I LUV TO SKATE.!!!!This place looks just like the pictures. It is clean and they practice social distancing. The rental skates arent bad like some places. The owner and staff are magnificent!!! If i could give them 10 stars i would. Such a good time to spend with family and friends

My daughter and I are avid skaters and we have skated at most rinks in east Georgia and Northeast Florida. Tonight was our first time at SK8 City in Jacksonville and it did not disappoint! They have a great sound and light system. The skate floor is in good shape and the entire facility is one of the cleanest we have ever seen. In addition to a great facility, Terry and all the staff were extremely friendly and obviously care about their skate center and customers! Thank you Terry for a great time; you just earned some loyal customers!

Very clean, very nice roller rink with lights and disco ball to boot. They even have light up roller skates!! Too cool! Brings me back to my middle school daysThe DJ Plays all kinds of music from 70s till now. Even has a smaller rink area for new skaters to practice, Which is nice.Food and drink prices are not outrageous and the pizza is actually pretty good. I believe a large pitcher of drink and a large pizza was 17.99? Not bad. It fed a family of 4. They watch put for the littles skating but also have adult skates so if they want to dance and go backwards or go fast, they dont have to worry about the kids getting run over. Which is nice.My only complaint was that the app that has the promo kids free with adult purchase wasnt working. Probably not even their fault.

Very fun spot where kids and adults can have a good time! Two Skating Rinks, one for the beginner, and the other for skilled skaters. Great food, arcade, bounce house, and a spacious track with bumpers cars! A place you and your family dont want to miss out on!

This is a fun, safe place to bring your kids and have fun. Skate city is a place you can let your kids go have fun,. They will get the exercise they need. Then when you get home all you have to do is clean them up and put them in the bed.

We had so much fun today, We celebrated my nieces 14th birthday and they accommodate us and every single way. They checked on us repeatedly, made sure that we had everything we needed and went beyond and above for us today. The prices are reasonable everything was just so perfect and so much fun. I definitely recommend doing parties there or even just going. It’s a blast for the whole family or even for a date night.

I had a party of 16 for my 9 yr old daughters bday and we had the best time the food was good the massage chairs were the best the go carts were fun and the party room was amazing !!!! Customer service 5 star upscaled facility omg I could go on lol and best part about it all was its black owned and the owner is one of the nicest people you would ever meet ️️️️️️ Can’t wait to go back !!!!!!

I took my two-year-old hoping it would entertain her and wear her out. 2 hours later I have to drag her out of their crying because she wanted to stay longer. She had a blast and she was actually able to skate on her own. Everything was very clean and the staff was very helpful. They also make safety a priority with having security and staff members outside and walking around. My daughter was also excited to make a little friend while she was there. Will definitely be going back.

My husband and me came here on Sunday from Saint-petersburg Florida for the 1st time we definitely will be coming back here again your staff is really friendly and the dj was very nice and played some good music that you could actually skate too unlike most skating rinks your BBQ chicken wings were really good but just a little bit messy but that did not matter to me we will be back again in the future to skate here

I took my 8yo niece skating last night and we had a wonderful time. Special thanks to Bryanisha at the retail window and to the security guard working the door. They are two very sweet, very helpful employees. The whole place is extremely clean and well run.

This was really fun! i went with two of my friends and i, personally, had never been skating before.despite price being a just bit steep (but not overly) compared to other skating parks, the staff were funny and when i kept falling they checked up on me!! staff is very attentive and work closely. i plan to go again soon and get better at it!

Super pricey, and not worth it. Spent $63 for three kids to skate. The false advertisement on their website. Nothing to do here except skate and play a few video games. Very disappointed!

We came from Albany GA and the experience we had was AWESOME we ended our day with my daughter hitting the jackpot and winning over 1000 tickets the staff and owner was very friendly we will most DEFINITELY visit this place again

Our experience could have been a little better; however, it wasnt so bad either. Staff at entrance was nice. Food and drinks not so great, actually it was horrible. Its a nice place to take your kids. Would I return? Only because they said they had been opened for a year and because I am a business owner.. I must give them another chance. so Yes, for the kids if they asked. We just wouldnt eat there though.

Went here for my grand sons birthday party! Very colorful inside! Huge skate floor. They have 2 smaller skate floors for the little ones! You can get food, merchandise and even a message!!

While on vacation we decided on a family night at Sk8City Fun Zone. No regrets. Staff were extremely personable and we received a warm greeting. Skates were in great condition. Facilities were clean and music was great. They ended the night with staff providing us a skating show. As we left my daughter fell and hurt her knee. Within seconds of the injury we were provided an ice bag to apply for swelling. Owner came out to check on my daughter. Highly recommended.

Nice place. Safe, clean and spread out. Change the music and lights often. Only gripe is $6 entrance fee even if you arent skating.

The experience I had was a night to remember! My friends and I were able to come together and enjoy some amazing quality time while skating in one of the cleanest facilities I’ve ever seen. I highly recommend this skating rink for family get together‘s, a night out with friends, or any kind of celebration.

Adult night is on Sundays, they have an amazing Epoxy glossed floor. It feels like sliding on waxed floors with socks. The skates are all in great condition. Very nice skate center. I feel like the floor could be slightly bigger. They do have events and alcohol on the occasion.

My family loved it. It is practically like any roller skating rink you have ever been to, Rink, rentals, food, arcade, it says it has bumper cars but I’ve never done that. ️

Is nice the kids enjoy yourself youre just my kids too small so they got needs to be 6 years old and able to do the bumper cars I had to ride with each one of them individually so they can get the experience they just too short

Nice inside BUT the people who are not skating have to pay $6.00 to watch... I went with a bunch of kids as a chaperone and each chaperone had to paid to watch the kids...10 × $6.00 plus $12 for each child that gets expensive. If they stop charging people to watch people skate then I will go back, think about it, you will make $$$ off the drinks and food. Every chaperone went over and at least spent $$ on a drink and food.

The courteous and kind staff that looked us in the eyes were truly authentic in style as they asked how they could help and assist to make all of us Have the best time!I felt love and joy in Their actions .... the manager Chrstine was from day 1 in planning the party was interested and engaged in the final product .... she was so professional yet kept such an exciting feel to her .... she is what a Top manager IS... she is A+++ and that space is so wonderful Bc of HER AND THE STAFF.... it’s hard to find this experience these days, I am so grateful and the party was more than a hit. What a great Veteran owned family fun zone! Sk8 city is a great place for family enjoyment. Skating, video games, bumper cars, bounce house, go karts and more. A special thanks to Terry for making my daughters 10th birthday an awesome event!

“Oh my goodness “ is an understatement of my experience at Sk8 City here in Jacksonville, Florida! I brought my whole family as they were in town for the holiday and to celebrate my sons birthday and when I tell you that both the young and the more mature family members had a blast that’s exactly what I mean! The energy of just family fun and interaction with the younger people was what I loved to see the most. Who says children don’t want to hangout with the adults and have fun? I couldn’t tell that night! Thank you for providing a place where we all can come and enjoy ourselves together!

My experience there is really fun.The people that work there is mad cool. I always go here to clear my mind and have fun obviously. I recommend this place to anyone that likes to skate and have a good time. My friends and i go almost every weekend when we can, thats how good of a place it is. Took a group of high school seniors sere for a field trip. Great place! They have a decent rink, plus a separate rink for kids, bumper cars, a bounce house and a small arcade. Skates are in good condition and music is great.

First time visit. Had a great time. Nice, clean facility, plenty of room to skate. They even have a separate floor for beginners. Security check in front and uniformed staff present throughout. And the facility is Veteran owned. Will be back!

Its about time Jacksonville got a good skating rink. Im from south bend Indiana and jam skating was my thing back in the day, we had our group at our rink then occasionally wed go to other rinks in different cities around us LOVED IT. This rink reminds me of ours USA (United states of America) also this is just how a great and responsible rink owner should be from what Ive seen so far. Ive only went 1×so far and it was a Sunday with my nieces so was pretty laid back. Clean and smooth well kept floors so u dont ruin your skates... Finally and thank u, Ive been waiting for ever to get back into it. Only issue is price is crazy 12.00 I could see that if ur staying from open to close, but Im old now and out of shape so I can hang maybe 4 hours lol. Oh I also seen on tv the skate ur case.... so awesome.. BRINGING IT BACK..I LUV IT. Cant wait to come again..ThanksAngie

Wasnt very happy that adults had to pay to get in even though we were not skating, but the kids enjoyed it. It wasnt too crowded, good music.

We had a glow party last weekend for my 5 year old granddaughter and it was perfect! Everyone had so much fun and the DJ was fantastic! It was closed today and the owner let us come in and skate in the place. The owner is really nice and I recommend that people should go there and have fun. You can Skate and play arcade games . The coolest part is that the roller blades light up. There is even a some party rooms and one of them even is a light up room. Please come and try this place out.

It was a nice throw back to an 80’s pastime, I just wish there were more features from this decade, like better skates, air quality improvements, the DJ was rocking!

Nice clean facility for 3pm party. Terry,Tonya, all staff and security were very accommodating for over forty party guests. The 25 skating guests had their skates available with no wait time.The non-skaters had plenty of room in the party room without being cramped. During open skate the DJ would play requests from r&b, hip hop, country, and Top 40.

Never even made inside. Would never take my kids to a skating place were they needed to be wanded down by security for guns. Not a good look and definitely not a place I want my kids to go skate.While I believe in being safe Ive never been to a kids event that you needed security and wands like a nightclub.That just spells danger alert!!!!!!

Parents pay to watch and small groups we are large family so we take up bulk of guests before inviting others. Gonna have to pass but loved the experience. FYI, not police friendly. They would rather rely on “Top Flight Security” (First Coast Security) for the safety of their patrons and employees. Had an active LEO turned away at the door because he was carrying concealed (in accordance with Florida State Statutes). Owner then went on to explain to a uniformed JSO officer that he would rather rely on hired security guards than a trained LEO should something happen. Absolute insanity. Might have something to due with the fact that the owner is a convicted felon. Just saying.

My travel club and I went to this location for a fun night. I was very disappointed by the promotor Orlando. He changed the listed pricing by increasing the charge without staff or written notice. Very unprofessional business practice on his behalf. Howeve, I went to get a drink (because I dont skate and was only there to fellowship) and a gentleman asked me how I liked the establishment and if I was having fun. It was obvious he worked there because of his staff shirt, but in casual conversation I asked him I asked him how long he worked there and low and behold, he was the owner!!!! At this time I told him how I really felt about the price gouging by Orlando. He was shocked and said he would take care of it. Although, he didnt have too, he did.... I personally feel that Orlando shouldnt be able to promote at this location because his unprofessionalism couldve lost a customer. Instead because of the owners acrions, you have gained a customer with connection to millions of travel club members who will be honored to share and promote your establishment. Booked the VIP area for my babys 13th birthday. And Im so glad we did! We had a blast. Everyone that works there is extremely kind and helpful. They went the extra mile to ensure we had a good time. Y’all spare yourselves...I drove all the way down here, just for them to not even acknowledge me at the door.The young lady standing outside waiting on her party informed me that they closed early despite their hours stating that they were open until 10 because they were full.I just believe there’s a better way to deal with that as a business, at least have a conversation with your potential patrons or set up a system where people are able to come in as others come out. II drove two hours to come skate and it will be the last time I do.

Really disappointed with this venue...booked a birthday event for our daughter and guests and everyone was disappointed... we made our reservation along with a deposit and we arrived and was told they overbooked their venue and we had no private room and we booked this event two months ahead of time...we were served pitchers from your grandmother’s kitchen but without cups...everything we were told and planned for did not happen...they ran out of concession stand food and no one showed hospitality(the staff was very unfriendly especially the female from the bumper cars feature)she even tried to over charge...I saw no one use cleaning preparations for the skates...it was just embarrassing to expect an upscale service and in return the atmosphere was as if no one wanted to work everyone walked around with motionless appearance...there was an alternative to do businessIn Orange Park Skating Rink I wish I did not rule it out trying to support all of these new attractions in Duval...we will not return and I do not see the establishment lasting in Duval but we came we saw and we went and tried to support a new business and it was not worth it...

Very nice facility but expensive compared to others. Got charged spectator fee of $6 for babysitting my grandkids.

First time coming here. We were invited to a birthday party and after waiting in line for 15 minutes a young lady came from inside yelling “stop selling, we don’t have anymore skates”. So there were no more skates..we were still expected to pay to gain entrance because we were told there was other things to do inside. There were bumper cars and we were told they were out of order when my daughter asked to ride. Very disappointed. We paid to watch others skates.

Had lots of fun, easy accommodations, ring was decent size, and above all good taste in music, would recommend coming here if you are into hip hop music and roll bouncing the night away

Horrible experience. Held my daughters 6 year birthday party here. My wife didnt book in advance so they charged us 150 dollars just to bring our own food and drinks inside. Then I had to pay another 100 for the 10 kids to skate. The inside looked clean but in the back were extension cords running all over the floor which is a major trip hazard for kids skating. Both bathrooms were out of order and wreaked of fecal matter. The women all came out of the ladies bathroom and said it looked like a scene from carrie. Each toilet was over running with period blood with used tampons and pads on the floor.FYI if I had paid for a room I would have been even more furious. Their kitchen was down so they wouldnt have been able to provide me with any of the food I would have paid for. Additionally their credit card and change machines were down so you had to pay for everything in exact change.If they run out skates in your size their response is to tell you to wait until someone is done so you can put their smelly warm shoes right on your feet. If you want to watch your kids skate you will still have to pay to get in.Ive heard from many locals that they are excited about this place because they grew up going there. If this is how this place was previously run no wonder they shut down.Horrible customer service, horrible pricing...in other words DONT GO!
