I rode last year with my son who was 7. Our son who was 5 could not ride. We were told he had to be 6.So we waited until this summer to take both boys since the youngest is 6. I check the website which states you have to be 6 years old. We show up. They say he cannot ride because he needs to be 7. We paid to get into the park and everything. He was disappointed obviously. He said they better not say he needs to be 8 next year. We had a great ride last year. The people are nice. It is just too bad it is not better run.
We rode the horses at the Fort today. Our guides were phenomenal, and the ride was extraordinary! We will definitely go back!
My family and I rode horses at this location in 2019 right before my sons 6th birthday and were told we had to ride the pony ride because he was not yet 6 and my daughter who was almost 7 was ok to do the trail ride so my son and I sat to the side on the very short pony ride as my daughter and husband rode the full size Horse. We were counting down with my son until his 6th birthday so he could ride the big horse which he was looking forward to, and once we arrived we were told they now have to be 7 so this is the second year we were told he isn’t old enough the second time was very disappointing considering my daughter rode at the age of 6 and the website states 6 and up allows horse back riding non the less we were turned away.
First time horseback riding..long trail..besides my inner thighs asking WTH this was amazing. From the guides to the horse-Ginger. I will do it again..
We really enjoyed this place. The staff are polite and friendly. The horse trail scenery is serene and beautiful. Prices are also reasonable including for the adult led pony rides. Highly recommend and will return!
Friendly staff closed now but I have used them in the summer first rate
I had a awesome day here with my daughter nice staff love my horse fredo
I hadnt ridden in a while and I couldnt afford lessons, thought Id do this to scratch my itch if you will. Definitely does not, the horses do everything on their own. Basically like riding in a kids train. Its just sitting for a trip. I would recommend this to little kids probably around 7-12 yo.
Everyone was very friendly and the scenery is beautiful.
Very friendly place
Very nice horse trails even smaller horses for the kids
Nice ponies. Rosey costs $3 for a kid to ride. Cant beat that value.
Pork chop always brings the entertainment.
