Its a great place to play Frisbee chicken ball around have a picnic outdoors under the cabanas or walk your dog at the dog park or play in the river or rollerblade the miles of trails or just walk around and enjoy being outside.

Very nice place to walk or ride a bicycle the creek is so relaxing and a refreshing change from all the city noise and traffic. You might even see some small animals like we did yesterday with some young cottontail rabbits or lots of birds if your watching for them. Nicely paved so it is easy to walk or jog on and it is shaded for part of it so your not in the sun the whole time. Was nice to see families walking and smiling together as well.

Both sections (Providence and Madison) are beautiful little slices of Mother Nature. They are easily accessible, never overly crowded, and the paved path is wide enough for walkers and people on wheels of all types. In Providence: the path has a good bit of shade much of the day. It follows along the creek and there are plenty of places to sit near the water. Under the bridge you can walk right into the creek if you want. Ive seen people kayak it as well. At the trail entrance is a dog poop station (bags, trash can) for those who like to walk their buddies.

Awesome place to take small children your dog or even a date. Beautiful and although decent amount of people you dont feel crowded. Recommend!

Have you ever wondered what it was like to walk along a stream, in the woods, during the day. Have you ever seen squirrels playing, heard birds singing, and spotted a crane? Oh, by the by, you live in the city...try a stroll thru the Greenway. See Jehovah Gods creation, the work of his hands up close and personal.

Beautiful place for a run, but the paved trail is far too short. This could be an amazing community asset if the paved section was lengthened.

I exercise here often either by myself, with friends or with my family. Great place to go for a walk, jog or bike ride. Well maintained and highly recommended.

We recently moved from Harvest / Madison to the Providence area. The Greenway is a wonderful area to walk, take pictures with family and just get away for a little while. Once off the paved trail, onto the small hiking trail that runs along the creek, you really forget you are only 15 minute walk back to the hustle and bustle of a nice trendy entertainment district.

This a very nice little walkway. The kids love it and if you happen to play pokemon go, theres usually some good finds on the trail.

The north end has access to Providence. Paved trail is shaded in many parts. Quite. Access to a couple playgrounds.

Nice playground for the kids. Greenway is kept clean. Lots of active bike riders and runners. Very pretty during the fall time.

Beautiful place to enjoy nature in peace and be in Athens without feeling like youre near the city. Perfect for running.

One of my favorite places to take my dogs. Plenty of room to run and completely fenced. Wish there were more places to sit and a little more shade for the humans but over all love it.

The creek is fun and refreshing. The trail is paved for biking and jogging. There is a pasture with horses along the way. Great spot to enjoy nature.

Short, quiet little walk path...relaxing

My husband and I love taking our dog and spending the afternoons here! There dog part is separated in half by weight categories, and are get accommodating. The trails are beautiful and paved. Would highly recommend making a trip there!

Love this greenway. Great dog park, access to the creek, well kept, disc golf course. I only wish it was longer. Makes for a short bike ride, but a decent length wall or run

Relatively short path, but nice quiet spot with a creek running alongside it to provide some peaceful places to pause and enjoy nature.

Beautiful long greenway with disc golf course and a river with swimming holes. Unfortunately current construction is messing some of it up.

This review is for the Providence of Huntsville portion. Good for shorter runs. The actual greenway us about 1 mile long. The only downside is parking near access points if you dont live in the Providence neighborhood proper. Street parking is good for a couple of the points but not available at all for the other two access points.

A beautiful and peaceful walkway along a gentle creek. Great for exercise and walking the dogs. There are waste stations for dogs. Beware the area is prone to flooding after heavy rain.

What a beautiful place to ride a bike! Love the creek and tiny rapids you can see from many places on the trail. Also, there are always plenty of people walking/running or riding to feel pretty safe, but not so many that it is crowded and you feel like everyone is watching you the whole way.

Great park with lots of swings. They even have seeing for larger handicapped children that help hold them in. There is a section with larger slides and rock climbing for bigger kids, and a section for the smaller kids. There is also a disc golf course, and a dog park here.

I love Indian Creek! There is a small creek, but the real feature is the beautiful walking and biking trail. Its small, but it is quiet and beautiful.

Clean bike and walking trail with plenty of open park to take your dog along with you if you like. Trash cans and doggy clean up stations at all of the trails entrances.

The portion in Providence is very quiet.

Wonderful trail, a serene get away from the suburbs. See open fields, streams, horse and cow in their pastures. Kudos to the planners. I really wish they would finish the trail and connect it to the providence trail though.

Very pretty and clean. This section is fairly short at about 2/3 of mile from end to end.

They need to finish it and link it to more of the Greenway. The distance is very limited. Otherwise it is nice enough if you only want to walk a mile or less.

Its great for family. A two Lane paved walkway Twists through the woods and follows rivers even for being in such an urban area. No slopes so its an easy ride, and there is a playground at one end

Currently about 2 miles. It is a quiet Greenway.

One of the best running-cycling paths I have seen anywhere. I look forward to when it extends further to the North.
