What a view!If you enjoy watching trains, place is a perfect spot to enjoy all the trains passing by. You also get to see nice part of the Mojave desert and the surrounding mountains. Nice back road to Victorville and Hesperia. I really enjoy coming out here specially watching the sun go down behind the mountains. Just beautiful

The parking space is reduced with the new road alignment, but you can still stop and get great views of the trains!

I went there on October 13 to see the UP 4014 Big Boy. This is a good place to watch trains. Lots of other people showed up to see the special train. There was a camaraderie between most all folks who showed up for this event. I met a number of nice people including the man who flew all the way from England to view this steam locomotive.

Best spot for train watching.
