We horse camped for 3 days. It was wonderful. There is water and bathrooms.
Great place to keep the restrooms nice too good place to get away.
Very laid back no hassles great place you want peace and solitude.
Nice place but we got blown out by 50 mph winds. Try setting up a tent in that. Apparently that happened a lot.
Really nice campground, unfortunately the gate isnt staffed as much as it was in the past so you have to call and make reservations ahead of time.County run, so cheaper and cleaner than the overcrowded dumpy State Park up the road. The back in RV sites are spacious. The walk-in tent sites are great too, some.are surrounded with Junipers for constant privacy, shade and wind protection.
Nice, clean and comfortable. Hadnt been there in over 20 years but its as relaxing as I remember.
Nice clean campground, has full hook up spots and pretty high desert scenary. Unfortunately there just isnt much around or actual things to do, so bring your own activities. Close drive to Silverwood lake or in to Hesperia.
Great place to get away from all the people who are so rude to me and my friends are going to start writing again and about this store.
Very nice, clean, quiet,A+++++
I feel sorry for this place, this should be a great summer spot for people to come. It has a nice cool breeze every afternoon until night when it slows down. I recommend this camp site for short and long term stay.
Quiet & spacious. Clean facilities. To note: we had terrible weather whwn we visited, so we had to pretty much stay put & didnt get the full experience. What we were able to see/do, great campground. Basically no T-Mobile reception, which I wouldve appreciated a lot more if I hadnt been stuck in the RV with little else to do
Very far out of the way and hard to find. Way to expensive ($40) to have absolutely NO amenities. Except for a couple restrooms, which were fairly clean, except for a strange odor in the womens showers.
I really love to come to this place. Every time we come the place is pretty much empty, which means more time in the great outdoors.
Nice campground
The ranger is not really good at his job
Nice place but watch out with directions it took me forever to get there.
Great campground quiet and secluded. Restrooms are workable but could be a bit cleaner.
Fun little place to visit and relax
My family and I were planning to go camping somewhere else that was full. They suggested this location and I couldnt have been happier. The facilities are clean and stocked. It was a simple process and the rangers came around often, not bothering, just making sure we were safe. I had a wonderful time and will go back soon.
You must like reading, because theres not much to do. Expensive for what it is.
Very quiet and roomy and clean. Woke up to burros at our campsite. The bad part gates close at 4 so if your not here by 4 make sure you ask for a code or you cant get in
Not a choice location, however the awesome staff and the clean campground keep us coming back. Year after Year. We started camping there when it was $ 7.00 a night for camping. Walk in mind you. We didnt care. You couldnt beat it for the price. Here in So. Cali anyway. Now it is $ 25 to 30 a night for walk in camping. With the economy such as it is. We may as well go to a hotel, for a few extra bucks. There is no running water there ie fishing, lazy river swimming. No attractions, other than rattlesnakes and mountain lions. yet they are charging more than anywhere else. I dunno..... We love it here. Until something changes Rates. Dont know that we will be going back soon. Its a shame. Miss you Carol. Lol the Lillas
Weve been here 3 times this year. Always quiet and serene. Nice to walk around. Theres even some wild donkeys this trip.
I had a blast camping here
It seems like a nice park there is water from a spigot near the entrance to the park along the road right by the front gate. Great place to stop for an hour if I can the Pacific Crest Trail
Love it here. So quiet and there are donkeys that roam free. Kinda cool little spot
Hot. Not a lot of shadeFar off the road so not much noise. Costs way to much to camp here
I called and spoke with Leo the park ranger and asked him if I could come and look at the camp grounds and when I arrived he showed me some of the prime camping sites and answered all of my questions. I am organizing a group camping and I came across a few camp sites that will be perfect for my group. The only sad part was it looks like the fire burned the nearby area making some of the views not so natural.
A quiet, beautiful county RV park lots of space between camp sites. Nothing to do but hike and look at the stars, which we like.
Quiet, serene, lots of day hiking and scenic exploration. Great from February through June
$30.00 for no hook ups and sites were full of glass shards and rusty beer bottle tops.
Gost town
Good campsiteWindy but nice calm area.
Great place, quiet & very pretty area.
Old school camping.Near hot springs
Did a car show there great place
Amazing. Love it!!! Quite windy.
A very beautiful camping area!
Sites have tables, fire rings, and trash cans. Some of the bathrooms have showers. Clean campground.
Nice for meditation
Love to camp here, hot showers
