Another gem. I went here for The Little Mermaid, sing-a-long. That was like the best time of my life. There was a costume contest of first the children, then the adults. We were greeted by employees who handed us gift baggies while dressed in character. The organ player did a bunch of Disney music before the show. During the movie we got to sing out loud, scream when Prince Eric was on screen, I felt like I was at a rock concert. I hope to go back here sometime and see more movies.

One of my favorite restaurants, Tender Greens is here and they have a Target store with a corporate Starbucks kiosk.Parking can be a little difficult sometimes and right now they have some construction going on.

I just saw The Invisible Man here, in theater 1, and although the seats,n renovated theater, etc. is nice, the sound quality was poor. It wasnt a complete sound on the dialogue track, although the soundtrack and ambient noises tracks were full volume. It seemed like the frontal speakers (behind the actual screen) werent all working. All spoken lines during the movie sounded dim, as if they were being played out of a large phone speaker.

Smallish theater not too many advanced features like lounger lazy-boy seating or heated seats. Just standard theater amenities with popcorn soda and candy. However, its walking distance from UCI, and tonight management made the smart decision to screen indie darling Sundance favorite The Farewell. And it was so deeply moving and touching. 7:30 showing was completely sold out, but it was still amazing. Thank you Edwards UTC.

Lets start with a positive! The staff was extremely friendly and very welcoming. But justification of the high ticket price and extremely high concession prices is a difficult kernel to swallow. Its old school seating, not the laid back recliner chairs that are in most theaters today and the sound and screen quality is just not there. Id suggest updating the seats, screen and sound quality to justify the price. Or just lower the price of all the above.

This is one of my favorite theaters to go to for a couple reasons. First off, its a bit cheaper than most other Edwards which is awesome for me cause I love going to the movies and that can sometimes get a but pricey. Second, the surrounding area and shopping center is gorgeous. Theres even a small lake to stroll by after a nice movie if your in a romantic mood .

This is not a movie theater, this is some sort of social experiment or elaborate prank. Every parking spot in the parking lot is marked 45 Minutes or less, which is much less than the running time of most movies. And there are plenty of spots, just none that you can park in to watch a movie. After driving around the lot for 20 minutes to no avail and missing a movie that I stupidly booked online, Ill be avoiding this place like the plague.

I checked the web, recorded the address of the theatre and the time Bohemian Rhapsody was scheduled to run at 1:10 on Saturday March 2, 2019. Four of us arrived before the scheduled time but when we entered the theatre the main feature had already begun. We have no idea how much of the movie we missed. Better phone ahead to make sure the times posted are accurate. I see that they change daily. It is very disappointing not to see the beginning of a movie.

Nice, small movie theater with comfortable, high-back seats, plenty of legroom, and friendly staff. No stadium seating. A few years ago, it screened mainly independent films; it still does, but seems to have recently started playing more blockbusters. Still a great place to check if youre looking for an indie or foreign flick. Parking lot can get congested during peak times--especially in the afternoon, as the lot is shared with other University Town Center businesses. However, there are a lot of great fast-casual eateries serving up good food in the same complex, so its a good place to go for movie and a meal.

This smallish but comfortable theater is in a nice albeit somewhat sanitized college town center. If you want free parking plan on settling for time-limited spaces -- when you can find them. The longest we could park without paying was for two hours, so it was dinner OR a movie for us. Even had we paid to park, most restaurants and other businesses in the center closed relatively early (even though it was Saturday night) so plan ahead if you want more than a movie. Buy your movie tickets ahead if you are short on time, and of course be prepared to spend the typical arm and leg at the theater.

I actually loved this movie theater, it’s my favorite in SoCal. It’s not fancy and it doesn’t show the big blockbusters, and that’s why I love it. It’s just a common, simple movie theater that shows a mix of Hollywood, independent and foreign films. I’ve seen a lot of interesting and exciting films there. Plus there are several nice dining options in the mall.

Beautiful movie theater, the staff is very respectful (they dont enter to clean the house while the credits are rolling for example) and helpful. The screens are of a very decent size, sound projection are good too. The seats are not that comfy but the prices are excellent. In addition the audience is mature and respectful; you dont get children running around, crying or talking; that is a very big plus for me. I go here even when it is farther away than other theaters (but with younger audiences and iffy staff). Thank you, to all the staff there for making a good watching experience for the public.

I remain hopeful. This underperforming Cineplex has been the local arthouse for more than a decade, becoming ever more run down and unwelcoming. Parking is difficult, most of the lot near the theater is marked 45 minutes only to discourage UCI students from parking here to attend class. Security doesnt seem to enforce that unless they see someone crossing the street to the University. The facade of the building has been under remodel construction for a year, so the entrance is a lab rat maze with little helpful signage. The theaters have been updated s bit with newer seating and better sound. I enjoy seeing the type of films that are booked here, so Ill keep my fingers crossed that when the remodel is thru itll be a more welcoming experience.

We trying to go to the Edwards University Theaters but the parking was really terrible. They have the whole area in front of the theaters zoned off for Target and Trader Joes. We had to go all the way around to the other side of the complex to find parking so we wouldnt have to worry about being towed away during our movie.Id like to add a PostScript to this ranting complaint. Nobody was going to this Target so they were like 100 unused 45-minute spaces in front of the store. If you go further east, there were another 100 unused spaces for Trader Joes. And if you go even further east there are probably 200 unused spaces for the Tower office building. And as we left, we saw a fleet of about 5 security patrol cars whose sole Duty was probably to ticket cars for inappropriate parking.

Ok, lets start by judging a book by its cover (The review of the charm of this place comes after). This is a small theater that is really starting to show its age. Walking in kind of took me back in time to when I would go to movies as a kid. Smallish lobby but with an interesting upper level where the bathrooms are located. There is also a lounge up here but I dont know what this is used for as there is not free wifi or tvs or an extensive food selection which would merit spending alot of extra time here. The cosmetics of this place aside, I like this theater because it feels like your own private theater. Almost like the whole place is there just for you. I love coming here on Sundays when I want a little time away from others. The smaller crowds and friendly and prompt staff are perfect for this. Also, whoever chooses the movies that are played here deserves an award. Twice recently I have found titles playing here when the next closest theater playing them was more than 10-15 miles away. If you dont know, there is no shortage of theaters in the Costa Mesa/Newport/Irvine area. So, great film picks, and a quiet private atmosphere and friendly staff makes up for the dated interior of this old theater.
