Beautiful place at the end of the road from Hilo. Great views of the ocean and surf. Mostly I nice quiet place to hang out. On a nice clear day Mauna Kea can be seen rising majestically above the island through the trees.

This place is magical. The setting is breathtaking and seems out of this world. A glimpse into the past on the purity of the world. Check it out (hopefully it’s not raining).

Very beautiful and spacious. Nice undeveloped area without lawns. Great place for a family picnic or an afternoon of fishing.

Really cool spot. Different from most others, like a clean swamp cold water ponds, nice view of the bay.

Great Winter day in Hilo to take in the lagoons of Keaukaha!

Nice large park, numerous course sand ponds and beaches as well as lots of rocky shoreline as well. Great Place for family gatherings.

No shower bring a jug, wet hide your phone, amazing be love bring love leave it as you left it clean it and have fun.

Its a nice place for some beautiful pictures. Also several different places to swim. There is an Old breakwall that you can walk, a short fairly easy hike to a separate pool. very nice place. The downfall is there are no restrooms, no electricity or Pavilions. And no Plumbing. Still a very nice place to visit on the big island

It is a gorgeous peaceful amazing place. Cant wait to go back next year.

Beautiful spot, nice and secluded. There really is not much of a beach here. Still glad we came out.

Out of the way beach in Hilo. Not too crowded, maybe because its winter

Its a simple beach with rich history. Swimming areas are scattered throughout made up of pebbles and larger boulders, pine and other trees create shaded areas, you can also do a little fishing here, on a good day the breeze is absolutely lovely. Also as a reminder roadway is a bit rocky and youll fell a bump or two. Our LilOhana Loves it here .

It is pretty but there isn’t much to do, you can’t go in the water because there are snakes and big rocks. It really depends on if you just want to sit around and watch the waves.

It was high tide so I could really get to. The beach...looks like fun

I love the peacefulness. Not a lot of people. Great if u like to meditate.

Space was limited, but it is a great place to hangout while your kid is at the skatepark.

The best place to park and chill. Everybody comes here to kick it. Rite now. Plenty good views and low-key duck off spots.

This beautiful area is just past the end of the road. Often you have to cross a small stream to get to the sandy bottom lagoon with tiny beach. I have not explored too far into the park, but theres very few people here during the day, it feels private and dreamy. On a sunny day its just gorgeous.

Drive carefully (miserable dirt road) until the concrete rocks forming some kind of parking lot. Walk along the shore and be prepared to wade through some water. Clear pins to swim in, while the surf splashes on the other side of the rocks.

Not a beach, just a nice quiet park. Lots of locals. Getting in I would recommend a car with some clearance but can be done with a econ car.

This ijs the worst place to go to, cars are broken into constantly, there are people down there using meth all the time. Parking sucks, the rod is njot maintained. Police are not out there often. The area reeks of death and decay.
