Riverfront Park

Nice place to go for walks and jogs by the water,Definitely not the place to go if youd like to interact with the water.

Its a really nice place to walk, exercise and enjoy the scenery. My little dog loves it there too.

Since the flooding earlier this year (2020), the park has been stripped down to just the walking path and a few trees. Its still a very pretty place to sit on a bench and watch the river, or go for a light jog.I also play Pokémon Go, and there are 2 or 3 gyms and about 8 stops along the path, with several wild Pokémon that spawn constantly. Worth it for the view or the Pokémon hunting.

Beautiful especially in the fall. It has had flood damage but that is why it is called river front park. They have repaired the damage from the last flood but Beautiful place to walk, run, jog, or bike.

We had a wonderful walk. Some of the trees smell really good that are flowering. And the river is starting to flood again.

Beautiful park to go on a walk with your family or by yourself. I go to this park on my lunch sometimes and walk. The park is next to a river so if you just want to relax and listen to the water, you can sit on a bench and enjoy the sound of the water and birds chirping. Park also has a playground for kids and a small rock climbing area for small children. This park is my favorite one in Hermiston!

Luckily this beautiful parked dried out quickly from all the flooding! It is a great place to take the family for a walk, and is a really nice outdoor area for pictures.

Great place to take the family. The playground is a bit small, but the rest of the park is huge. Good fishing, and occasionally, you can find deer. Lots of beautiful scenery, and the majority of the park is dedicated to fitness. The place is well kept, and dog friendly. Beware, though! Not all dog owners are responsible enough to pick up after their animals. Parking is available, but it mostly caters to small vehicles. So if you have a truck, it may be a little awkward to park at times.

Great place to take your dog for a walk, play with the kids, take a short stroll allong the river or get your full run in. One of the trails will lead you all the way to the hospital.

The playground should be in the center so parents can walk the trail and still watch their kids. I feel very unsafe leaving them alone in the parking lot while I exercise so I just sit and wait and then go home :(. Went with a friend today to walk though and with no kids this park is great! Either they need to move the playground where it makes sense or my littles need to hurry up and grow bigger so we can all do a long walk!

I had fun down there, I walked the bike path for an hour or so.

We stopped for some steps before heading out to continue our trip. We were very surprised how well designed the park was for walking and recreating for the whole family. The trail is well maintained. The playground structure for children is small and interesting enough that I imagined my grand kids will spend about an hour exploring it. We enjoyed reading the workout stations. The young trees dotting the trail will provide shade during those hot afternoon. Families of Hermiston have a gem here for healthy living!

Hermiston did good. live very close and like letting my sons play here as its very safe

Enjoy the bike path, for the most part everyone is respectful of each other - except for those who wont put their phone in their pocket and watch where theyre walking.

Small park with a nice expansive open space next to the river. Clean bathrooms with flush toilets and no soap. Playground is small but my kids liked climbing on the rock.

Beautiful day to enjoy annual worship in the park.

City maintenance often cuts back the riparian zone to provide a better view of the river. This leads to worse damage and more cleanup after flooding. It also doesnt help the ecology and animals of the areas above and below the park along the river.
