Decent dog park. Nice playground and ball fields. Great place to stop and eat lunch

The playground is nice overall but it can be unsafe so I had to give just 3 stars. This playground has one slide in particular that on many occasions is being used in an unsafe way. Please see attached photo of one example. Also the kids can reach out over the slide at the top, and possibly fall. I seen a young boy attempt to look over it to wave to his assumed grandmother, and almost fell off of it. The slide is just too high, is part of the issue. I fear there will be injuries with this slide. A child slipped and almost fell backwards as he was climbing the steps part next to this slide. I am not sure why this part was even installed, its entirely too high and I fear a child will be injured if some have already not been. I think they should sauder it off at the steps and get rid of the open areas on the high part. Too many supervised monkeys running around, let alone the unsupervised!

I let the dog rate it

Its tough to secure financials to upgrade parks and maintain them. They do a great job here and it should be visited by anyone with children 3-10 years old and they can go full tilt. Older and younger as well but my girls went the hardest at that age. I personally have never had any issues here. A lot of climbing, adult accessible and always seemed very clean. I appreciate having this opportunity.

If there is frisbee golf this year, Ill give a 5 star, last year ther wasnt any.

Nice little Family Park!

Clean family friendly park. Nice variety of play equipment no rust or broken down pieces plenty of shade trees and picnic tables. A local favorite to sit and eat in your car for short lunch breaks. I frequented this alot in the past a nice break from the chaos right in the middle of town. And if you are a coffee lover Starbucks is a stones throw away and a little further up the road is the Meadows ice cream. So it gets my vote with my two favorite things in such close proximity! On Oakland Ave you also have your choice of an array of restaurants to choose from to take back and relax in nature.

My son loves going here. We always have a blast going to this park. Nice shade trees and lots of places to sit and a great pavilion area for parties or just to sit there while your child plays.

Great playground n dog park. Very shady (great for hot days ️) n pavilion. Theres also a volleyball net. Best part, Starbucks is across the road as well as The Meadows (ice cream shop)

A very well appointed family park and separate dog parks, lots of rugged playground equipment with the rubber ground covers, and a pavilion with picnic tables.

I love taking my dog to their park. Its the only place in town where I can let my dog off the leash without fear.

Great place for kids to play even on a hot as it is covered with trees.

The park is nice and also has a great dog park next to it.

Awesome little park, the kids love it.

In the peak of summer, this shaded park is a Godsend. It has playing equipment for kids of all ages and sufficiently spaced out so kids get to run around a bit. Little kids will need extra supervision as there is a creek nearby and there is access to the main street with traffic. Apart from those little things, a great place for a family picnic or just a quick run around on your way to or from the supermarket.

My kids had fun running around and using the equipment. I liked how its shady so the kids wont be overly hot playing there in the summer. Ample parking.

This is an amazing park that is shadowed by the tall trees around it. Really good on a hot summer day. The creek is great for splashing around in, theres good parking around, and the playground equipment is good for kids of a variety of ages.

Amazing experience at the dog park, my dog made so many friends. Handy multiple gate system, so dogs cant slip out. The park itself is fun.

It has a convenient location and facilities. The best thing about it is the short distance to Starbucks where you can grab something and enjoy the sun in the park. Also, it has a good playing area for the kids.

Our 1st time playing disc golf had a blast as beginner novice now I hear theyre taking it away to make a dog park,really people already do pick up after their pets and you want me to bring my kids there and grill out save this place as it is

My kids love this park, I just wish there was a fence along the busy road so a little one couldnt dart out into traffic.

I don’t like taking my kids here because the playground is designed for kids 5 to 10 prob and my kids are younger and in the fall.. my biggest problem is the termites they are eating the wood here and land on you it’s disgusting. The6 can get all over u and then u take them home and get infested yuck!
