Love this park. Loads of space nice kept up grounds. Looking for a nice place to be outside and safe this is your park. Get your camera & tripod great photo moments
Beautiful recreation and scenic outing stretching miles through the urban concrete busy life of Houston.Note, in August its HOT! A metal kiosk in the shade was so hot I went back to check it with infrared thermometer, see Pic 122-125°f readings. The park, trails and entertainment venues are awesome though & aside from the heat and occasional pan handler or homeless encounter usually family friendly & beautiful. (see prior posts for more pics)Parking can get full in best weather busy times & you do have to pay a meter for parking. Handicap parking is readily available throughout the trails.
Just went roller blading the other day and from where i can travel with wheels on my feet, it was wonderful. Beautiful scenery. Long enough paths to enjoy time
This such an amazing park with sooo much to offer. Lets start with the view. I think this is the spot to view Downtown Houstons stunning skyline. But beyond that it is the perfect spot of a picnic, walk/run, bike and workout. It is so picturesque that so many people are getting their portraits taken at different spots in the park. I look forward to exploring it further.
So so so beautiful! I love this place and woukd come here all the time, if I lived closer. I love walking around and seeing all the pretty plants, trees, and butterflies. Very relaxing place for me
What a fantastic urban park. Love this place, always buzzing with life. Some of the best skyline views in the city. Go here after a good meal and walk it off!
So much going on here!! It’s awesomeWithin walking distance for me! It’s sooo convenient. I love it.
Great place to ride bikes! The scenery is the perfect mix of the great outdoors and concrete jungle. This is a great place to relax and take in the vibes of H town.
This park is obviously beautiful. It was the perfect setting for a 30th birthday couples picnic that I pulled off for my clients along with my friendors. The parking is scarce though which is a drawback and if you miss your exit you have to go alllllllll the way around which is time consuming but other than that it was beautiful. Sorry such shady photos we were under the Pavillion
My older sis took photos there. Not far from projects though. But ourphoto guy lives in industrial district so thats ok. It so chill and beautiful! Family friendly, plenty of photo ops, and tons of people exercising.
Night time is best to go. You can get some amazing photos if the weather is just right. The park is pet friendly and lots of space to keep your distance.
Back in the fall of 2019 when I workout at the park. I enjoy the atmosphere of the park and used to go there a few times a week. I’ll eventually go there again, once a week, to do some more parkour and workouts. (Pic taken in October 2019).
A great place to enjoy the all your dog or ride your bike. Has a VERY nice view of HTX downtown too!

A beautiful place for hiking, biking, picnicking, photos shoots, or simply relaxing, a place for everyone to enjoy.
A lot of fun for a good long walk along the bayou. Nice time to get away from work for a few minutes
It’s a great park to have a picnic or walk/run. It’s also great for photography and enjoying the nice skyline view. It has many trails. You can see the skate park from there. The love lock fence is just beside this park on a pedestrian bridge which resembles the famed Pont des Arts bridge in Paris. The chain link live lock fence holds dozens of love locks placed by H-town lovers. No entry fee. Huge parking lot. It’s open 24 hours.
Beautiful park. Great for taking trips around to enjoy the view.
Beautiful scenery. I loved watching the turtles dive into the water from the rocks.
Beautiful day with clean, fresh air. Great open area to picnic, exercise, and visit with friends

It was beautiful. If you go early, youll find a parking spot.
Houston’s skyline is one of the most surreal views in the entire United States, and Eleanor Tinsley Park is the best place to view it on foot. For that reason alone, it is a must-visit for anyone wishing to thoroughly travel America. The atmosphere of the park is very pleasant. People laying down and reading, people playing sports, people jogging, people walking. Crowds of happy-looking people going in and out of the park. It’s extremely difficult to leave this place with a negative impression.
Absolutely stunning! Great place to social distance and just relax!
Great place to run and nice to have a break in nature during lunch time while working downtown

Awesome people. Very professional and very caring
Great park to come and lay down and relax
Did a charity event here and it was great. Love the park location. It was close this particular day but I have been there on days that it was open. Really enjoy seeing the city from this perspective. Will continue to visit as they add new little fun areas. Great for pictures as well.
Nice place to walk. Very pretty. Love the bats!
Great place to escape the city life within the city. Parking is only $1 for 3 hours which is amazing and gives you more than enough time to get in a great scenic bike ride, walk, run, jog, or stroll through Eleanor Tinsley Park. Even the with Hurricane Harvey flooding City of Houston and volunteers are working fast to rebuild and revamp. Tip: have camera ready lots of rabbits, bunnies, and great scenes of Houston to capture! Enjoy!
At 520 am on a rainy Monday this was the recharge I needed. Great way to start the week. I’ve been using the park for rest, relaxation, exploration and exertion in my quest to get in better shape. It’s amazing and a gem in this terrific city.
Love coming here. Been coming to this park since I was a little boy knee high to a grasshopper. Its only gotten better with time. Bring your family
Great tour 9f the Bayou Park Cistern. It is informative and visually delightful. Its about 30 minutes long and a short walk. Best of all it is free on Thursdays.
Beautiful place to bring your kids or for adults. Very clean place!
Very nice park.
Nice park, with very friendly people of various backgrounds working out, walking dogs or playing sports. In this particular day we were out having a drone workshop with a small group of people. Everyone enjoyed watching the drone operations and was a great attraction for inquiring kids. A great location to get a nice view of downtown Houston.
Beautiful place. More people should see this.
Its a great bike ride or walk! The blue light system is also a great feature and its beautiful along the bayou at dusk.
Beautiful park, I enjoy going there .. the only thing I dont like is the bikes, you have to watch out for the bikes all the times, I hope they could find another route for the bikes
Very big... Peaceful.... Nice for walking and great view!!
Excellent park to relax, exercise, walk, bike, picnic. Great views of downtown Houston. You can rent a bike to discover this beautiful park.

Great place to exercise and enjoy nature. Many paths that are scenic and relaxing. Offers a variety of workout options, walking, jogging, stairs, hills, flat plains.
We always enjoy walking around this park!.
First Fourth of July in Houston Texas, my family and I enjoyed it a lot we look forward to many more!!
Quite relaxing during the day just to take a walk.
The park is invisible for bike riding and jogging. Unfortunately, there is trash everywhere and the park is not well cleaned. If it were clean and pristine would get a 10 star!
Best park in Houston! Spectacular view of downtown!
Sweet place to go with family to work out or just sight seeing.
Clean space for walking, jogging and biking. Plenty of open space for picnics and just enjoying nature.
Very nice walking area, but park is shut down due to covid.
This is perhaps the best section of the Bayou. While parking can be rough it is worth it for a great picnic location or a place to play some sports with your friends. I would recommend trying to park in another section and walk here. Enjoy the sun
Very well put together clean and even with a crowd in the 0000plus it was still an enjoyable experience
