Grew up coming to this museum every weekend just about. I had multiple birthday parties here and really enjoy getting to see the history of what was once a busy railroad hub here in West Tennessee.

Great setup and depot is in great condition. Outside there is a caboose and passenger train car setup on rails. Pretty authentic look including a semaphore and other railroad signals. There are actually two cabooses and you can go inside both which is really neat and takes you back in time to the old days of railroading.

Great place to visit for railroad history. The staff was so so friendly and helpful, thank you. Very nice model railroad of the area with interactive controls.

Our toddler had a blast! Loved the replica of Jackson with all the moving trains!

Great Train Depot, an extensive HO model railroad and plenty of local railroad history to peruse. A couple outdoor cars to venture in as well.

A simple little depot with lots to see and do. There is a miniature train set up in the back ran by a really nice gentleman. It is very kid oriented but still great for adults that like trains and history. There is a train whistle set up on the flagpole for those enthusiasts.

This is by far my most favorite place to go to there’s a lot of history and the staff are really nice I’ve known them since I’ve moved here in 2011!

Its a nice place to visit with your children and learn something yourself

Its free, fun and educational! Everyone should visit at least once. Take a tour and learn something.

This is a really nice little train museum ... and its free admission! A train depot in its original location and original building in Jackson TN. There is a caboose and a dining car out back which they use for kids birthday parties. What a cool idea.

Great place to experience trains

Interesting, eclectic collection of Jackson TN railroad memorabilia. Kids will like the model train.

There is a lot to see here, and it is free. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about trains and this location.

In an old depot. Not a lot to do, lots of pictures on the walls mostly, but the caretakers were really nice and friendly. A nice scale model train in a side room and a couple of train cars to walk through out back. Closes a little early at 3pm (central time).
