The swings were closed, but thats due to Covid-19.There were homeless sleeping in the slides when I arrived with the kids. But they were extremely polite enough to move out for the moment the kids were playing.I noticed there was no gate around the park that separated from the road the rest of the grassy field was gated all the way though.all in all we had a great experience kids got worn out had an awesome lunch and better now napping so I think auntie did good today!
Park is very big and lights are on at night. Half the park is locked and you cant get to it. Its a waste of park since were supposed to be apart from others.
The grand kids like their play area and the kids that come there on the weekends with their parents for soccer. There are several homeless people but so far they dont bother anyone
I may have concieved a child at this park lol!
Great time but theres no shade
Nice park for kids
My kids seem to enjoy the park. Its got to be at least one of the more safer ones to visit.
Great open place to practice fly fishing walk jog run. Play soccer and they have a lil playground
RC dirt track needs TLC but great overall. Flat asphalt track is rarely used.
Very big park. Soccer is played here on weekend for kids. There is also a small playground to keep siblings from being bored and have fun while the games going on. Down side it is not close to all the fields.
Would take my son over to the lil dirt cars and trucks racetrack and watch people fly their toy planes and helicopters after UNLV football games @ Sam Boyd stadium
They kids love this park. Great for the family!!
Enjoyed this place not many people just kids and there families
Green grass and l trees.. Lots of it.. Like fields of green complete with soccer moms, lights and Pop Warner league teams playing night games... Clean air and on the glad you can sunbath and breath... Take the afternoon and relax here.. its off Boulder Highway .a short drive, bike excursion or bus ride (RTD) from the strip and dt./Fremont experience horns and casinod
Kids can practice
Theres a new addition to the Silver Bowl Park in the Southeast Las #Vegas Valley - its now home to a Cricket Field. Cricket is a centuries old sport using a bat and a ball and played on a circular or oval field. It’s second only to soccer/football in worldwide popularity. Cricket was believed to have been invented in England and spread worldwide. This was a prod effort of the Nevada Cricket Association (NCA), which has been working to grow the game locally since it was established.
Great park to take your dogs to.
Great things to do & see.
It used to be alot more kept, the bathroom building has caught fire and been replaced by two horribly kept Porta Johns. The grass is barely useable for the kids to play soccer or anything else... great shade trees and a nice playground.
Fields were just alright. Played on much better in he Vegas area.
Silver bowl Park is a decent park if you go there kinda early in the morning or afternoon Monday thru Friday otherwise if you go in the evening or at anytime Saturday or Sunday it should be renamed little Mexico because it has so many Mexicans running through there that you cant even tell what color the grass is not trying to be funny but its true they play soccer there on the weekends and anyone who has ever been to a park where the mexis play soccer knows what Im talking about..nuff said
Its beautiful now with the renovation
Have been coming to this park for the last 20 years the restrooms are disgusting.
Simple playground. Lots of field space for soccer games and such.
New Cricket ground! Great.....
Pretty cool. First time being there.
Place to let the grandkids burn energy
Nice place to relax mind & soul...
Park is mainly fields for soccer and they are not in great shape. very wobbly and the grass was completely dry and yellow. not great facilities to play soccer at
Its really awesome because there are soccer goals and there is a lot of fun and you can play soccer
Huge Park great to play soccer lots of leagues go here to play
No splash pad. There were teenagers camped out at the top of the slide my kids had to step over them to go down. My kids asked to leave. The park was dirty, there are no water fountains. The worst park I have been to in a long time.
Great for early Morning walks
Great place to play sports
So much fun, playing with my kids. They grow up too fast so I am going to savor all the time the good Lord gives me!
Grass is decent to play soccer in.
This park has a huge field & if you go all the way to the back, theres a hidden little with two RC car tracks! There are even bleachers to sit & watch people race & run their cars. Its really cool!
It was a decent soccer park, but the fields were not in real good conditions....dry grass that just tore up the players skin when they slid...could not see the out-of-bounds lines.
Well its now called old silver bowl Park good place to walk your dog two baseball fields.
Very cool place
Be prepared to use portable toilets, some of the field are not in good shape but at least you have no problem with parking
Grass soccer fields, well some of them. Some are mostly dirt, all of them are lumpy. A couple are definitely better than others.
This is a great venue for soccer. It is convenient and well-maintained.
Very Good..!!
Good ole big park with open stadium and a surrounding big field great for any activity. And the road goes around it completely.
Great park if you have a bike I would consider bringing one
I go here for different events. Its always a Great time and they have help with finding parking!
I guess it was ok....needs some serious attention
Very nice family Park
The gates can be annoying and the fields are in pretty rough shape - uneven and the grass is in bad shape most of the year. The nicest part about this park is that lights are ON EVERY NIGHT. We play ultimate frisbee here Monday & Thursday nights at 7 PM!
Park could be much better maintained. Only good part - theres enough space for everyone
Love it expect for race cars driving in middle of night in dirty and half of it is blocked off for a project yet again. Nice place to take my puppies and picnic.
Sometimes traffic is treacherous
Beautiful Park weve had some good times here
Big soccer fields
Nice fields seem to be well kept, bathrooms do not have door on the stalls.
No signs for parking. Food and drinks were reasonably priced.
I like the way the fields are located, we go there to play a tournament every year, and the fields are awsome
Cool place to go if you want to get away from the crazy Vegas scene
Nice playground for my tots and 7 year old.
Park is ok mostly for soccer. Run my pup there and theres a decent playground though a little old.
I play 2 tournaments on these fields per year. The fields are in poor conditioners. Restrooms are awful, they really need to make them usable.
Big lot of fields but the grass needs some attention
Rc park need some repair but free fun
Nice and green. Grate place to take a long walk.
Nice fields
Good place to water a soccer game, or three.
Only cricket ground in Vegas
Awesome place!
If you really have to play here, good luck. Dare dirt, fields face the wrong way and it stinks out that way.
Great soccer tournament fields!
Big park, great fun.
Clean very nice employees are terrific
Clean and well kept local park
Two RC tracks, numerous Soccer and Baseball fields. A lot of open space.
Very huge park
Great!
Good
Great Soccer park!!!
Mainly is soccer park not much more
The facilities
Nice park
Parking park
Nice
Grass is dead
Nice park
Lights stay on until ~10p on weekdays. Plenty of fields for all sorts of user groups.
Dog poop city
Hard dirt, no roof on the dugouts, lots of bugs and dirt in the wind from the desert.
Go unlv just a fan
Place is a bit out of the way from the rest of Vegas and access to it is narrowed at the intersection of Boulder Highway and Russell Road which turns into a traffic pain when trying to get there or leave
Good place to be
Fun
Very nice park!
Still ghetto they need to fix this park up for sure.
The bathrooms have no doors.
Needs real restrooms not portipottys
Nasty
