Nice and quiet little trails inside of suburbs Irvine. Flat trial for easy hiking and you can choose to walk on the gravel or paved surface. Beautiful seasonal flowers are blooming at the momeny, too!

This is by far one of the best walks in Irvine! The park is cute and clean, but the piece de resistance is totally the walking trail. It accommodates bikes, pets and people. It is relatively shady so a long walk is so easy. My puppy just loves this place. He can walk and run and sniff to his hearts content. It even has cozy benches if youd care to sit and read or take a picnic or just plain chill. Go for the excercise. Go for your darling puppy. Go for you.

It is a nice park with lot of parking available. They also have public restrooms and a gazebo. The park has lot of trees, and we did setup our picnic mat in their shade. There were hardly any folks in the park today. It feels good to step out during these COVID-19 times and this park ensures that you can safely maintain social distancing.Worth a visit.

Nice, gentle walk that is almost all flat. Definitely dog friendly, with most of it having a paved and dirt section side-by-side which is perfect if the pavement is too hot for a dog. Some shade towards the beginning but it seemed to die off later on. Fair number of people walking, running and biking.

This is a level, shaded walk with a choice of dirt or paved path along a former railroad right-of-way. Nice for exercise, jogging, or biking and dog-friendly

This is a quite park usually with a gentle breeze. Very popular for sports, walking, riding bikes. Many amenities are close with the pandemic. Still plenty to enjoy for a nice walk or chasing your little one.

It is a beautiful Park tons of open space and one of the few Parks Ive seen that if you actually reserve the field they put up multiple sign so theres no reason somebody can take it all in all its an amazing Park would highly recommend for anyone with children or without children just looking to spend some time outside

So many soccer matches, some with 3 referees and everyone is dressed properly in uniform, including teams and referees. Its amazing, very nice crowd. Lots of trees to sit under and watch.

It is quite shady, and the walking and bike trails are separated most of the way.

Nice park and shaded trail for a relaxing walk, bike ride or horseback riding

Everyday this park is busy at some point. Soccer teams with kids and teens, people and groups exercising, tots and babies on the playground, but its still relatively peaceful most of the day. I never see any shady people lurking about. However I have encountered weird things in the park like a condom on the grass, discarded marijuana containers near the park benches/ playground. The park seems serene but because of these things am a little more cautious.

Great great quality soccer fields. I love playing here. They have public bathrooms and a fun, small little kids playground. They also have a baseball field and a bike trail nearby.

We came here for my sons Soccer game and it was very neat and clean. We liked it.

Beautiful park. VERY clean. VERY busy. The big attraction is the very busy soccer fields. Many, like myself use the parking lot as the trailhead to the vast networking of greenbelt trails and paths. From here, the paths have both hard top and horse trails. There are bridges and tunnels heading east, so your can take a 4 mile round-trip run and never need to cross a street.

Good spot to park if you want to run the trail. The bathroom is sort of weird. It has very high ceilings and the wall between the mens & womens side at the peak of the ceiling isnt completely solid.

Clean and well maintained park. Restroom was so clean and lots of shade parking spot. I started the trail, 3.4 mile for round trip. Lots of runners and walkers.

Hicks Canyon Park is conveniently located for Irvine locals and is well maintained with soccer fields and a playground area for children. Also, you can find the entrance to the 3.5mi out-and-back running trail near the Culver side of the park.

Came here on a mission to find the hidden swing. Long story short the mission failed because we didnt have much time to find the swing! But nothing-less a great place to come and exercise or take a hike or get a nice view of CA in a quiet area. Will for sure come back when I get the chance to come back

Sports park with a kids playground in the middle. Right behind a shopping center with a few options to eat and right next to the Venta Trail for biking, running or walking opportunities. Sports fields usually reserved for teams.

Very well maintained park which connects to the Hicks Canyon trail. I usually go on the weekdays in the evenings, and it is pretty empty with plenty of parking.

This park is peaceful and quiet.

Like most parks in Irvine, simple, safe, clean park with bathrooms and playing fields. Great place to park and run the off-road road trail that runs north to Portola Avenue and south all the way to Harvard Boulevard, for a total of 10 miles.

I park here to use the Hicks Canyon trail which starts at this park. Taking the trail to Portola road and back is just a tad over three miles. It offers both a paved path and a dirt path to run on. Both trails run side by side. The Hicks Canyon trail is one of my favorites to run on.

Great park wish they had doggy stations

This park has lots of parking and is a great access area to the Hicks Canyon bike trail. The fields are almost always reserved. There are signs everywhere that say they do not allow walk on use.

Awesome place to hang out while child is at soccer/baseball practice.

Fun little park

Ive only seen this park used for sporting events. While they do have a playground for the kids i dont know anyone that brings there kids here to play that isnt here for their other kids sports game.

This park is the start of the Hicks Canyon trail. Go under Culver through the tunnel to get to a nice shaded walk.

This is a short but beautiful and scenic trail that runs from Northpark to Northwood. Good for walking, running, or biking.
