If you’re flirting with the idea of doing this please do. I’ve done some cool things in my life but hands down this is OFF THE SCALE. My pilot Ace (forgive me if I’ve got your call sign mixed up was ‘Ace’. It is simply incredible. It isn’t cheap but you get what you pay for and I highly recommend adding on a tour of Red Rock and the video package is a must. It’s like being in a washing machine. If I were fitter (and richer) I probably would have extended it. Huge respect to the guys that run this and absolute admiration to the owner ‘Tex’ who served as a fast-jet pilot - although you can smile more ;-)Highly recommend - kudos guys for running such a mesmerising experience!

It is awesome experience. The video prices and any other “extra” are outrage, they even add Fuel Surcharge (which you see only when you pay)

Insanely skilled pilots and very entertaining, relaxed staff. Very cool acrobatics packages available for a great day out. Worth the $$$

This was Amazing I been wanting to do something like this for a long time. If your looking for speed and and to do tricks this the place.But you have to have to do the Top Gun Experience where you actually fly and get to do the stunts. Thanks again

I flew with sky combat many years ago. The flight was an amazing experience. However, thats where it ends. They charge you an outrageous price for the video of your flight. However, when I got home, my video had static through it every time the pilot talked. Which rendered my video useless. I called the owner, I wrote the owner, but he kept choosing to ignore the problem. So I am stuck with a shity video of one of the most exciting experiences of my life. Its too bad the owner didnt have the decency to at least refund my video fee. I quit referring people to them.

WOW! Ive done it all, and this experience was the best of my life. Amazing! Scott McFly was fun and laid back. He made me feel safe at all times. I cant get over how perfect it all was. We had a couple of international gentlemen with us, and the instruction was slow and clear for them. I found that really respectful and made me like the place even more. You must do this!

Had an absolutely amazing time at my aerobatic experience flight. The staff there were incredibly helpful and friendly and the pickup service was great and meant i didnt have to worry about getting to the place on time.I got a full safety briefing and all my questions were answered. The flight itself was fantastic, i didnt feel like the pilot was rushing to push through the aerobatics and in was more than happy to settle the plane down for a few minutes after a maneuver to let my stomach settle.I felt safe and well looked after from pickup to drop off. If you want to do some aerobatics or try something new and exciting i strongly suggest you try these guys out!

Despite them trying to upsell you on everything from flight packages to photo packages, theyre a really nice cool place to visit, and they do allow you to take some pictures with the plane on your phone which they dont have to so thats very lovely of them. The waiting room was very cozy with a pacman arcade, couch, TV, massage chair, and a full kitchen of snacks for guests. My husband loved the flight and the pilots were very kind. It was his first time flying other than taking a plane out of country on trips, and he had drank alot the night before the flight, so we chose one of the not so aerobatic flights but it still had some in it, he thought he was going to barf, thankfully he did not as it wasnt too intense. Take all things into factor before going for the wildest ride and enjoy! They have locations in other states and cities but we chose Vegas since we were visiting the town during his birthday week. Quite honestly Sky Combat Ace was one of the most well run and interesting businesses I have ever come across. My sister, her boyfriend and I headed out for some adventure and we came back beyond satisfied with memories to last a life time. The owner, Tex, was engaging, friendly, and fun and he even personally drove us home after our flights since there was a minor mishap with the shuttle. The hangar/location alone is worth a visit. . . I would LOVE to get to host a party in that unbelievable space! The flight was very enjoyable and the lounge/entertainment room was well stocked to my liking. . . I got to enjoy a complimentary adult frosty beverage (or three) while waiting for the rest of my party to finish their adventures! All in all a wonderful time.

I took my good friend to SCA thinking she would enjoy the mild version of the Top Gun experience. Well, I learned this 78 year old lady from Iowa is a tough old bird in disguise. She loved it and wants more. She handled all of the maneuvers like a pro. This experience is not just for the young. Thanks to our skilled pilots, Scott McDonald and Richard Coe. Fe Coe is excellent at making everyone feel welcome upon arrival. What a day! Thank you SCA.

We are in the same industry of these guys so I guess maybe they would be our competition. I have to tell you we had so much fun I would recommend this to anyone. Amazing complete bucket list item, and the staff was absolutely out of this world went out of their way to make sure we had a good safe time.

This place is truly amazing! When you arrive at their location, you will be greeted by very friendly and nice people. The location is easy to find and very clean. The planes they use are well cared for. As far as the experience, when you start out, as I did, not knowing anything about flying, they walk you through everything. As they begin the different tricks they walk you through how to do each one and then give you the chance to maneuver them yourself! My pilot and my wifes kept making sure we were okay. We went through each of the basic tricks 3 times. He did them each once, then he walked me through them individually and then I performed them one after another. I then had to take a little breather as I was feeling sick to my stomach. After about a 1 minute break, he asked if I wanted to keep doing the basic stuff or do some advanced stuff. I opted for the more advanced stuff as I do not have this type of opportunity often. He took over the controls and then did some advanced tricks which were amazing! It made all the theme parks Ive ever been to feel like childs play! the Titan in Dallas, all the coasters there or in Branson Missouri pale to this experience!I do want to say I had a week stomach the rest of the day, but Id do it all over again! You just do not get an experience like this. If you are a thrill seeker go all out! If you are a little fearful go for it! Just let them know and they will cater every part of the experience to you. But, in my opinion, even if you get sick, its worth it! The video is great.The experience is worth the price and so much more!

I did the Air Combat flight and it’s the most extreme adventure you can have. The staff was great, I wasent rushed and they all were focused on me having a great time even starting with pickup at the hotel. I recommend it to anyone looking for an adrenaline rush.

This was incredible, its only been 4 hours and I already want to go back! From the moment I walked in the door, I knew I was in good hands! Ana at the front was kind and informative. The staff made sure we were informed and ready to go before the flight, which took away some of the nerves. The flight was definitely one of the craziest experiences ever! If you are looking for a new kind of thrill, I highly recommend giving this a try!

If you are an adrenaline junkie, this is a not to be missed experience if you come to Vegas. The staff are all extremely safety conscious and professional.I am a licensed pilot but you dont have to be. They even said in most cases being a pilot can work against you.You like G forces, these planes can give it to you. I was able to pull 8 Gs and started to black out.

The experience was insane. Just left a review on Yelp but Ill recap the highlights here:- Unlike anything youve experienced- The price really isnt bad for how unique and incredible the experience is- You feel completely safe throughout the process- I flew a freaking stunt plane!- These things are more maneuverable than an F-16- The dogfighting was insaneThe only note I would add is that they ask again and again how much you can handle. They want you to have a good experience, so be super clear/honest with how good your stomach is. If you get queasy with turbulence on a commercial flight, ask them to take it a little easy (they can do less crazy stuff and/or let you fly a little more.) If youve got the stomach for it, you can experience things in this plane that 99% of PILOTS have never done. It all depends on you. Dont be shy, tell them exactly how youre feeling!

Awesome people and equipment!!!!Tailored a flight to my needs and also my daughters. Three days now and she cannot get the grin off her face!!! She carries her video on her phone and shows it to everybody that stands still!!! My flight was a little more sedate, but perfect for what I wanted, a little areobatics and some hands on with a side of sightseeing. Everyone there was top flight, and I will be back!!!

Gifted top gun experience to a friend who travelled half way around the world australia to vegas and was given poor instructions of pick up location with failed attempts to get into contact with company 6 unanswered phone calls. Once in contact with Nate Birch the manager we were informed that flight was missed and there is nothing the company is willing to do, to refer to the companys booking terms and conditions. Very disappointing.

What an awesome San Diego experience! First class customer service from start to finish. Our SCA team, Tiffany and Pete, treated us like royalty. The hangar and lounge amenities spoiled us rotten. The airplanes are gorgeous, with performance handling that blew me away. The flight was incredible and Pete piloted the perfect balance of professionalism, machismo, adrenaline, and fun. Loops, rolls, spins, hammerhead, slides --- Pete flew them all then coached me through flying them myself. The time flew by almost as fast as we flew low level through the mountains. And the followup from the video team was incredibly fast. Cant believe this kind of world-class aerobatic fun is only a short drive from downtown San Diego. I highly recommend SCA to anyone searching for an absolutely unique, heart-pounding experience!PS --- buy the video, its a chunk of change but youll be so glad you did

I enjoyed flying with Monarch Sky and its a shame theyre closing their doors. According to the management someone has been checking out planes and not paying. There has also been damage to the planes from the flying the pilot didnt report. The renting of planes from flight schools is done on the honor system. To bad some people have no integrity and ruin it for the people who have integrity. Karma is a funny thing and always comes back to get those who abuse their attempt to get away with things like the disingenuous people they are

If you have any interest in flying and are even considering this as an activity stop. Go an book immediately. My groomsmen surprised me with the dogfighting package 3 months ago and I still cant stop talking about the experience.
