Love history, even if its not pretty. Sometimes you have to see this side of history to understand. Well maintained park has a meditation area and great visual area. Story time is worth the experience. If your into American history this is a must.

Very nice park, very well maintained. Been a couple times, and the Powwow held there every September one time and hope to go again. The museum is small, but packed with interest artifacts and the Lady we spoke to on the days we visited was very nice and knowledgeable.

Ive only been to the park on sunny days with few other people there and when the visitor center is closed; its very attractive and the monument area is concise. Its easy to walk around and view the various monuments and tributes, and pleasant to sit in the shade and reflect on them. The site of the encampment is located across a small walking bridge from the parking lot and provides a good sized area to walk and think. As I come from outside the area, the park was a revelation to me; I did not expect it and was impressed that this area was set aside to commemorate and document this tragic period of history. I found it inspirational to see that this history was not being dismissed or disguised.

Nice little park...picnic tables. Has a frisbee golf range. A small river and bridge so theres some cool little photo ops. You can see and feel the history here. Good place to walk or jog lots of shade to cool off.

Great place for walks but the disc golf course sucks. Whoever designed it must never have played disc golf.

The small museum has good information, and a nice Native American exhibit. The information pathway leading to the memorial is easily walked.

A memorial in Hopkinsville, KY to the American Indians who camped here along the Trail of Tears. The grounds are beautiful with the stream passing through the site.
