We went here because it was an evacuation center. The place is fine for this purpose. It seems like a good location for gatherings (assuming you can do so with covid still around )
A quaint park with lots of space to play and hang out. There are a number of courts for all manner of sports and a sizeable play structure for the kids. Its also conveniently adjacent to the local school, library, and the adventure playground.
Very big tennis courts, though your equipment can be stolen here. Just like me, if you have a lot of equipment (ball tubes, a few tennis racquets, 100+ tennis balls, etc.) your equipment will disappear. There are many people who come into your courts and will go back out. Most of the time, you might think theyre just watching you play, but also they come next to your equipment and you might seem that they are going to steal your equipment. The park; which is very large, has almost everything you can imagine. A swing, a spinning wheel, a triple slide, several sets of monkey bars, and a climbing rock . It is also a very nice place to take a walk with your family during a summer evening.
The Adventureland Park is a really nice place to visit with children. Its a very spacious area where kids can play in the mud, build human sized lego house and overall have a good time. I came here with some friends and their kids, and the good thing is you can bring your own food and have a picnic.
Nice and clean place..entry of parking and is right next to adventureland park
Beautiful Park. Play ground for kids. Nice family atmosphere
Great place to walk and meet your neighborhood walkers
A wonderful place to take the grandkids to play. There is an adventure playground there-free admission and very clean. Lots of fun and they even had cold water on a hot day.
Right next to the university library and adventure playground.
Adventure Playground is a great place for kids to have fun and still be safe without too much supervision. Only one way in and out of Adventure Playground and the parents have to sign the kids in and sign them out. But there is lots of room to run around and giant Legos and just a great place for kids to have fun. Kids can be kids.
WE LOVE ADVENTURE PARK!1. They have bathrooms inside!2. Concrete slides, like whaaaaaaaat!3. Obstacle courses for your mini ninja warriors!4. Huge LEGO bricks for your future engineers3. Trucks and mud!!!!Bring an extra change of clothes and rain boots so the kids can play hassle free! There is a sidewalk for anyone with strollers and a few benches as well. When we came here the jungle gym had a huge slide that was broken! But the lids didn’t mind. Honestly such a good place for little explorers!
Great place to walk the dog, throw frisbees, or just wander around.
Two sand Volleyball courts with light and kids play area near by also library very close by which helps people to spend time with friends and family. Its a good place for get together or to conduct a small function.
Really cool park
The plastic slide was out the last time I went but I love this park. They have giant legos and cement slides, walking area, discreet wall around the entire playground, a water play area, and bathrooms inside the walls. One note of warning, when going down the cement slide, go with your child the first time. I noticed the lighter kids fly off but say- my 45 lb 4 year old barely scoots down. So if you have a lighter child just go down one slide while holding your kids hand. Adults barely go down at a snails pace.
We saw her tg
Very well maintained . Restrooms are clean and neat. Nice family place .
My children really enjoyed this park very family oriented and much to do around
Adventure Playground is truly amazing for the kids kids of all ages love playing with the giant Legos to build castles and forts to break and rebuild over and over again. Its really fun to watch all the different children of different ages interact creating building playing having fun. The slides and other jungle gym equipment are excellent as well theres not much I have to complain about this place it really is a fun park for kids of all ages.
Such a great place for kids to enjoy the outdoors. From the large Legos to the little water station and mud pond, theres plenty to keep the kids busy. I would suggest to bring an extra pair of clothes and snacks if you decide to stay till closing hour.
Great for tennis
Its an amazing experience! kids love it and its peaceful and serene for parents. visit only if you and your kids like getting muddy and wet
This is a very beautiful park with playground, a lot of greens, free parking.
My son love there. Had a fun
Big, clean, safe looking.
It would be a great park but it is almost never open! Its closed during school days..only open for a few hours before sundown. Also closed during summer during the week (see pic).
Had our regular AA meeting at 7:30pm. Hear facility, great meeting.
Great place to do sports (tennis, volleyball, running,...)
Once of my sons favorite. Clean and lots of different playscapes
Nice park for kids. This park has the usual playground and few feet away is the entrance to Adventure Park. Park is clean and big.
Kids friendly
Clean, quiet, good amount of parking space, everything in order.
Very cool! Very nice and well lit area, great for skating.
Great park with a bunch of activities, including a couple for older kids or adults.
To sum up this park in one word: imagination
I am always happy to find community spaces where people can gather to enjoy the beauty of each day. This is a very nice park with basketball, tennis, and racket ball courts. There are also picnic tables and grills. It is next to a public library and an elementary school.
Nice old small park. 4 Tennis courts, 3 Racquetball courts, and 3 walls to practice tennis. 2 sand volleyball courts. All the courts have lights. Theres a small sidewalk trail loop maybe 1/8 mile total. Decent size field to fly a kite but kind of deep grass for soccer and no lighting. Medium size playground with lots of different swings, bars, nets, slides, etc..I would give it 5 stars if it was a full basketball court and if the volleyball had softer sand with no little rocks.
Huge plastic block structures that some dumb man was building were DANGEROUSLY tall and eventually fell over making a huge loud noise. No kids injured today but Im sure itll happen (sadly). Please do something about that or just get rid of those stupid blocks. Foam type outside building blocks like the blue ones at the Pasadena Kids Space Museum, are WAY safer. Other than the block danger, great Park.
I love this place, its got a little ping pong table, a little reading corner with books and 2 tiny bean bags, a big jungle gym, and this huge dirt area with building blocks.
Nice park with decent play ground
Great play area for kids.
Lovely park, always kept clean. This park is next to my apartment and its always vital
My kids love going to different parks.
Its very nice. Close to library and Adventure playground.
My kids and I adore this playground. There is so much to do here. Building with the giant legos is my personal favorite. Everytime we go its like a different park becuase of the new lego buildings/towers. It is a bit far from where we live but its worth the drive. Honestly, I would pay to come here but it is totally free. The parking can run out easily but like I said totally worth it.
Fun park for all ages and pups too
This is such a fun place to go to! Pack your lunch and spend endless hours playing, bring extra clothes for the littles.
Took our daughter an she loved it.. will be going back soon
Clean family friendly area. All the park amenities where very well maintained.
Kid had fun...running around, playing, exploring new things
I have been coming to this park since it opened and it is wonderful.
Huge park and has good volleyball courts. Close to the library too.
Great park to visit with kids
This park has so many things to do & keep the Kurds entertained
Awesome park to let your kids run wild. There is dirt and water, so bring water shoes and clothes that can get trashed. Huge open area that is easily viewed from the sitting areas so its easy to let your kids do their thing without needing to follow them around. Playground, building blocks, trucks, sand, giant checkers, books...something for everyone.
Nice little park that is clean with a few gazebo. If u play pokemon go, there are a few gyms and stops. Is a potential ex raid opportunity. Not loud and is basically away from any big streets.
Great time for everyone
Great park in Irvine that has grills for cooking and plenty of things for little kids to play with.
Nice place for kids to play
Tennis courts ... Good place for decent tennis pickup partners
The adventure park is so unique, it has a big slide coming out of a fort, netting tunnels, mud, giant blocks to build, water play area with water spouts, big concrete slides, books, chalk, Zen garden, bathrooms, changing tables, walkways for strollers around the park. Its all fenced in except the front entrance, they also have crafts, foosball, table tennis... So much fun! They also have picnic tables but they fill up quickly. Ive seen people bring blankets and chairs to have lunch on the lawn.
Interesting, unusual playground.
Clean place and safe place for the kids to play
Get your kids out of the house and get them here! They will play for hours, and thank you later with a long nap
Found a massive Caterpillar here. Mourning cloak. Took it home. Made it an enclosure. Then it shriveled up and died.
Very cool family park
Trucks, blocks, slides, water, mud and all that free.. Whats not to like
Good open place to hang, with multiple tennis courts, one basketball court (+ a mini one behind the building), nice small path around a nice small grassy area, a multipurpose building I never used, and clean restrooms. Really well-lit at night until 10pm.
Not too many shady areas, dirty legos,
Super fun. Lots of different activities. My kids love coming here.
A cute little park and a great place for your kids to meet other kids because of the after school programs or other camps going on during the day. Most kids are well behaved and plenty of parents to help supervise
We attended the Arabic story time it was amazing we loved it
One of the nicest parks in Irvine. It has tennis courts, raquetball, a huge playground and even bigger open grassy space to play and explore with your kids. It is distanced from major highways too so it seems a lot safer than other parks that are adjacent o major arterial roads.Highly recommend this for parents with kids looking for a park adventure.
Great place for kids and free!
Nice Park, very scenic and great for kids
Friendly, safe, grrat place to play arund for parents and kids. at the adventure park parents can also have little rest as it is gated and relatively safe area for kids play
Its big park for toddler and all age of children. Big Soccer field available.
Library, playground and adventure playground are great. the community center offers nice and cheap classes.
Cute park. Nice place to have a party.
Great park for the kids.
Great park
Good park with big parking and playground
This is one of my kids favorite place to come.
This place is so cool!
An amazing fun place for kids, toddlers, and adults all the same for a fun day with activities and a place for people to jog.
Have a beach ball area, tennis, basketball and children playground. Also the adventure playground is right beside it
Well-designed, features for all ages (infant and up.) Mostly a textures rubber surface, but theres a sand area in the middle. The balance/spin features are great!
Very pretty, well maintained park in a quiet neighborhood. Lots of groups in the summer that looked like summer camps for kids.
The park is awesome. Lots of greens. Tennis, racquetball, volleyball and basketball courts. Has a restroom that opens at 9 and closes at dusk, next to the office. We were there to play volleyball and arrived an hour earlier to reserve the courts. We had more than 20 people. Before we even started to play, a group of so-called regulars said that they always play there and that they had the right to use the courts. WHAT? This is a public park, it runs as first come first serve basis. If you want to have the right to use the court, come early, have someone stand there and use the court or make more money and build a park with a volleyball court where you can play anytime. We were nice enough to let them use one of the court while the 24 of us had to rotate and play 1 game at the time. Worse thing was another group of so-called regulars told us that they wanted to use our court after we are done. Excuse me? Why are you pushing us to give you the court? Why dont you go stand in line and try to get the other court? Overall, beautiful park with great amenities but the people that kicked us out from the court are a disappointment.
This park is at one of the best location for kids and grownups, as it is near to a public Library, an adventure park, a community club. Also Location for year long classes, elementary school!
Nice big park with lots of open area. Playground is not shaded. Nice playground for 3 to 6 year olds
