It was a great experience and a must do! If you want to see the Grand Canyon from a totally different angle than this is IT!!! You can schedule it 7 days a week and you will not regret it. Go ahead and buy the CD and Picture it is worth it. We loved it and enjoyed it to the fullest.

I highly recommend taking the Grand Canyon helicopter tour from here! The day starts with a tour bus picking you up from your hotel. It drives you here where you can use the bathroom and buy some water and snacks. Then you’re weighted and given a small ticket with a number. When your number is called the tour begins. The tour was superb. Classic Movie music such as James Bond and Indiana Jones theme song is played during your ride in your headphones which was a nice detail.

Good stop for foodies. Small menu makes it easier to have favoites

We went on a tour of the grand canyon. A shuttle picked us up from the hotel and drive us out to the airport. The plane ride from Vegas was pleasant and the pilot was very friendly and informative. The seat belts rubbed on my neck, but otherwise the ride was comfortable. We arrived at the canyon after a 45 minute ride. The glass bridge over the canyon is a lot trippier than I imagined. Ive never been afraid of heights, but this freaked me out a little. Dont waste your time at the little village. The shops just take away time you could be spending at the canyon. The included lunch can be described as modest at best. A dry sandwich, an old orange, and some chips. The helicopter ride into the canyon is a unique experience though. There are two seats in the front and four in the back. The pilot swaps who has the front seats on the way into the canyon and on the way back out. That does mean that two people wont get the front seat view though. If you do get it, the view is amazing. Its still pretty impressive from the rear, but try to finagle the front. I would definitely recommend this trip, but I think they need better views in the helicopter to make it more equitable for all passengers. I know I would have been a bit upset had we not gotten the front.

Flew out to grand canyon on a jet. Flight was nice. Took a trolley to the canyon and the guide was not so well informed. I wish the normal guide was there the day I went.

In the helicopter tour in Las Vegas, I was seated in the right side window of the heli and I didnt see the Strip. The pilot make the route where just the people in the left side or front saw something. I paid a high value to see anything, they said about we won champagne in the end of the tour, but I didnt see any champagne, we were put straight to the bus back. I send a message to Maverick but they werent interested in apologize. I didnt recommend this tour, maybe is better to see strip in the wheel or in the tour Eiffel, because if you seat in the right side and if the pilot dont make Shure that all passengers have a good experience it will be a loss of money

I went for a Helicopter Tour of the Grand Canyon on Sunday, 9/30/18.It included a fly over of the Hoover Dam, and a landing on a bluff down near the Colorado River where we enjoyed champagne and a light snack.The pilot was a well informed guide and the trip/tour was quite enjoyable.I do recommend this Helicopter Tour.

We took the 7.5 hours tour to the grand canyon south rim. and we were very disappointed.They took us almost 2 hours before the departure from the hotel. The aircaft stinks! Very bad smell on Both flights. They do not clean the airplane or the ventilation system. Very strong human audors and dusty air.It is impossible to see anything from the aircaft because the wings are wide and block all of the view for most passengers.When we arrive there, a driver named Michael took us with the troley. He calls himself michaelpedia but he is not really interesting. He bothered us on the entire tour with many boring stories and facts on the wildlife which we did not see on that tour.Very boring person.He left us less than 2 hours (about 50 minutes on each location) Which are not enough to see all of the views. On the second stop They expect you to eat their lunch turkey sanwitch, visit 3 locations (about 1.5 Mile walk) and visit 3 interesting stores at only 45 minutes!When we finished the tour, I was polite and thanked Michael for the tour without tipping him. His response was screw you... Such an ugly person... I wonder why do I have to tip such a boring person which made me suffer during the entire tour?To my opinion it is a waste of money to spend hundreds of $$$ for a 2-3 hour tour (including the driving time between the 2 viewing locations). Their advertisement is false information. They make you believe that the tour itself is 7.5 hours. It is acfually 4-5 hours only oncluding the flight time. The rest of the time is spent for touring between Las Vegas hotels for collecting and returning passengers.Do yohrself a favor and avoid this Company and that driver.

To be honest, I would give them 4.8 stars, since the trip was only about two and a half hours, and not the four as advertised. That said, it was hot (and humid) in the canyon, and I dont think any of us could have stood any more than the time we spent there. Great helicopter, very clean and comfortable, with a very good pilot. The views were spectacular, and getting down into the Grand Canyon was exciting. That said, I really liked the aerial views of the desert as much as the canyon, seeing all the washes and dirt tracks out in the middle of nowhere. I would recommend this trip for anyone who wants to see the canyon from the inside without having to ride a mule down.

I have been to Las Vegas several times, but I have never had time to make it out to the Grand Canyon. This time, my husband and I decided to splurge and book the Canyon Dream tour. It was well worth the cost and an amazing experience! The price of trip could be justified alone by how well our time was spent! Maverick Airlines is truly top notch. Every aspect of our tour was well thought out and planned to a tee. We felt that not one minute of our time was wasted. We were picked up at our hotel around 12:45 and shuttled to the airport. After getting everyone in our group checked in and assigned seats, we boarded the plane for a fantastic flight out to the canyon. After deboarding the plane and taking a quick trolley ride to the heli pads, we were promptly loaded into our helicopter for our flight into and around the canyon. After our fantastic heli tour, we were taken via trolley into the park for a delicious boxed lunch and about an hour of free time at Bright Angel Lodge. We were then taken back to our plane for our flight back to Vegas. We arrived back at our hotel by 8:00 pm with plenty of time to meet up with friends and grab dinner! All the pilots, tour guides, and other Maverick staff were very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and conversational. By choosing this tour, we got a quick and scenic trip to the canyon and back vs. spending most of the day on the road. Our entrance to the park was streamlined vs. paying the park entrance fees, waiting in line at the entrance, figuring out navigating the park, and finding parking if we had driven ourselves. The South Rim provided fantastic viewpoints while avoiding the more crowded/touristy areas of the park. My husband’s parents travelled to the park on a bus tour the same day we did, and while they spent less money, they left early in the morning and did not arrive back to their hotel until 18 hours later. If you want to maximize the use of your time and still have plenty of time to enjoy your morning and evening in Vegas, I cannot recommend Maverick Airlines enough!

I was so happy with our experience and felt it was work the money. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, the buildings were clean, the plane was clean, the lunch was pretty good for being a box lunch (it was fresh at least), the staff always informed us on what to expect and when we should get a snack or use the restrooms because it would be awhile before we had access to bathrooms again. Which was important since we had kids with us. And the restrooms were very clean. Overall and I am glad we spent the money and did the trip. I have lived in Vegas 15 years and hadnt seen the Grand Canyon yet and it was worth every penny! I highly recommend going thru Maverick if you are going to see the Grand Canyon. I have also done the strip tour with Maverick at night, twice and love that too. Its another much do if you are visiting from out of town.

Everything was perfectly organized plus the very friendly personnel made this the perfect trip for our wedding anniversary.

Done this before but was pleasantly surprised how it exceeded expectations. Did the grand canyon champagne tour from henderson. A little cheaper than from the main airport and excludes the return via The Strip but you know this up front. Miguel was the perfect host (and a pretty amazing pilot too). Well worth doing. Only slight niggle was I found them online and popped into the office to book the trip but they first didnt know their own offers and second refused to take the booking as they dont match their own prices. So we just sat in front of the desk and used their Wi-Fi to book it. Seemed a bit pointless. Then they insist on taking a phone number to confirm things. If you are not from the US this is unhelpful as mobile phone calls are mostly not affordable, even to receive calls on, when roaming! Doh! Otherwise it was amazing and worth every penny. Thanks.
