A very fun place! You can sign up online before you arrive online. Its a very good idea to make a reservation for your group if you want to be able to ride together. Otherwise you can end up having a very long wait. They have a lounge as well so it can be a cool place for a date night, etc.

Took my grandchildren here for a birthday party. All the kids had a blast and the staff was great. They kept everyone very safe. Nice work guys!

Been coming here for years! Absolutely love. Tons of fun and the staff is super friendly.Recently they upgraded all the karts that include a digital display, also feel faster in my opinion.They added an entire Virtual Realty games section but to be honest, Mario Kart is hands down the best one.Skiing cuts out after 2 minutes and the shooting one, well, is wack and feels like soft p**n. Try it and see for yourself.Regardless, this place is a must in Orange County.

Highly recommend coming to the indoor carts. Ive been a member since 2017. Great place to host meeting corporate cause a lot of the building. This what you expect from a place that caters to the start up businesses all around. I love the tracks and drifting in the curbs. Place is so fun!

Nice place for kids and adult to spend spectacular time...good for the birthday party, too. Huge space with tons of electronic racing cars. They have nice bar and good food.

A little pricey, but the go-karts go fast. I was a little sore but thats because I like to speed even if theres curvy tracks. When off public roads of course. I was also sadden to see their arcade area, which was closed as it looked bare. So if you just like to race, or never rode a go kart go for it.

Excellent place, it is a very recreational activity I usually go once or twice a month with friends or with my nephews.

I use to love this place until i found out that they purposely slow down peoples cars. I understand that having a fast car can be dangerous when someone has no idea what they are doing, but I have been going to different k1s for at least 10 to 15 years. I wondered why for so long I was 3 seconds behind some of the best times of the week. Then I had a conversation with someone that was on my race that I watched beat everyone with little to no effort. Even as he passed me and we both were flooring it I saw the digital power meter on his car. His was showing 100 and mine was somewhere around 70. How can I even fairly race someone when my car clearly is not at the same level. Its a shame but after discovering this I dont know if I can go back.

Best K1 speed track in California. I have raced at all CA locations. This one is the most tricky one.

Best way to get your need for speed!! We did 3 races and it was a blast!! The staff was very nice and helpful! Even took pics for us! Buy be beware, this place is addicting! I cant wait to return and beat my time! Great for all ages too! Plus, if you need a snack or drink, the cafe is great too!

This was my first visit here. We had a great time on track 2 and had to wait a little while until track 1 was available. The cars appear in good condition and the staff was professional, courteous and very helpful. This is great place for a family or a group of friends to go to. I would have given it five stars but the price is a little high.However we had a fabulous time and will return again with friends or family.

Purchased 2 races for 3 kids. Apparently the girl who ran the front desk forgot to put us in a second race. I asked for my money back but the line was so long it would haven taken another hour to get it back.First race 8pm second race 1010pm. pretty ridiculous if you ask me.

A lot of fun with a big group or by your self. The restaurant is reasonable with the usual bar type selection. Even on the weekends they get through big crowds like birthdays and company events so the wait is not that long.

Amazing place. We had lot of fun... The staff were highly professional.. It was almost a real F1 race.. Our names were displayed on the board while reading with a live track of speed and the lap we are in.. excellent place to hand out for corporate team building events

If you want to feel the speed in Go cart, here you are at K1 speed. Amazing track with perfect cars. Really loved staff very friendly. I had a issue with the car so they gave me the credit for that so they are very helpful. They have two different tracks for adults and kids so if you have a kids then no need to worry they have pretty good track. The best thing is that they measure all the lap timings and also the general race is qualifier not the race. So whoever hits the fastest lap wins the race. The price is also reasonable comparative in the market.

We went on a Friday around 6pm. The wait time 15-20 mins because a Birthday party,it wasnt a big deal. Walk in are welcome. My son and I had a great time racing electric go-karts at K1 Speed in Irvine! The staff were fun and friendly and they train you on the basics of safety and driving the kart. The price seems fair as well. We each drove 2 races and had a very good time. We will definitely be back!

Soooooo much fun! Had an absolute blast. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. A bit on the pricey side, but all in all worth it to hurdle your body around corners on a go-kart.

Had a great time coming here for our company party. Hopefully we will make it back for our next launch. Ill be sure to do better next time. Maybe even place! Also, the Mango Smoothies are AMAZING!!! I would highly recommend them. ^_^

So much fun honestly like how can you not have fun going fast around a corner trying your best to get a good time as well not let the other person pass. At the same time a ref is waving at you. But look it is fun but crazy expensive. I honestly would come back but he is the catch only when I win the lottery. A few laps around the track with an electric cart should not cost you like 12 or 15 dollars.

We had great fun. Price for laps is accessible. You have to get a $6 annual membership.

This location was amazing. We came here for a business trip to kill some time between meetings and it was completely worth it. Make sure to go over to the food bar to get your race results each time you finish a race so you can see how you stacked up against your competition!

Our shop took the afternoon off and went here. It was my first time here so I was trying to win like it was a race against the other racers on the course, its not. You all race for the best lap times so it doesnt matter if you pass anyone on the track. I could have done better had i known this in the beginning, it would have changed my whole strategy in how I raced. Next time Im going to do better.

Nice venue! I went here for both my birthday and a friends birthday and both times were very enjoyable. I am not a very great driver but going around the track felt just about right.

Its been about two years since Ive been here. They have remodeled the cafe area and the gaming area. They have VR arcades and theyve also upgraded their go-karts. Bathrooms did not get remodeled but, they still have the hottest water for most of the places Ive been to. If you havent been here I highly recommend it.

Had a blast like always and love the fact that my favorite food truck Kogi Truck stays there for lunch and dinner which was perfect! Got first place and was Blessed to try out virtual reality for the first time.

This place is so much fun! My job rented this place out for our staff Christmas party and it was a blast. Great team building experience. The go karts pick up major speed and the tracks are really fun. The highlight was of course was the fact that the races are an actual tournament ending with an awards ceremony! Whats even cooler is they actually print out your results so you can see how you fare against the people in your party, and if you do well enough you can even see if youre one of the top 10 fastest times for the week. Despite all of that my favorite area is the VR zone! VR Mario Kart is a must!!! The best part is, all four players can talk to each other through the headsets. I seriously want to go back just for the Mario kart!

Had friends visiting town so I took them here. Great place and great fun! From check in to racing everything was smooth and fluid even though it was busy. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful

Great place for a family! High speed adrenaline indoor racing for a relatively inexpensive price. Food is subpar but beyons that, experience was amazing!

This place was awesome. My kids loved it but I think I loved it even more. I noticed how clean it was when I first walked in and how nice the place looked. Their lounge/food area was good, the food we ordered seemed to be on the appetizer side but it seems fit for a place of entertainment such as this. David was kind enough to give us a tour of the area and really made the experience of being there go smoothly, considering it was our first time here. The racing was awesome, being down low really makes you feel like you are going way faster than you are, which is already pretty fast. This place seems family friendly and I would recommend anyone to give this place a try, we will definitely be coming back.

A great spot for company team building/year end party activities. Been to several locations, very consistent and all and all a fun place.

This is a good track. It’s mentally challenging. There are three 180 deg turns (2 hairpins and 1 sweeper) that can really reward you if you get the exit right. There’s a chicane after the sweeper that will reward you if you can keep the throttle in.

A place for people who want to have fun racing your friend and family but the only concern that I have it the price.

My family and I bought 2 races each and they told us it was going to take 30 minutes between each race which was normal. It has been years since Ive gone to K1 speed, but because we had our accounts from that one time we went the employees expected us to know how to operate the go-kart. I had to ask how reverse the vehicle. Also after our first race we waited an hour to end up going to the desk to ask them what was taking so long. They told us that we had to tell someone that we bought 2 races, so they could sign us up for one. Even after we complained we had to wait ANOTHER 30 minutes before we could do our last race. The staff didnt give us any direction throughout the entire stay. PLEASE GIVE INSTRUCTIONS EVEN IF PEOPLE HAVE RACED BEFORE.

Stopped in here on a whim while on Vacation, and it was awesome! These karts go super fast! $50 for two people was a little steep imo, but it is California....

2 tracks, electric carts capable of going 50 mph. Sweet! Personnel a bit flippant and just going through the motions.Safety excellent, printed electronic results informative.

This place is a little expensive $22 plus a $6 mandatory membership for a 14 lap race. The racing is exciting to watch while you are waiting, the course design is great but it is a little small. They showed new drivers how to use the kart then it was time to jump in! The karts are maintained fairly well (my karts tires had a fair amount of blistering) and I was a little disappointed that there wasnt a standing start with a grid line up but it was a more single line release onto the track. The crew (Staff) do take accidents seriously, as I found out first hand. My wife got hit from behind and pushed into a wall at speed. She was hurt and winded, instant red flag and the karts were stopped. The crew rushed over and checked her for injuries and gave her a second to compose herself. It was a kid who hit her and it was an honest mistake. with that said, kids crashing into adults seems to be a common complaint, I wish there was an adult only race. also because of this accident, we only raced 13 of the 14 laps. I wanted to post a fast lap but keep in mind that the karts are electric and their speed can be altered remotely, meaning your kart will start slow and you will need to prove yourself for them to turn it up. To get a fast cart you need to be there all day. Overall I had a great time and would go again but not at the weekend.

This place is so fun! They have a bar and restaurant inside and a little area with kid games. The couches are comfy. There are fans but it gets hot so make sure to wear a tank top

Having spent my career building high powered motor systems Ive been really interested in K1 and I wasnt disappointed! The karts also handle very well. The smaller track is certainly the more technical and challenging, the bigger is faster and maybe more fun for beginners or the inexperienced.Either way would recommend and Ill certainly be back!

Its a cool place in a good location if youre local. The staff are nice and I really dont have any complaints. Karting is not my thing, so my opinion may not be the best when it comes to the Karts and speed, but compared to other karts Ive driven these are fast and drive well.Good selection of drinks at the bar. Not sure about the food though.

Ive been to k1 twice in the Irvine location. The first time was fine. This time around the kart just never accelerated for my second round and I felt kind of offended being given a booster seat. Ive karted since I was 13 and had never been given a booster seat up until yesterday. Its pretty empty on a weekday. I give it 3 stars, negated from the throttling and another one for giving me a booster like I needed assistance.

Well-maintained, fast electric go-karts, a newly-redesigned café, billiard tables and more. What a fun place for the whole family! My father and I race here every other year when my parents come to visit me here in Orange County. There are TWO tracks to race on here and you specify which track you wanna race on. They even have a first-place/second-place/third-place riser you can stand on for pix with family members or friends with whom you raced.

Two pretty nice tracks. One quick and another one a bit smaller but more tricky. People super friendly. Go kart are quick and nice. New go karts as well. Youll need to pay an annual membership fee is its your first time

Its a fun experience driving gocarts in an indoor track. Where else are you going to have fun not worrying about accidentally bumping or hitting other gocarts. There are two tracks... a practice track if you want to get to know the cart and track. The main track is a bit longer with more hairpin turns turns. This is exceedingly fun. Our company had an event here and we had a terrific competitive time.

Awesome place for a birthday party for older teens. I brought my son and a group of his friends here for his 14th birthday and they had a blast. They have snacks too. Staff was really helpful with organizing everything for the party.

Some of the most rude/incompetent service I’ve ever experienced, especially at the front desk. One person in particular seems like they hate their job and takes it out on all customers, nice or not.Their drift night isn’t that great, seems pretty inefficient to have people “sign up” for drift night and not just stand in a line. Otherwise you end up waiting for someone who might not hear their name and walked off somewhere, increasing wait time for everyone. Took AN HOUR JUST TO GET TWO RACES IN, mostly because they somehow forgot to sign us up for a second race on the drift track. I blame the apathetic and bitter front desk.Their track is not meant for drifting so they use plastic back wheels and the shavings get everywhere, all over the track and all over your clothes. Better off going to a go kart place with a dedicated drift track.

I came here with my coworkers after a long tax season and it was great way to let off some steam! If youre looking for a way to get your blood flowing and let loose, K1 is the way to go. I would take my step son here, I would have a girls day here, I would even suggest this place as a first date. The workers are very nice and professional. My team and I went on a Friday afternoon and it was not crowded at all. Even around 3pm, we did not have to wait to race! I WILL be back.

Fun place to visit since generally speaking electric kart racing is fun.However, the wait is long to get in and the process for getting into races needs work. The staff wasnt exactly on the ball and no one was friendly or even curtious. The two tracks (in comparison to others Ive visited) were just alright, pretty short, very sticky and they are very strict with their system so if one driver messes up everyones speed gets cut off. Both times we raced they took a different approach and if course didnt explain anything, theyre very disorganized and the kids running it all seem miserable which is surprising seeing as they work in a place thats only designed for fun.Wouldnt go back to the Irvine location.
