I have been here with the three year old I babysit twice. Our first day, he played tirelessly for three and a half hours before we finally had to leave to eat--otherwise he probably would have stayed for another couple hours! Each room offers entertaining and innovative toys with an obvious theme. I also like that with all the things to do, its not overcrowded with toys. The staff has been friendly and helpful, often stopping to play with us. Will definitely be returning!

Save your money it would have been great had no employees been there it was like it was ran by the cdc I get policy and precautions and all but what a nightmare I mean really following families and kids around spraying cleaner directly behind there every touch staying mad about a mask slipping down yelling across the building wow and its a museum wheres the instruction the teaching the education and fun and the help it wasnt there and when I talked to the manager in so many words he said oh Im sorry we are profiling white men with familys right now because a few of you people have given us problems and we dont want shut down when acknowledging i was being profiled and offense was taking the experience shifted slighty but then we were stone walled and rushed on several exhibits and rushed out at the end of our self guided tour that started at 2 and ended abruptly at 345 15 minutes before end of our payed for 2 hour time slot due to cleaning before closing whilst they cleaned the whole time we were there we would have love to have gotten the full experience this facility has to offer but given said experience by the prison guards I mean employees we wont be back thanks tho

We went to the HalloweenBash! I am glad we decided to try this out this year. It was a lot of fun for the kids. They enjoyed it. I was worried about halloween this year due to Covid, so anything that was offered, we tried it! This should be a yearly tradition! Very creative with the tables set up and all the decorations were very good and festive. The kids loved the different games and different ways they handed out the candy at each table!

Nice history museum for kids, but most activities that the kids seem to enjoy were the generic children museum play areas. I enjoyed the architecture piece though and tried to encourage my son to play there more.

This is a great little childrens museum, especially for younger kids (my 11-year-old got bored after a while), but I world not go again during covid. Tickets are normal price, but you can only stay for two hours, at only three pre-arranged start times. Everyone has to wear a mask, which is not a huge deal, but the staff also chivvy you around making sure your group stays together. I have four kids and we were there with friends, so we were continually being told to stay closer together, and only a small number of kids were allowed in each area at a time. Like I said, it would have been a great place to spend the day under normal circumstances.

It is a darling building in Downtown Huntsville. I wish I had time to explore the place to see everything they have. As far as area where the party was, it is your typical banquet hall. Lots of hands on stuff for small children. Super friendly staff. Recommend 1-2 hours.Next time I will definitely explore the museum!

Went with my daughter on a field trip. It was wonderful, Mary was our tour guide and she did a phenomenal job catching and keeping the kiddos attention. They did Christmas around the world which went along perfectly with what the kids were learning in class. The theatrical performance about La Befana was really good and entertaining as well. I think having a tour guide and a subject matter is what really made the experience wonderful.

Absolutely horrible CHILDREN’S museum. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. The awesome children’s museum we have visited around the country have hands on exhibits that encourage creativity an let a kid enjoy being a kid, and make parents imagine they are kids again. This is a HISTORY museum not a children’s museum!!! It is archaic and hasn’t been updated since its inception.

The kids had fun, but overall it is a bit strange and the strangeness is kind of hard to describe. It seems like a regular museum, which has a few random daycare-like areas integrated in. I wish it integrated more experiential science exhibits, rather than having so much space allocated to dry topics, with oddly integrated kid-oriented aspects. If you have been to science museums in bigger cities you might be disappointed, but the kids will likely have fun since there are a couple areas with toys and play areas.

Definitely not entertaining for a 4 year old. Not one single staff member spoke to us or asked if they could help us. Its basically a Look at pictures hanging on the walls kind of place. There was a room with a pond and fishing (plastic fish in bleach water) and thats where we spent our time. For the admission price I expected more.

Great hands on facility with something for kids of nearly any age. They have a room for toddlers and kids that are active where there is a fort like treehouse structure built into a wall as well as a moving water bin where they can fish for magnetic fish and see toy boats move. Deceptively large building and lots of walking space. The big trees talk, though my toddler son was not a fan and seemed frightened of them. Decent size auditorium where they show cartoons. Content covers Alabama history from the 1800s to present. Nice place to bring the kids. $5 for toddlers up to 3. No time limit. They seem to have a partnership with paw patrol as far as characters and merchandising. They also have someone dressed as a character to meet the kids. Located downtown so metered parking is your best bet.If you have a educator ID your discount lets you in for free!

We had an absolutely amazing time here. At first, we were not sure if our kids would engage. The backyard is great and our kids had a fun time there, but we finally got them really interested in the giant sized tinker toys. Our son built a monstrosity! We got all of our moneys worth out of building things and raising the flag on the river boat! Additionally, they learn about milking cows, raising hens, baking bread and many other things! We packed a lunch and really appreciated that they catered to this by offering a well appointed place to have a pic-nic! Overall, this museum is small, but packs a big punch.

The museum is great for children. However it needs some renovations upstairs. The young staff was wonderful. For a childrens birthday party location you cant beat the price or the activities. $150 for about 2hrs, for a party of 30+, private puppet show, private play room, complimentary party favors, and party invitations, and personal party guide. Just bring your food, cake, dishes, drinks and any decorations you would like to put up.

Nice place to take the tots to play. All in all it was a pretty safe place, but as always, keep a hawks eye on your child, not the phone. I was a bit surprised that the water area didnt have a cover over the deep end where the water flows down making it a drowning danger. It also hosted black mold on the inside of the container which I accidentally put my hands on. When I mentioned it to a staff member she just gave me a blank look. I was kinda spooked by her reaction.Theres a lot of creativity that has gone into the design of this, and lots of opportunities for creative play. Definitely worth checking out with your tots.

Great place to take my daughter to play, no matter the weather. I would have given it five stars based on my own membership, but then we had my nephews party here today. My sil paid $135 to have 45 min for cake, pizza, presents, and clean up. The ice cream cake was still frozen enough it took us ten min to cut it. The birthday boy got to eat half his slice of his cake and got to open 1/3 of his gifts. They mean business about that 45 min. They will chase you out!
