Great area and people.
Nice cruise and very interesting. Good value too.
Nice trail, I recommend walking in a group of two or more. You definitely can see wildlife while on a walk. Its quiet and peaceful, very green. Its about a 1 mile walk to the end and 1 mile back. Lots of mosquitoes, so dont forget bug spray. Parking is okay, theres not that much room. I would definitely come again.
Nice place but the trash and dope bags out there isnt cool at all. I have a 4 year old son that points out the drug bags like there should be someone out there checking this stuff out. Like wildlife afficitial
I love any place that has natural scenery.
This is a true gem right in our own back yard, there are no public facilities or service area. The walk is very pleasant but some of the signs identifying local plants and trees are worn off. It is much more pleasant in early spring as the heat in the summer brings hoards of gnats, great for outdoor photography.
5$ boat launch, easy access with plenty of parking.
Flora to delight. Alligators seen.
Incredible short trail. A little muddy. We saw Yellow Rumped Warbler, an Osprey chasing off an American Eagle, White Ibis, Great Egret, Cat Bird, and spectacular vegetation. Walk slowly and observe.
Very cool place but not much to do on foot
My family loves walking through there
Actualy it was a tour with Anne Millers Son. Great scenery. Beautiful environment.
Neat little nature trail. It isnt very long, but you will probably get to see some local wildlife.
Its so beautiful it is eight off a highway but they have lull over slots I thought it was cool never seen the rare bird thats suppose to live there. But its funny bc this is in the middle of the city right on the aide of the main road no trail nothing is an overlook pull over appt lol
Short but beautiful rail, remote enough to see plenty of wildlife. Although, today June 5th, it was flooded and we had to get high rainboots to be able to continue. We were literally in the Bayou. (It was kinda cool I must admit)but it shouldnt have opened at all ( in the picture, it is the path!)
My kids love to go there to fish
One of Houmas best kept secrets. So pretty.
Really pretty swamp area and many Gators to see
Really nice area for viewing swamp habitat but a very short trail. You can walk in in under an hour.
During a swamp tour which was fabulous!
Cozy place for couples to walk through and enjoy the sights.
Nice walking trails, cool dock overlooking a pond.
Beautiful scenery.
We went onto the Reserve as a stop on a swamp tour
