Looks like a good place to visit if your activity is allowed. Restrooms are near the Tennis courts, some areas are taped off but it appeared that a soccer game or practice had just ended. Parking was convenient as well.

Parking is plenty when I was there early in the morning. There are two parking lots, one located on Bryan and the other one is located on Yale which is closer to the tennis courts.Soccer field, two gated tennis courts, two tennis walls, tracks, beautiful playground structures and clean toilets are a few great things about this wonderful park.

My kids really enjoyed this park. Bring sand toys. Also has nice path for scooters/bikes. The castle and large rocks for climbing were definitely a win with the kids

I love how it has different activities for different ages. Especially Adults/ kids.It has a 2 tennis cours, a soccer area, and 2 different playgrounds.And the best thing not usually busy on the weekend.

Beautiful sunset. Lots of play space for, there must have been ten to fifteen kids and there was not pushing or fighting. Will definitely go back with my toddler son.

This place is expansive and there are many things to do here, from watching the kids play in the playground and play in the huge playground, to having a neighborhood basketball match and exercising at the many stations around the place.

The community center is quite nice but the parking situation is not a good experience. There are not Nearly enough for a full day use of the park on the weekend.

Definitely one of the better parks in Irvine for kids. Its huge and they really feel like its a castle. My only complaint is there isnt a ton of shade so Id youre coming in the summer, be prepared

A very popular park! I visited it on a weekday. It was filled with what looked like day campers and a large group of adults doing Tai chi. We used it as the start of a bicycle tour of local class 1 bike paths. I give those paths five stars -- especially the Jeffrey open space trail which is almost ostentatious! The Hicks Canyon Trail is also very nice with over or under passes that allow trail users to avoid intersections. Or, if you need to get to the street, just take a convenient exit path.

Love the castle park!! Me and the kids could spend hours here. Bring lunch or snacks. They do have a vending machine for water.

Nice gem of a park, playground, and recreation center. The sand the children play in is cleaned and leveled every morning! The park is well maintained and used by many families for soccer, tai chi, walking dogs, toddler and preschool play, and more.

Thank you. I stayed at the Hotel across the street. The $42 parking was out of my budget. The park offers overnight parking for a small fee. This park has Volleyball, Yoga on water, Gondala boat rides & other activities & its a short scooter ride away from Venice Beach

I like this park my children have plenty of room to play the equipment is well-kept the fields are nice has an exercise area around cleanliness is a key thing here definitely something to do for everybody.

We chose this park because of the memorial they have to honor our fallen service men and women. I love when cities recognize the sacrifice those young people have made.

This park is also known as Castle Park. Sometimes parking can be difficult but it has nice playground for younger and older kids. There is access to community center bathroom for parents with kids. There are two big pinic areas that people can reserve as well.

Great playground. My kids have nicknamed this park Castle Park. The Castle and multiple bridges are fun for older kids to play on. Also has smaller equipment that is great for small children too. Soccer fields, Softball backstops, picnic pavilion, handball courts, etc. The new community center is also very nice with restroom facilities. It can be reserved for community events or birthday parties. Military monument is a good place to remember those from Irvine that have fought for our country.

If you classify parks in Irvine as small, medium and large, this is medium sized one. There is not much of lawn area, but many structures to play for age groups 2-6. Definitely a place worth visiting and checking if you are in near Bryan Yale. For tourists, it could be a place to hang out with kids to take some break.

Northwood community park is referred to most as NCP. It has a large play structure. This place also has 2 parking lots, located at the front and rear entrances. A clubhouse type building is there, which is where many occasions are held.

Recently came here for a family member birthday party and had a great time with my wife and kids! The park has a huge castle type play area. The park has mostly sand and also the soft asphalt type ground. small med and large play areas for all ages. Swings for babies, toddlers, little kids and big. Handball court, half basketball court, tennis court, baseball/softball/kickball field. Lots of grass areas for soccer or volleyball (if you bring a net). There are two parking lots and some street parking. Large picnic areas for parties (you have to reserve ahead of time) The park is really great lots of fun for everyone.

Great park! Needs some maintenance but overall the kids loved the castle and general size of the play structures!

I give it five stars just for being clean and it’s a busy park. Grandkids liked the castle type structure and climbing on the large rocks around it. Had regular playground scruff also. I have never seen such clean playground sand.

This is a huge Memorial Northwest Gratitude & Honor. Its nice place to visit to become thankful to the many Women & Men have served our USA given up their lives while keeping us safe. Its one beautiful peaceful place. Check the names. Your also able to do a rubbing to keep at home in honor of your missed loved ones. God bless you all.

Kids love this place. Lot of play areas. Open grounds for running around or playing games. Convenient for BBQ and relaxing. There is a walking trail too around the soccer fields.

This is a review for the playground only:What a huge, beautiful place to play! Mostly sand so dont forget your sand toys. I would say its 75% in the sun, so wear sunscreen - it was super hot the day I went and it was somewhat difficult to find shady areas in the playground. Will definitely go back on a cooler day. Worth checking out.

Castle Park! I grew up coming here and playing at the castle. I never called it by its official name growing up.Theyve recently redone the community center and the area around it. The fields are well maintained.There is also a memorial area on the corner across from the main park area.Ive never used the tennis courts so Im not sure how theyre used it reserved.

If I could walk all day there then I would.

All of the parks in Irvine are beautiful and this is no exception. The recently upgraded community center looks great from the outside. Almost everyone in the area calls this park Castle Park.

One of the better parks in Irvine with play areas to accommodate all ages of children. There is a community center that was just redone and has a lot of well organized programs for the children.

Clean bathrooms, spacious seating, trees for shade, great play equipment and a huge field with a track. Perfect for family time and play dates. Also the parking lot is safe and not overcrowded.

The kids love the Giant castle. The restrooms were clean. Lots of picnic tables and a big field nearby with a walking path around it.
