Great experience! Although the sea was quite rough, the instructors made me stand and ride the waves. I booked a group lesson with James and Nika, they did a fantastic job. We were only 3 students, so we got a lot of rides for our money. The team was very friendly and explained everything in detail. I got great photos for additional 30$. The prices are really fair in comparison to other schools at Waikiki.

ThievesI gave my credit card to hold for renting a surfboard from Koa Beach Service as they required. I have never used the card for anything else and I am now at home and received my credit card statement and there are some strange charges. I called Koa Beach Service, that I left my card with as required by them. I asked the girl answering why I am seeing some strange charges on my credit card and she said I needed to talk to Ron. So I waited a while and boss guy finally answered and I tried to explain about the strange charges, but he just tried to out talk me and said his staff are honest. I tried to explain again, but he again out talked me by saying they are honest. I just gave up on trying to explain and hung up. Disputed the charges and asked for a replacement with new credit card numbers.

If you are military the prices cant be beat. Friendly service as well.

Koa beach service is great! They have a great selection of beach equipment and are super nice! I even lost my wedding ring in the ocean and they helped me find it! Highly recommended!

My wife and I took surfing lessons with James and photographer Josh and it was amazing. Excellent instructor, great attention to detail and just overall great service. The staff was top notch and we had a phenomenal experience. I’m hooked.

Just wanted a paddle board for an hour. Got one. Saw turtles. Awesome. The boundaries are kinda restrictive but not really.

Great Surfing lessons and instructors. We have signed our son up for a group lessons here, the instructors spend lots of time with each student and extra time with the younger people to ensure they have the fundamentals down. Best lessons we have paid for on Oahu!

Dont go there. We rented a kayak for $30 for 1 hour (expensive). We were very close to the rental hut and they never told us our time was up. When we came back, they told us we went over our time and demanded another $25! Then they had the nerve to try to sell us pictures of ourselves for $20! I would definitely not recommend this place. There are lots of other rental places that will treat you better. Plus the employees had bad hygiene. They smelled really bad.

With well over an hour and a half left before closing, the guys were too busy curling their dumbbell rather than renting to me. Poor service if you ask me as I had cash in hand. Management needs to know the lazy attitude, and maybe Im not blonde enough????

These guys are the friendliest guys on the beach. Plenty of space of umbrellas, chairs, rental boards, and kayaks.
