It was a nice day today so my husband and I checked the trail out. My hopes werent too high to begin with so that helped. Has several trails not marked that could get confusing. Not very well maintained. Could be a very beautiful place if taken care of. All in all it was still nice to be outside and have a trail to walk on.

Beautiful, and peaceful spot to have a picnic!Take a stroll along the bank of a quiet little river or stop and fish a while! During the summer months there are events for the whole family!

Interesting place! We were actually looking for a Little Free Library thats supposedly there but we were not able to find it! We thoroughly enjoyed getting lost on the trails lol. It was very peaceful!

Jeffers Bend is a wonderful little place. It has a great hiking trail in the woods right in the middle of town, take kids fishing day is a great community activity, nature fest is fun, and it is well-kept and cared for. My family loves it there.

Great local place to take the kids. The small bird observation building is a huge plus with the small library inside.

Loved the butterfly garden until most of the Milkweed was pulled and more decorative flowers added. Monarchs need Milkweed. I used to go there and watch the monarchs for hours. There are hardly anything there as there is very minimal Milkweed

Since I have located this place, I have found it very relaxing for a quiet walk. I believe my dog is enjoying it, too. I love the different trails and how shady it is. There seems to never be anyone there and this what I like the best.

We really enjoyed this place it has some fishing places and over all a good walk around atmosphere.

Awesome things happening at the bend. Wonderful year round activities. The area is well kept.

Great place to walk and let kids fish

We love the entire area. You have to go down thenroad through the cemetery to get to it. Occasionally you can go through the back way where the qaurry is. The childrens garden area with the butterfly garden and waterfall are in the back behind the small vehicle storage areas. Alot of the other highlights are behind the trees in the front of the parking lot. The small window on wildlife building has a free library in it. My kids like to read a book and sit on the benches waiting for birds after they put seed in the feeders. The small pond is nice to take a walk around. Weve seen small wildlife like turtles and chipmunks in the wooded area in the back. They host many family events through the year. Many of those are free. Usually theyre $5 for a carload. Our family favorite has been the William Tell Halloween event.

Nice trails and park area, especially when the water is flowing well. The lake area is sometimes polluted. The events held are good for families.

It is beautiful but looks abandoned. Ive been there three times and only saw people once.
