One of the nicest spots in Henderson. Event, sunny day, rainy day, its just a nice place to be.

Lake Forest Park has the potential to be a really nice park but suffers from terrible unaddressed drainage problems. We found standing water under pavilions & on many sections of walkways, not to mention areas of soggy playground mulch. In addition, although it was the beginning of Memorial Day weekend, the large expanse of grassy areas that separated the pavilions from the playground had not been mowed for the holiday, the unofficial start of summer. Lastly, the gazebo that is positioned at the end of a long walkway over the lake had several missing slats making it dangerously unsafe for younger children. The only true positive on the day that we visited were the fun & friendly ducks.

Nice park, but needs some TLC. Park is nice and large, open work pretty landscaping, a nice newish playground, a disc golf course, can a lake for fishing. A large area around one of the pavilions has drainage problems and gets muddy and yucky after raining. The fishing pier is missing planks in the fencing. The water in the lake is filled with trash. Some of the older equipment (jungle gym especially) needs could use some repairs to make safer.

A nice park with a nice lake in it. There is a playground area for kids as well as some nice pavilions and fishing spots.

Beautiful park. Playground equipment in excellent condition. Covered pavilions with picnic tables. Clean restrooms. Beautiful landscaping. Statues. Fishing. Police Department is here also, so its safe.

Wonderful place to take the kids to see the ducks and go up to the beautiful gazebo. It is a place where a lot of people take pictures due to the beautiful scenery. Tall pine trees, a nice, large fishing pond, gazebo out in the water, all nice places for photography. There is a nice concrete walking trail, playground equipment for kids. There is also outdoors covered areas with small built in BBQ pits to have a birthday party or family reunion. There is no charge to use the equipment provided by the park. There is an indoor area you can rent for get togethers as well. Restrooms outdoors that are clean. Good fun place. Nice place to walk each day too.

All I can say is, its a pretty spot. Nice and clean, but I wasnt there for that. I was there because of car trouble. It could be a nice place to bring the family and or kids.

I love how they have cleaned and replaced everything but I sure do miss the pool. It was the center of our summers along with the skating rink.

Beautiful park, with a large lake that you can fish from or watch ducks and their little duckings. There is an excellent childrens playground, and pavilions that you can rent. Also, has a restroom available.

Dont really like the redo theyre doing. Seem less of a family park

Very nice park!It has a big area with tables and benches to go for a picnic.It also has built in barbeque pits so you can barbeque!It is very nice!It also has several playground things so you can take the kids and play on the swings and slides, as well as seesaws, etc.It also has a gazebo that sits out above the lake, and I love going out there to feed the ducks some bread or crackers.They always seem to know when I show up because they come running up to me to see what I have brought them!The police department is on one side of the park and the civic center is on the other side!So it is definitely a win win situation when you go to the park!If you have not been out to Lake Forest Park, you should definitely check it out!You will not be disappointed!

Love this place, the sculpture and the playable sculpture (i mean the train and snail jungle gyms) give it a neat atmosphere, along with the standard park equipment. The kids always have a good time there anyway. And the walking paths are fun for me. Would be five stars but I think the geodesic dome climber needs to be replaced

Lovely park. They really have outdone themselves, now the only thing missing is a splash pad and it will deserve 5 stars!!!

The rooms are nice and the people are very friendly just didnt win any money on slot machine but my time is coming

Lake Forest Park is awesome. The have the toys for the kids to play on and little things set up through the park for the kids to discover. The ducks that sit in the Lake will come right up to you and let you feed and pet them. They have the little garden with stepping stones and beautiful flowers. My daughter calls it the Butterfly garden because its always full of butterflies! We went today Oct 2018 and the butterflies swarmed all around us! Absolutely lovely place. There is also a Gazebo in the middle of the lake that you can walk out to for pictures and more!!!

Good workout on a hilly walk with a good view

My wifes favorite park for taking pictures of the kids. It has a nice playground, and a lake as well as many flower beds that are well kept. A nice scenic park to spend a few hours on any given afternoon.

Its a nice quiet park located between the civic center and police academy. They have a nice play area for the kids as well as a butterfly garden. One of my favorite things is going out to the gazebo in the middle of the lake though it does need to be cleaned up some. Make sure to bring some bread. There is a group of friendly ducks and geese always looking for food. Covered picnic tables are available.

Loved going since the pool was available and the horse carousel and the other big slide and now it changed but still enjoy feeding the ducks and I see to take my rabbit out here too great place!

Always the perfect venue for any occasion!Today was a great day for an Easter egg hunt and all the trimmings!

They have a frisbee golf course there!!! ...AND you can go fishing! Lol I love this park just wished there were more trees

This is a decent little park sitting on a small lake. They have made a lot of great improvements to this park over the past few years, making it a nice spot for some family fun.
