Our family is traveling the country and we were able to visit/stay through the Harvest Host program. We loved meeting the owners and learning more about their businesses. Casey Jones Distillery is definitely one of our favorites! We had a wonderful tasting and tour. They have a bar on site and you must try a Stoplight! It’s delicious. After hours we were able to continue to enjoy the grounds. We ate dinner on the back deck and watched the sunset over the pond. It was absolutely perfect and very relaxing!
Staff nice and knowledgeable. Got a chance to meet owner and he told us a story about his grandfather. Enjoyed the experience. Beautiful sunset view helped. Moonshine and bourbon were tasty!
What an awesome place to visit! My boyfriend and I visited the distillery yesterday and had a fun time. The tasting was given by an employee named Joy who was very knowledgeable about the story and history of Casey Jones. She made us feel very comfortable and we laughed a lot. The tour was fun and the bar was also open so you could have a drink while taking the tour. The gift shop is full of great stuff. I would definitely recommend stopping by this great place!
If you get a chance this place is awesome! True small batch bourbon and moonshine. The staff is amazing, thank you Cailee for an amazing tour and Happy Birthday. We will definitely be back to this beautiful spot and a fan of this distillery that is so full of family history.
Me and my family had a wonderful time at Casey Jones, beautiful scenery! Our tour guide Cailee was very knowledgeable and friendly her jokes were also very much appreciated. Made it more fun and interesting. Would recommend!
This is a very small family owned distillery.Every one was super friendly and the owner was there during our tour and gave us some special insight to the distillation process. The moonshine and bourbon were exceptionalWe will tell everyone passing through to stop at Casey Jones distillery
We stopped in on our way back home to NW Indiana and was greeted by a lady who asked if I we were there for a tour, I told her I just wanted to buy a couple bottles but would like to sample before I bought, she took me inside and told me the lady inside would take care of me. She was taking care of a rather talkative man while I waited, no big deal. I waited about 10 minutes, then the greeter bright in another couple who was going to take the your, Mary was still getting her was talked off (again, not her fault) and the couple went looking around. The two ladys that worked there were deciding who was going to start the tour and take care of guests. The whole time Im waiting by the samples while my wife and son were looking at other products (a good selection of stuff I might add). At this point its been 15-20 minutes and one of the ladys started helping the other couple who came in later than us. I have still yet to even be acknowledged. So I asked my wife if she just wanted to leave, one of the ladys looked at me, but didnt say a word, my wife asked if I was sure I didnt want to wait anymore, still nothing from the staff, so we left. Nothing, no attempt to try and save a sale by saying anything like Im sorry, well be right with you or anything. When we reached the highway and had cell phone service again I called and spoke to a man who was very apologetic and nice who tried making it up to me, but at this point we were already back on the road.Im pretty disappointed because it seemed like a cool place with lots of swag that I wouldve put up in my lounge along with spirits I wouldve put on my shelf and most likely enjoyed. Now Ill never find out. This would be 1 star if it wasnt for the man on the phone.
Our overnight stay in our RV was awesome! This was our first Harvest Host experience and they were so accommodating! The moonshine tasting and tour was fun and we purchased some to take home!
A great place to visit if youre looking for some good Kentucky bourbon or whiskey. They have a nice selection of distilled spirits.
Amazing staff, very informative and a great history! Definitely one of the best distilleries in the state!
Had a great time, got to fill, cap, and label my own bottle.
You get a beautiful sense of arrival driving to the distillery. Fields of snow and cows greeted us as we drove towards the distillery. It was so serene, peaceful, and surreal. When we entered, bags were prepared for us to take with brochures, a shot glass, etc. Very different from the usual tour. The distillery is only four years old. They will be having their bourbon available in November. I cant wait.Ashley was the most fun, quick, and hilarious tour guide I ever met. She was very authentic and real. She instantly made me smile and laugh. It was our first bourbon and moonshine tour. I loved the Peachmoonarita moonshine the most. Apple and Heaven were my second favorites. Cant wait to bring my friends here.
I work at the Distillery. Its a great place to work and go to for a good time and learn a few things.
Great tour and tasting. Super informative and friendly sampling of their wide array of products. I was lucky enough to have a beautiful day to tour their grounds and left feeling happy, warm and with a trunk full of ‘shine.
Caylee (I think thats how you spell it) did an amazing job as our tour guide and giving us backgroud information leading to the opening of Casey Jones Distillery
We arrived close to closing time and everyone was so nice. We tasted and it was awesome!
Great staff, very knowledgeable about the history and process. Great tasting experience!!!!
We had the pleasure of spending the night on the grounds through our Harvest Hosts membership. One of our favorite stays so far! The grounds are spectacular, the staff and owners treat you like family! And we really enjoyed the moonshine! My fav was the barrel cut. Cant wait to stop back through next year to try the bourbon! . Thanks for the hospitality!
I saw their sign while driving by, and am glad I did; This is definitely one of my favorite Bourbon Trail stops! A family run craft distillery with a full tour, covering everything from the history in the moonshining days to the current bottling set up, so you can learn a lot and get to know the folks behind it.Everybody there is super nice - I got a chance to hang out with the owner/master distiller and to try shine straight off the still. The liquor is also well worth the stop. I particularly recommend the Total Eclipse moonshine, which is complex and interesting. They have a bar if youre in to wine or beer, and a neat space for weddings or parties. Definitely check it out if you get a chance.
Local, cozy, boutique distillery that has a lot to offer. Great products including a just released bourbon that is very good. Be sure to take the tour and check out their event venue. We will be back!
Wonderful owner! Great staff. Had a really nice time here and learned a lot.
Great old time feel. Step back in time to the old ways of shine making. Much better taste than some of the touristy places.
Great place to visit. Friendly people and lots of spirits.
Outstanding tour and tasting. Loved the setting.
I bought a half gallon of hand sanitizer online and it shipped fast and arrived quickly (within a few days) to Indiana. I liked it so much I ordered 2 more jugs. This stuff is great. It does not leave a sticky residue on your hands but instead leaves them feeling soft. I work in a warehouse and use this all day. My hands do not dry out when using this product compared to other sanitizers I have used.If you are looking for a high quality product then look no further. Buy this! Just get yourself some small spray bottles.I had never heard of this place before but I think a trip to the distillery is in order in the future to sample some more of what they have to offer.
So this was my favorite distillery before I started working there...out of the 45+ I’ve been to. Please come by and let me and the rest of our amazing staff show y’all a great time and let you taste our amazing ‘shine!
Moonshine on a new level! The owners gave us a tour and AJ signed our bottles. Really neat place to visit and the peach tea is to die for!
My favorite place to go from the atmosphere to the scenery to the awesome workers and of course the best drinks around
Great times there. Good folks. Wife and I really enjoyed our time there. If your looking for something to do in Hopkinsville, go there.
Fun tour. Quick, not too much walking. Muscadine Moonshine was a real treat!
Great tour, and awesome spirits. Everyone on staff was super friendly.
Peg was very informative. We really enjoyed our visit.
Allows for a tour for underage aswell as adults, no drinking under 21.Fun, informative on alcohol history.
Awesome place. Very friendly and helpful staff
Educational and a pleasant place to be. The tour of the distillery was very informative. The tour guide had answers for all the questions from our group. She also let us know they were having an event soon with some bands and some ppl would be camping out.Fun under the sun and the stars with drinks and live music! Hope to see you there!!!
Fun place to visit the people here have a lot of hospitality. Fun and educational. Best moonshine Ive had.
Great place very friendly staff seem to know about the products
Cute distillery and place in the heart of KY Country. Loved my time there.
Amazing place to visit and very reasonably priced. Loved our time there
Casey Jones Distillery is a perfect intimate tour of a beautiful production plant with the grandson of the original creator on property and friendly as can be. The tasting will definitely leave you surprised with how much you enjoy ALL their varieties, and the guided tour was small, personal, and very informative. Definitely stop by the bar on your way out for a great mixed drink or some delicious bourbon/whiskey specials. As part of the whiskey tour this will definitely be a favorite and the family atmosphere will impress
Incredible experience. Family owned,Run, and operated. The tour is chill and intimate, and a lot of fun. Had an absolute blast and will be going back. Don’t forget your passport!!
We are from Burnside Ky and came over to visit family in Sinking Fork, we decided to stop in for a visit. Such nice people! The tasting was awesome! Met the master distiller.....he was so nice. We plan on stopping in again next visit to Hoptown. Just good folks!
I bought hand sanitizer from CJD which is an essential product in these times. I received it only two days after placing my order. It was affordable and the customer service was excellent. Great product; excellent business.
What a fun place with a beautiful atmosphere! Definitely will be back to enjoy again with friends.
This place is a must visit. Amazing people, delicious spirits, and a welcoming atmosphere to boot.
A unique combination of history and moonshine. Our guide did a wonderful job of bringing the story of Casey Jones to life. You more than get your moneys worth on this tour. The venue looks amazing although I look forward to checking it out when it isnt raining.
I purchased some sanitizer from these folks and the bottle leaked. NO BIG DEAL! So I reached out to them to let them know and BOOM they made it rite that day! We are not talking sent me to ten customer service people or dragged their feet NO they owned the experience and made it awesome! I bought from them because I liked the name now I will make a point of driving to Hopkinsville to thank them personally as soon as its safe to do so! Thanks for being great people in a tough time.
Excellent place to enjoy a great drink.
Great people. Good products.
Loved the tasting and the tour! There are such amazing people that work there, you feel like family! The most gorgeous view of the lake as a waterfall from their event venue room!! Thanks so much from the folks from Michigan!!
Bought 80% alcohol hand sanitizer. A must have during this time of a need. Reasonable price. Highly recommend their product.
Quaint little tour with a great history. Beautiful views, and smooth moonshine! Be sure to check them out!!
Ordered their 80% ethyl alcohol hand sanitizer, and ups sent it back. I messaged Casey Jones distillery, sent them order info, and they said my original was damaged and sent another to me immediately. Like so immediately, it got to my house before I got home from work the next day! Less than 24 hours after notifying them of a problem! Awesome price seeing as how sanitizer is hard to find and super expensive right now. And super awesome customer service!
So glad we made this stop. Delicious moonshine!
Very good tour. We really enjoyed the tour and the people.
Nice people with an interesting story. Short tour, but inexpensive.
Love this place—great drinks and event space.
I bought hands sanitizer, quick shipping. and the reason i bought it from your company bc it is USA company, made in USA ! support our country, the quality no1! thank you
I live in NH and hand sanitizer is the hardest product to find. Being partially disabled and high risk with this virus floating around, I do all my shopping online. This company popped up on my FB newsfeed so I thought Id give them a try. On June 5th the Post Ofc couldnt deliver my order due to package leaking. Disappointed late Friday I had to wait til Monday to contact CJD about my order. I spoke with AJ explained about the leaking package. He was very apologetic and told me hed have another bottle sent out . Within a couple hours I received an email notification that my replacement bottle was on its way. Yesterday I received my new bottle leak free yay!Thank you AJ it is a pleasure doing business with a Made in America company.
It truly was a very interesting tour. Very authentic area. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining.
What an awesome place! We enjoyed the tasting & great conversation! Cant wait to get to our place in Florida so we can enjoy our Moonarita kit with friends. Well definitely be stopping by again.
I bought hand sanitizer that is pure liquid, think cheap rubbing alcohol. Twenty dollars for 64 ounces, absolutely useless. Dont buy this product, you are better off just spitting on your hands..
This was an AWESOME place to visit! Great product & history. Please check it out if ever in the area. We were so happy we took the break here from a long road trip. Picked up lots of delicious product, too.
If youre looking for a venue, I highly recommend Casey Jones Distillery! One of our Soldiers who live in Hopkinsville had went here a few times for their distillery tour and for their free summer music concerts, and it was highly recommended by them. There are tons of beautiful pictures of the place if you need to see what it looks like (which I appreciated a lot, because I hate when venues post like 10 pictures of the same spot).I spoke with Peg (who I think is one of the owners, Im not sure because she never said if she was/wasnt). I was completely surprised by the personal attention because I had called the business phone, and the recording left an alternate number if you didnt want to leave a message. When I called, Peg was driving but told me to text her with the details and shell get back to me.She replied right away to my texts, I didnt have to wait days or even hours. I let her know this was a military event and what our budget was, and incredulous to me, she actually went out of her way to make sure we would be able to host it there. I appreciate this so much because obviously they are a business and have bills they need to pay themselves, so this show of support for our Soldiers at Fort Campbell did not go unnoticed (especially when other similar businesses we had called were trying to nickel and dime for just about everything). They have a BEAUTIFUL deck overlooking a pond, and an equally spacious and beautiful enclosed patio that overlooks the pond and deck. I hope they have continued successes because they just seem so nice that I want them to be very successful!
Very friendly staff. Clean and really nice setting. Yummy moonshine mixed drinks and moonshine popsicles!
Ty for coming threw, with my girlfriend recovering from her chemo treatment and this dam covid.. I was not prepared. Ty for not gouging..
Very friendly and very informative as well
Good good people good product fair price
Hello I am a prime otr truck driver. Just wanted to thank you all for the hand sanitizer. It really helps, keeps me healthy & these wheels rolling. God bless.
Interesting history, tour and tasting. Glad we saw the sign on I-24. It was worth the trip.
Best moonshine! Loved the place.
On more than one occasion, over a two hour stay, I overheard two employees gossip and giggle about my family. It was uncomfortable, inappropriate, and extremely unprofessional. Wouldn’t recommend.
This tour was especially fun. In the early 1900s members of the family were illegal bootleggers, making the history of the distillery very interesting. If for no other reason, it is worth the tour just to take in the beauty of the location.
Nice little set up they have, really good moonshine. Love the free samples.
Legal moonshine??.never thought I would pair these two words together. They let you sample tiny communion cup samples of their entire selection which is a rare thing so cudos to them!
If I had the budget for an actual wedding, I would have highly considered booking this distillery as my venue. Beautiful location, and a cute little bar space. Their moonshines and whiskys are good as well, and we have come back here just to buy some whisky as a gift.
Had a great time today. Mary was our guide and she was very knowledgeable about whiskey. We got a great tour and tasting. Huge newer place. I could see having a big group here with no problem. Was fun and educational! Add it to your whiskey tour!
Neat place to tour, the whiskey is excellent. Wish we brought more home with us
Fun time tonight! Great music and good spirits. Well done Casey Jones Distillery.
Kelly the best tour guide everNice tour and tasting
Wonderful customer service for their hand sanitizer orders. Thanks Cody and AJ!
Love this place! Friendly staff and tasty shine!!
Just received my order thank you outstanding customer support during this difficult time. Stay safe
Nice place, had a food truck with great brisket!
Fairly new distillery. Very clean and bright. People were very friendly - prices seemed a bit high but it did not stop me from purchasing items from a great store selection.
Great products. Especially enjoyed the Barrel Cut moonshine, very similar in taste to a good quality bourbon. Staff was very knowledgeable and kind. Only reason for 4 stars is tours start at the top of every hour. We arrived 5 minutes late and were told to wait until next tour. Im good with that. However, the next tour began 30 minutes late due to a large group arriving a few minutes late, so we had to wait further. But, the tour was interesting and Casey Joness grandson was there at the end to talk about how he got started.
Great place to come visit, very friendly staff and an amazing place to see with a great history behind this distillery!! This is truly a local gem. Great place to have private venue as well, and there events are absolutely amazing with something for everyone and all ages, please come give the gang a visit you will not regret it!!!
Great place to go!!
It was our first time there. The staff was friendly, the owners came out and talk to us. They had several places to sit and have a drink. A patio out front, a lake out back with picnic tables set up in the shade. We will be back again, on one of our many road trips.
Great place to visit friendly people nice little Distillery great moonshine
Amazing tour very hands on and engaging. Super sweet couple ! Rosie was the best.
