We had a phenomenal experience!My six year old daughter loves rocks and gems so we took her here while on vacation. The staff was super friendly and helpful checking on us while we looked for gems. We spent $60 (the mid range) on a very large bucket of sand. We expected to find a few small gems, what we got was 2 very large ones a few dozen other sizes.My daughter loved it and my wife and I had a blast too. And if the gem search isnt your thing they have a very nice gift shop that is priced very reasonably.I would recommend checking this place out if you are in town!

We got the Super Bucket, and it was even larger than we expected! We got two amazing large gem clusters, a geode that they broke open for us, and tons of interesting stones and fossils of varying sizes! Amazing contents for the price and would definitely gem mine here again!

My boyfriend and I went in and didnt know what to do or expect but ended up having a wonderful time. Grace was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. She not only walked us through the process but would check on us and tell us some fun facts and identified everything! Amazing place and an amazing experience. Recommend highly and I recommend the super bucket when gem mining!

Kids had a blast! We got a big bucket that came with a fossil mining bag and a gem mining bag to take home. Some really awesome finds! The owners are great people and we are so lucky to have them as neighbors on Main St. Go check them out! Support local business owners. A really fun shop to stop into when strolling down Main St.

I happened to stop by with 2 of my grandchildren. M(11) f(10) after doing three rock slide and boy was it worth it. One had not been gem collecting being new to the mountains. Fortunately for us Lauren was working that afternoon. Lauren was very patient, informative and eager to help. She sat with us detailing all their finds. Lauren made sure both kids had an even amount of gems and fossils. Did I mention they have fossils? There was a Megalodon tooth!!! amongst others. When the kids found out they have fish and turtles, they went nuts. Lauren gave them food and showed then how to feed them. Lauren made the visit both extremely fun and a great learning experience. I will make this a destination in the future with the rest if my grandchildren. It is well worth the stop. Just make sure Lauren is working that day. Thank you Lauren.

This place is great. I enjoyed it much better than the other area gem mines. Lots of great finds and the staff is extremely helpful and polite. And downtown Hendersonville is quite charming. We will definitely be back. Google said it closed at 6 but it actually closed at 8. Maybe call before you plan to go, as the hours might not be accurate.

One of my FAVORITE places to go when I make my way up to Hendersonville!! The quality of the merchandise is top notch and the gems are always the best! 10/10 recommend for anyone visiting the main drag.

Employee wore mask. Very friendly. We went early on a Sunday and were the only miners. Fun experience. Actually found a lot of rocks.

Best Gem mining we have been to yet. We travel around and have been to a few of them. When we came in, Christine was very helpful from the start. We chose the $65 bucket and basically had some fun. We uncovered tons of Gems. There were also a few really big Gems!! We have paid $80 for a bucket in a different state and got less than we did here with the $65. Christine also was there to answer any questions we had. She is highly educated on her Gems!! We had no idea we have been letting the rubys go, untill she showed us with a light that is isnt just a rock. This place is a must have even if you have gone to a Gem mining before!!

This was the best gem mining experience I’ve had. Rylee one of the employees was very helpful with identifying the rocks and has a great personality! I will definitely be going back.

This place is so much fun! The best gem mine in Hendersonville and Brevard! My husband and son had the best time gem mining and planning for gold. Rylee is very helpful and does a great job explaining the rocks and entertaining the customers! We will definitely be back!!!

What a neat place! A must stop when visiting Main Street in Hendersonville. Great idea for an indoor gem mine. Very well decorated, clean and stocked with cool things to purchase. The kids (and adults) love this place. The owners are very nice, knowledgeable and accommodating.

Great place to take your family for fun mining for gems. Its the only place I know where you can pan for real NC gold! We frequent this store for gifts and Madison is always helpful and has a smile on her face. Whether, you want a great mining experience or are looking for Hendersonville gifts, this is a store worth shopping at!

Reghan was very hospitable and knowledgeable about the area. In addition she was helpful and patient with our children during the mining experience. They loved it!! I would highly recommend this place and would go back if in the area. Great place for reasonable souvenirs.

Some of the pieces here are really unique and beautiful. I just had to buy something when I walked in. The people who work here are very nice and understanding, especially Cathryn. It was very nice talking to her!!

Awesome place to visit! My kids and I went while on Spring Break vacay. We enjoyed sifting for the crystals and stones. Got great souvenirs for our family. Definitely recommend and will visit again.

Excellent experience for our grandsons (21 months & 5 years). The person who helped us was very knowledgeable and enjoyed telling them what they had found. Especially helpful tip from her: shine flashlight on rocks to discover that, with some, the light revealed a very interesting interior.We got the $10 bucket which worked for the ages of our grandchildren. The 5-year-old was thrilled with each rock he found. Both found enough large & medium ones to be worth the money.P.S. Sometime Id like to have my own bucket. :)

Awesone place. I planned to propose to my girlfriend at this place and she ended up dumping me beforehand and they held onto the ring for me for weeks while I was too embarrassed to come back.

We stopped by this mine while visiting Brevard from Pittsburgh, PA. Brevard is a great city and residents so friendly and helpful. My 8- year-old daughter had a blast at this mine. The buckets are filled with gems and the gift shop is reasonable priced. We been to many gem mines and think this was her favorite. The employees are really good with the kids and genuinely want you to have a good experience.
