Ive only been to the park on sunny days with few other people there and when the visitor center is closed; its very attractive and the monument area is concise. Its easy to walk around and view the various monuments and tributes, and pleasant to sit in the shade and reflect on them. The site of the encampment is located across a small walking bridge from the parking lot and provides a good sized area to walk and think. As I come from outside the area, the park was a revelation to me; I did not expect it and was impressed that this area was set aside to commemorate and document this tragic period of history. I found it inspirational to see that this history was not being dismissed or disguised.
Nice little park...picnic tables. Has a frisbee golf range. A small river and bridge so theres some cool little photo ops. You can see and feel the history here. Good place to walk or jog lots of shade to cool off.
For anyone who wants to see the museum all you need to do is go to the visitor center Monday-Friday and theyll be glad to help you.
Enjoy the Pokemon stops and the disk golf course. Excellent please to visit nice walking path.
Amazing park, full of interesting trails and historical markers.
First time coming here.. The Crazy Crow powwow was also taking place. Loved it here, very sacred grounds !
Great place for walks but the disc golf course sucks. Whoever designed it must never have played disc golf.
The small museum has good information, and a nice Native American exhibit. The information pathway leading to the memorial is easily walked.
It was nice, the trail needs to be cleaned a little.
This park is small but excellent. Curator of the museum is very knowledgeable. Thank you.
My best freind lives there. Every year we go there and I love it. We like like the native americans!
Very interesting place to learn about the tragedy inflicted on the Cherokee in the 1830s.

There is a wonderful vibe to this place that one needs to experience.
A memorial in Hopkinsville, KY to the American Indians who camped here along the Trail of Tears. The grounds are beautiful with the stream passing through the site.
