Tranquility! A park to visit for peace and quiet. The park is well maintained. The lake view gives your mind a peaceful calm.The childrens park with slides, swings, climbing walls etc. is great for all ages.The walking trail gives you ample distance. If you enjoy nature and its natural beauty Blue Spruce Park will suit you well!

Nice little county park with picnic tables and a small lake for fishing. A pleasant nature walk makes for a light stroll--pretty buggy in summer but decent birding. Can be crowded on weekends. Local vehicular through-traffic can be reckless--keep your head on a swivel walking on the road. Sketchy cell service--thats not necessarily a bad thing.

This a great place to take kids to connect with nature and go a short trail walks. They also have kids playgrounds which is great on dry summer days. A great spot for fishing on the lake.

Beautiful little park.. very clean and cool spot for a bit of silent fishing! I love the peace and quiet so if u need to unwind from a hard day, I recommend taking the chill pill at this park.

Blue Spruce Park is a quaint little lake side place. Shady spots are nice. But, be prepared to be eaten alive by swarms of various bugs. Restrooms in the park are your typical Park stinky style Outhouse restrooms. Quite a few Pavilions if you should need one. Lots of paths around the park.

Blue Spice Park is a calm and relaxing place to spend an afternoon. They have demonstration gardens, pavilions, a playground, and stocked lake. It is possible walk around the entire lake, but the end with the dam might be a little difficult for some to traverse.What I liked the most about this park was all the accessible amenities- from parking to restrooms to a spot for fishing- all were conveniently located and well-marked.The signage to the park could be better especially considering the cell service is spotty in this area.

Quaint and pretty. Smallish but with many amenities. Pavilions. Trails. Playground. Pond. Fishing. Wildlife.

Great if you like nature. Took the kids for s picnic. They got to olay at the park and walk around the lake. Would like to see more for younger kids to do at the park. Was only one baby swing.

Blue Spruce is a beautiful place to go and relax, have a family gathering or small picnic, or drop a line and go fishing! There are clean restrooms all around the park. Walking trails allow people to explore the park. Great place!

Its a county run park. The location is beautiful and there are pavilions and restrooms. Could use some small improvements, particularly to the restrooms.

Great family atmosphere

We have a family reunion here at the lodge. Yearly event. Beautiful park. Great play area. Nice trails. Community events often take place here. Many picnic tables. There are pavilions to rent with reservations.

A park to just go and hang with out. Take lunch and enjoy. You can enjoy fishing, they have a beautiful playground for the kids, and other pavilions available to rent.

I love it here...Very peaceful,quiet...not really crowded...My son caught a 11 inch trout.

The playground here is more geared to older kids, but the trails around the lake and into the woods are the real star. Bring a handful of bird seed and just go down the trails and try and feed the local birds. Theyve been trained to eat out of your hand and make it a truly magical experience.

A small park, but a fun park! There is room for an abundance of people to all have a good time. Blue Spruce offers nice scenery, and a relaxed feeling. Also, the park is not a far drive from town.

Very nice state park, small dam to fish at. StonePavilions are some of the best I have seen in the state, very clean and kept. Nice for a day picnic or group rental for a party. It is out from any main businesses though and not much cell service.

Very nice clean park. Super laid back atmosphere. They have family activities sponsored by many different organizations. On June 2nd they are having a family nature palooza no charge. See you there.

I had good time there, however, there were not any true pure blue spruce trees like the name inclines

Nice secluded park jt was my first time learning about the birds and bees it woyld of been perfect if it was hers but hay what do you expect from a 48 year old i knew ut wasnt her 1st time when i heard one of her kids was hiding in the back seat watching other than that no interrupting it was a funtastic 2 minutes

It is a nice looking park with a decent sized pond. The rentals for parties is a nice feature, its a good place for a graduation party.

The park is not big, but it is absolutely the most beautiful one in Indiana area. Many chairs and tables for tourists, playground for kids, places for BBQ. Would visit more.
