This was such an awesome experience. So up close and personal. I was thrilled to see that all the animals are very well cared for. I was also greatly impresses by the preservation of natural habitats. Seeing fallen trees and brush piles left as they were gives so many much smaller critters shelter and food also. You can tell great effort is made to just let nature take its course. Will definitely visit again soon.

I wish they would limit how many vehicles could go through at a time, perhaps. Especially on a holiday weekend. Once we got through, very few animals were interested in getting fed and there were too many cars crawling through, waiting and trying to get animals to approach. A very hot and sweaty traffic jam of sorts. I get it that animals will be animals and it was hot and later in the day, so probably not so hungry anymore, but we wouldve liked to know that before paying $75 to get in (4 people, plus lots of food). My 3 yr old was a trooper about it, but very disappointed. The first time we went last year it was great! But next time well try way earlier in the day and/or on not so hot of a day. Good thing we have lots of food for next time! And I will say, the animals always look great and well taken care of. We very much support places like these who take great care of their animals. And to future customers - please dont dump your red cups and containers out of your vehicles onto the grounds with the animals! No matter how irritated you may get, dont litter the place! Seeing that really upset us.

This place was amazing fun with one caveat; Dont bring your newly polished Lexus or BMW. The animals will brush up against your car. It will buff out though. The kids had an amazing time and the animals were right up in your face. The llama and male deer will try to grab your feed cup from you, which is hilarious. There are bison and really cute tiny piglets. Youll remember your little safari in Alabama forever.

Great Experience. If you are looking for a great quarantine friendly activity this is the one. We drove 2 hours and absolutely loved the safari. Price is 10.00 per person over 2 y/o and feed is 1.00 a cup. Bring cash cause they only accept cash or check. The animals are super friendly and very funny. I would recommend getting there early as we did sit in line for about 45 mins just to get in. You are able to go around as many times as youd like so definitely worth the money.

Well worth the trip!! Park is in the middle of nowhere but it was awesome to be able to get up close to animals. They come right up to your car or stick their heads in car. Goats will jump up on Windows seal. Buy the food to feed them!! You can drive around as many times as you want. Kids would love this!! I would go back. Only issue is the animals are NOT well taken care of. They have deer, zebras, steer, emu, crocs, giraffes, camel, baby pigs, miniature horses, donkeys, alpacas, antelope, luma, ducks, Rams goats, bison, and ostriches and others.

Very inexpensive, you can go back through however many times you want to, the feed was cheap as well. My 10 and 2 year old LOVED it. The animals were very friendly and came right up to the car and let you pet then and ate from your hands. The staff was very friendly and honestly it was one of the least stressful things to do with Covid and all the restrictions and requirements going on. Its fun to be able to interact with animals. Some of the time I found myself questioning the care of the animals though. They all had matted fur. Not enough foliage. It made me wonder if there is a separate place they go during closed hours that they get vet attention and/or more foliage and such.

I do wish they would tell you that theres a chance your car could get scratched, I wasnt expecting that and if I wouldve known, it wouldve definitely kept me from coming because I did get my car scratched. Overall it was a fun time. I highly suggest to go earlier in the day as there was about 10 cars ahead of us. By the time we left the cars were backed all the way into the street. Loved seeing all the animals up close and feeding them. I really thought my car was going to get scratched from the cattle, but instead it was from the goat. He kept scratching at my car like my dog does when he wants attention. I am not the first from this little goat if you read the other reviews.

The reptile house is fantastic, the first time we visited there was an employee in the reptile house taking out the snakes and letting people pet and hold them, which made my day. It’s worth $10, very cool concept and vibes BUT the giraffe, camel and antelope are locked up and showing signs of depression so that really really sucks so much and because of that I can’t return. Definitely a different experience for the kids if they’re visiting these kind of Safari rides for the first time. There are animals like Cows, Bulls, Camel, Giraffe, Deer, Emu, Goat, Pony’s, etc and these are seen along your trail in the Safari journey. There are also some walking trails like Tortoise, Pig, Reptiles and Kangaroo trails. The cost of ticket per adult is $10 and kids below 2 are free. 100 percent better to hire the vehicle (SUV) provided by them which is $15 overall so that you will avoid your own vehicle from Scratch and dust. This SUV will hold easily 5 adults and we can further more have kids on our laps. Too much sweating it would be if the weather is too hot because people will stop for feeding and be careful the cows or bulls alone there are plenty out there and it’s horn is too big and can scratch your own vehicle. Coming to feeding animals they sell food in buckets ($5) and in cups ($1) and good to buy minimum 2 buckets since some animals rush on seeing car windows open for food and they crave for it you can complete the buckets easily. Reasons for 3 star rating are: Need a well maintained Rest rooms which is missing, they only have 3 SUVs for hire and we need to wait long time to get to your turn, Overall the Safari journey road can be maintained further more well, Giraffe feeding is a problem they should plan for some elevation to approach them easily, No snacks or soft drinks available there for immediate needs so plan for the same especially if you have kids, plenty of cows and definitely there are some opportunities for them to add more animals, Zebras were missing. Apart from these kids enjoyed the overall journey and outside trails. Plan with your friends and family otherwise it may be boring. If visited without much expectation you’ll enjoy this place.

This place is littered with plastic cups, visibly injured animals (the one that sticks in my mind in particular is a ram with a huge gash in his horn covered in flies) and the animals that are in enclosures have way too small enclosures (the giraffe has an entirely too small enclosure). After I visited I did a brief google search of this place and the owners and it’s not shocking that they treat their animals and their business this way. If you care at all about animals do not give this place and these people your money!

Best decision we ever made. Be aware that you can rent a vehicle in case you have a car you dont want animals coming up to (possibly scratched). Buy more than one big bucket of pellets. The animals like the food pellets so much that they come at you for them. This is very much worth the trip!

I do not have a very high opinion of this place as a so-called Nature Preserve. The kindest word I can use to describe this place is shabby. I found the staff to be rude and the animals, although magnificent, do not appear to be well treated from day to day.I havent been there in 3 years, and Im only posting now because I recently watched Tiger King on Netflix, and I have grown to find these types of places deplorable. Someone told me that they receive a government subsidy to help support their private business efforts. As a taxpayer, Im not okay with that. But, like I said, I havent been there in 3 years, so it may be greatly improved. However, based on some of the reviews on here, I do not believe that is the case.
