Vacationing in Oregon and stumbled across a Car show at McKenzie Park in Hermiston Oregon. What a beautiful place to display the Old Classics that are locally owned vehicles. The park is a quaint little place for families of all ages to enjoy. The owners of the vehicles are so friendly and I truly enjoyed the friendly conversation and the stories about their treasures. They also displayed some of the younger generation Hot Rods for people to see and appreciate. Really had a great time and enjoyed some delicious Barbecue with my family. Hope to stop in again for next years Cool Classic Car Show. Thank you for sharing everyone!!! For those passing through look for them around the second week of July!!

Open green amenities like gazebo sink with running water. Cool kids toys.

Awesome park day to day, plus the once a year car show, with classic, hot rods, and collector cars.

There is a clock here, because we can go here to watch it chime. Also, there is a Railroad crossing!

Nice quiet park to sit and enjoy the peacefulness.

Beautiful park, has everything this small town could ask for. The druggies under the pavilion drinking alcohol at 1pm in the afternoon and chain smoking make it bittersweet though.

Its great when you need alone time

Park was nice but one of the toys (the bridge) was damaged with no sings warning children not to play on it. Parents please watch out for this!

Memories from childhood. Great opportunity to meet family and friends. Clean, green, well kept. Play area. Easily located. Near downtown area

We had my great grandsons 7th birthday party there and it was just a wonderful such a nice little Park very comfortable. Thank you so much for having the park available.

Didnt have any tables. But the place was mostly clean.

Its a nice place. If youre hosting an event (say a family reunion, for example) this park has a sitting area with cover from the sun. The playground is a bit small, but the rest of the park is pretty big. Its a well kept place, and they have a monument that was put up in celebration of Hermiston turning 200 years old.

Its a great place to go relax enjoy your lunch there and all the events like car shows that what I went to it was great

A nice quiet place to be alone by yourself to go deep and reflect on the simpler things in life. Its green and you can connect with nature. If you have headphones to distract the traffic go deep into the park. Its very peaceful. I spent a couple of hours there with me and my music. Loved it! BTW, the weather has been beautiful! Yay!

A beautiful well kept place to visit. The center has a lot of things to do, like playing bingo on Thursday night at 7pm. Lots of fun and all proceeds go to a worthy cause.

Hang out with friends

Has Street parking. Is small park near police/fire station so adds to the safe feel. They do movies in park and other activities at this park through out the summer. There is a large cooking area here as well which is very nice.

Theres a great, grassy area behind the fire house for throwing ball for your dog thats fenced on three sides and far from the road. I would give this park five stars, but there are no dog poo bags provided at this park.

Its always been a beautiful place to go my mother is no longer here but it was one of her favorite places to go to sit and enjoy the nice weather.

Lovely little park in the middle of town -- a nice shady respite from the dire heat -- for locals and travellers alike.However, the bully police kicked me out because I was seen there in the park two days in a row...What a lousy way to welcome visitors.
