Decent little park nice views and picturesque. Not a whole lot of shade but still a pleasant and gorgeous place I have to admit. Its in a residential area so please be respectful of the place wherever and whenever its visited. For that matter any place you adventure to. :)
Today it was pretty mellow. Not too much noise and no one bothered me as I relaxed out on the grass by the duck pond for a while.
Clean, large, lots of families, and plenty of room for social distancing.
There are a lot of Geese so if you like that small peaceful minus the geese noises, Lol!
Small and quiet just perfect for dog walking..
Ill always have a soft spot in my heart for Greer Park. As a much younger man I got a home run over the fence in an adult coed slow pitch softball game. The last one Ill ever hit, Im sure. The fence is on the shallow side, and a bit low, but it counts it you clear it! Parking is a little lacking off of McFadden, if full, try to park from inside the track on the other side of the park.
Very nice park but the only down side was there were 2 men practicing their batting skills. Balls went over and almost hit our kids. Playground is too close to the baseball field
Great park! Lots of shade and the kids have so much fun on the playgrounds.
Stop feeding the birds.
A beautiful park.
Love this place! Needs a little T.L.C. though
It was wet from the rain, although I still got tto play with the grand kids that day there it wasnt so bad.
I mean, the lake is pretty nice. Its just super dirty. Feathers and poop everywhere..
There is a baseball field. Good enough for me. Sketchy homeless at this park.
As soon as you arrive the ducks will come to you, waiting to be feed, they are friendly and this is a quiet area to stop at to read a book or just take a walk.
Fave pop park to go too lol
VERY GOOOOOOOOOOOOD
Small park great for softball, basketball courts also area for kids at playground
Theres a little lake here, and it looks like every attempt is made to tend to this park, including signs warning against feeding the birds, but I once saw someone drive up, pull out a large bag and toss quite a bit of what looked like bread out to the huge flock of geese, coots and ducks, so people arent heeding the sign, and bird messes are thick on the grass. Still, these birds and the white pelicans on the far side of the lake are worth visiting.
Awesome park
Nice park. Lots of birds and some turtles around.
I like the gooses
Can I fishing there with no license??? Can someone tell me!! Plz
Id go sit here and study sometimes...minus the bird poop everywhere, it was very peaceful and relaxing...too difficult to eat my lunch there like I wanted but Id eat it in the car and simply watch the birds. Excellent place for photographers!
Another part of the hood 50+ yrs
My granddaughters practice place and softball games good place
Its a good park. not over run with people.
Disliked went there to fish theres nothing in the pond, they should rest stock it. Water is murky and dirty. The city should really look into this
Great
Always clean and well maintained. Great little park.
Very nice little pocket park in Huntington Beach. The area around the pond is a cool hangout, if the geese allow it.
Vagrants frequent this park but usually peaceful. Nets on basketball courts have been in bad shape for sevetal years now. I and some others have rigged up nets to play here.
Lots of trees, playground and a baseball field. Next to a nice community. Good place for a softball game.
Small but quant park. Was the only one there during lunch time. Perfect little place to have a quiet relaxing time away from people.
Nice neighborhood park.
I just like the peace and quiet of the park. I ride my bike through the park almost every day and the people that I meet are very friendly.
Nice gathering beautiful day.
Col. Jack Greer Park is located at 6900 McFadden Avenue in Huntington Beach. Greer Park is a 10.438 acre community park with a softball field, playground, two basketball courts, swing sets, benches, a large grass area, and picnic tables. Greer Park is very popular with Huntington Beach residents.
Nice for walk and feed the ducks
Pelicans also visit this man made lake
Really pretty place to chill, and the lake makes it feel bigger than it actually is. Used to be the spot back in the day, would play basketball and then kick back, I miss it.
Nice place
Cute little area park that has fishing, Canadian geese, ducks, fishing & occasionally pelicans.
Beautiful area...
Saw this huge white fish. Lots of turtle.
Very clean park. Nice and quiet.
A baseball field and a basketball court and like 7 small pinic benches.
We usually go their for an evening walk..nice and peaceful
Help was horrible. Kept trying to update card without asking specific reasons why. Twice in one day. Escalators out of ORDER!!!!
