A lot of the video games dont work. Some of the trash cans were overflowing at 2 p.m. And had still not been changed by the time we left at 5 pm. I guess kids dont really care about trash all over the ground so no one seemed to be worried about it.Staff is friendly and helpful. They play good music and the food isnt bad. If you like skating then you would probably enjoy this place.

Family fun atmosphere for skating and arcade fun. The arcade could use a bit of love but the star of the show is the Roller Rink with a DJ keeping it fun. They have skates and blades at reasonably priced rates. There are also themed nights and afternoons which add to the fun. Places like this are hard to find, enjoy it while you can.

We attended a private event there. 5/26 7 PM. While it appeared to be an older establishment the atmosphere was great for my daughter. The people were friendly and accommodating..since it was my first time here and I am not 100 % sure how it works on a private event, I must say that the people that worked the event, the Mike speaker, ladies n gents at the door erc were also very nice. My 15 year old daughter had a great time and we look forward to going back to this same private event the next time they have one.

Been there first time. Was really hesitant based on the reviews. Not a bad place to try. The toilets were dirty and the rink was not very well maintained but cant expect a lot for 10 dollars for unlimited skating including skates. There is a teacher on Saturday from 10:30-11:00. She gave some basics for my kids. Not a bad a place to fall and learn. Will definitely go back. They have some happy hours for much cheaper price on Wednesdays.

You are greeted by Kenny (all smiles, always), Taylor (such a sweetheart), or one of the snack bar girls. They always make you feel welcome unlike other places (where you can tell they feel they were forced to go to work and you should be honored to have them greet you.) These people love their job.The token machine has been augmented with a credit/debit card/cash machine that gives tokens. Some of the game machines token mechanisms dont always register but speak with any of the skate techs; Haley (fastest blades in Jax), Logan (jamskating DJ), Kenny (Mr. Roll Bounce) behind the counter, and theyll reimburse you without conflict.

Amazing staff and lots of fun! We have had a total of 5 birthday parties here and they never disappoint. We drive 20 miles to this skating rink over any of the others options because of how well we are treated every time.

People not wearing masks, both staff and guest. They advertise social distancing and masks required, but no one is following or enforcing. The arcade had more than half of the stuff not working and they dont do refunds on the tokens.

If you are a beginner at skating, go on the outside of the rink...if you dont, youll get hit be the pro skaters and it HURTS! Deffinately use rollerblades though, they are way easier than skates. Forget about the bad stuff... It is really fun!!!! Deffinately should go

We took my nephew to go skating for the first time. I felt that the staff was very friendly. The individuals skating were very mixed (younger, middle age and elderly). The place could use some updating. The rental skates were broken and worn out. It was overall a pleasant experience.

I watched a massively obese lady at the front register chew out a small child over a wrist band and then she was incredibly rude to me as well. I have been coming to skate station since I was a child and now I bring my nephew here and we have poured in hundreds of dollars a month into Skatestation but we will no longer be back at the mandarin location due to the rudeness and lack of professionalism of the workers.

I was here for the skate shop to upgrade my daughters skate wheels. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend and am looking forward to bringing the kids up for skating and other activities.

Apparently .70 makes or breaks this business. With the amount of money we put into this place I had to return to give my son .70 CENTS to be able to get in, because admission went up .70 even though this change is not displayed on their sign. We will be taking out business elsewhere from now on.

The unlimited package is not for unlimited. The kids play place wasnt open until we said something. Then the Rock wall was not open unless we asked and they would complain they didnt have enough workers. When they did finally open it it was only for 15-20 minutes. The kids would ask to do it they would say no its closed. They refused a refund.

My only issue was what they charge for the skate walkers $5 an hour something they made for maybe 30 is a rip off. $5 a visit seems ok but for an hour? Per child? That can add up unnecessarily quickly.

I just wanted to start off by saying that I used to love skating when I was a kid! I used to be at the skating rink every weekend with my friends. With that said, I have been a few times since then to bring my kids and they love it just as much as I do. Today, I brought my high school seniors to this location and it was closed to the public and only open for them! They had a blast! Bathrooms were clean, food was great and to top it off, the manager Tekia was very professional and accommodating on answering any of my questions. Would definitely recommend to everyone to bring their kids or if they want to do work, group or family outing!! Thanks again!

They need to upgrade their equipment (roller skates and roller blades) or atleast throw out the bad torn ones. My daughter got a huge blister on her foot because the padding was torn and it got infected for many many days. Still recovering from it from the skating we did on Dec 23rd! For the money they charge a better experience is expected.

Went here with my daughters, grands and hubby, and we had a wonderful time! Hubby and I didnt skate but we watched my children and grands have a fall out blast of a time. I mean that literally. Great place to come with family and friends. Laugh eat and just have fun together. Great bonding experience to spend time with family. Unisex restrooms that are clean with a play area for children eatery that serves pizza, wings, pretzels, nachos, cheese sticks etc... With places to sit and eat while you watch others skate.

The kids had a blast rock climbing, skating, and the play area, some of the machine games didn’t work properly but I would just get an attendant to help us with the tokens. Great place for a little kids birthday party, music selection was on point, I enjoyed how your could write down suggestions on to what songs the DJ would play and I also love how all the songs were the clean version so that my kids could enjoy and it’s all mom approved!!!

Some huge women accused only me and my fiancé of not paying for wristbands and had to check when we told her we paid then went to snack bar and is hanging out over there now, extremely rude considering we have over 500$ in this weekend trip

This place is amazing and so is the customer service! The music, lights, atmosphere, people, everything is just incredible!! Everyone goes above and beyond to be a blessing and make sure everyone is having the best time! We love Skate Station Mandarin and cannot wait to go back again!

My daughter loves skating here! Takia is very informed and has always been such an amazing help with all our skate needs. At the Skate Station there are opportunities for all ages to learn to skate or just enjoy the play area and games. My three children have always been very entertained no matter which activity they choose.The staff, for the most part, are young but have always been informed and helpful. As a family we love spending time at the Mandarin Skate Station.

Maybe my opinion is bias because I work at a skating rink in Georgia, however I was NOT happy with my experience. There wasn’t a single floor guard, so people were skating in the wrong direction, stopping and standing in the path of skaters, slows skaters weren’t directed to the middle, etc. The employees weren’t necessarily rude, however the customer service was not good. I went to the snack bar and I wasn’t greeted or even told my total, the guy maybe said two words to me. The floor was also way out of date. There seemed to be a ton of water damage and (what looked like) mold. The floor was very rough, and coming from a skater, it was terrible.

We went in support of Erin Jackson on the 21st of January. Nothing was as advertised and no one could tell me how much of the admission was going towards the fundraiser. When the regular skate session was over some of those that paid admission as part of the fundraiser had to go get another band, so how were they actually keeping track of the fundraiser if we had to go get the correct color band in the end. The raffle, that we paid extra for, they advertised and told us would take place between 4 and 6 never took place. My daughter was told it was because derby players wanted to add to it, well my thought is that they should of been there. The discounted cafe prices and games that were advertised were non existent. The golf course looked like a small overgrown backyard. Some staff, or maybe it was just the kids they were hanging out with, were using inappropriate language in the vicinity of my grandson and other young children.So now $45 later, not including about $25 worth of cafe purchases, my daughter and I are unsure what, if anything, is going towards the fundraiser since it appears nothing that was advertised was true. We went in support of Erin Jackson, paid for unlimited although we didnt skate, golf or rock climb, bought raffle tickets and hope that it was just poor management and not a complete scam. I would have much rather donated the money spent there to her directly, at least then we would know where it went. We have learned from our mistake and wont attend another fundraising event here. As a matter of fact, Im completely turned off by this establishment and will drive the extra 30 minutes or so to go to Orange Park Skate Station.

That was a really fun event that we planned for the kidsThis place is huge and it also have an indoor playground for all kids that doesn’t cost anything as long as you are inside.The food isn’t anything special so if you want to save money and eat something good then do so before or after your here

This is the place to go for birthdays! The staff was helpful and there is other things for kids to do besides skating. Make sure you get a table outside of the birthday room because they rotate people out.

Its a nice kiddie place to go took my baby here for her birthday and to velocity so it was great they pizza $3.49 a slice so we just brought a box its great pizza very cheesy better than chucky cheese pizza. It was $19.26 for me my husband and my 2 daughters.

I always have fun when I visit here. One complaint I had from this visit was that some of the music selection was NOT family-friendly. I asked the DJ to filter the songs better, but his position on the matter was basically, we have a wide range of customer tastes. Well, I turned around and could see at least half the rink at 5pm was filled with preteen and younger kids. Maybe Im the prude, but Ill still complain about it. Nevertheless, Ill come back because I enjoy skating.

This review is based off my experience with the hockey program that is run by this organization. I was trying to discuss a situation, with the lady that runs the program and I will tell you dont waste your time trying to resolve an issue with her it is useless, she acted like a child in an adult body, it was a waste of time trying to engage with her. She was very unprofessional and rude, I will tell you if it doesnt go there way you are not allowed back, this program does not seemed organized or run with proper management.

I don’t why but every time we come here with my children for a family friendly event or a kids party event there are issues. Normally it’s ran by a bunch of teens but this time the dj is playing sexually explicit songs. I’m not expecting a full gospel track but goodness gracious, clean versions exist. I mean we were invited to a family worship skate night. I know not think it would be different -__-

Really need to bring your own skates. The skates available for rentals all need to be replaced. Birthday party packages are way over priced for what you get.

I went with my kids and little sister. We paid for unlimited activities. There was no one by the rock climbing wall for the several hours we were there. We did get an employee to come over after asking several times. When someone was finally over there, lots of kids flocked over and there were only 4 places that could be used at a time so everyone was given a short time limit by the employee. As soon as all the kids had a turn, the employee slipped away again, so no one could have a second turn. So much for unlimited activities. The skates were in horrible condition, with laces that could barely be tied because of fraying and the boots were cracked and peeling. The play area was extremely tiny as well; not worth the extra money that admission to it cost. When I pointed all these issues out to an employee, three reward bucks were thrust in my direction with a quick here, Im sorry and then she walked walked away. Three rewards bucks are worth 12 tokens, most of the games cost 2. Some of the games just took the tokens and didnt turn on, and there were no employees around to address this. The ticket-to-prize exchange ratio is the worst Ive ever seen. I estimate that, with average luck, it would take $30 in tokens to get 300 tickets, and you can get a small hacky sack for that. With how the machines I encountered acted, it might take $60. Absolutely ridiculous. I will never return.

Loved it alot of fun

For a place full of children its fairly clean. Prices are higher than what Im used to. I wish theyd assign an employee to enforce some rules on the skate floor. Kids bringing food out there and dropping garbage gets old quick. Some kids play rough and run into strangers while skating the opposite direction of flow but no parents are in sight and nobody who works there says anything. It would be nice to just tweak a few things to make the environment more pleasant for people of all ages, not just rambunctious preteens.

Skate station was clean and had what seemed like new skates for rental. I did not eat there, but they had your typically stocked amusement place eatery and a number of vending machines. The sound system was good and the DJ was family friendly. I visited on a Saturday afternoon and there were a number of birthday parties going on who looked as if everyone was having fun. I would highly recommend it.
